I'm guessing at 5mil the KITT will take a couple rpgs and be armed?

Well they'd better make my Savage start taking a few too then lol.

 

If this is armed with all these missiles and everything, then I get the sinking feeling this is going to be a repeat of the homing launcher like we had on that fateful festive surprise - something they drop on us before Christmas that just messes with the balance of everything, doesn't really sort much anyway, etc.

 

I'm just going to hope Yan's the one who's right.

 

After the homing launcher release I stopped giving af what R* releases. the homing launcher is so OP and the fact twinkies can buy it to start ruins everything. I use to be a buzzard pilot that could get 50 kills before needing to go for a new copter. Now I get a few kills and more than usually get taken down. sh*t just the other day I drove past someone and was more than 20 blocks away and he took me out with a homing. I was just dumb founded and turned off gta. Haven't played for couple weeks since then.

Ah yeah I know, it's just I'm the slow helicopter hovering around that gets caught in the middle - devastated by the spaceships and lazers, never really king of the sky anyway right now, and just having more and more stuff added that's 1000X more powerful and gives everyone hell.

 

You're right though, just got to dial back expectations, let the engines cool off a little, etc.

All in all, I think online is just reaching the end of the life cycle and R* is just having fun with it now. Like the R* fa**ot posted about the beards issue, it was causing too much clipping and the art team was going nuts about it. I feel like the art team has a lot to do with why this content was in the game before up until now. All this stuff could've easily been in the game to the start, but they waited till now to do it. Seems like people are letting up and stuff is sliding through.

 

Once updates are officially done with gta5 online, it makes me wonder what gta6 online is going to be like. Its probably going to be bland compared to the end of life cycle gta5 online.

I got trouble to imagine how to mix Supra (MK4 i mean)and Skyline.

 

Supra (4) got smooth coupe lines, while R34 is blocky old-fashioned ride.

 

As long as I can imagine Skyline with Supra taillights, nothing else comes to my mind. Or other way around:

 

Unless it is Supra MK3, this one could easly blend with R34.

 

Ugly or not, matter of opinion, either way looking forward to see how they manage to blend 2 totoally diffrent styles cars into 1.

That's part of it. Plus the insane power out of the RB26 and it's looks. Even though people still claim they're illegal in the U.S. because "they're too fast and cops can't keep up".

This is something we could debate for pages and pages, but here's not really the place for that. To cut a long story short, then, any half-decent player could stop him before he killed anyone. So, yeah, it messed things up there.

Mostly like due to it's overhype and so on. Movies, games, basically everything. Same to Ford Mustang or so, just diffrent country.

Both cars were higher-performance roadcars for average wealthy (but not rich) John, who wanted performance but without spending few times more on actual supercar.

 

Personally, out of all these jap ricers, I prefered NS-X and 300ZX.

Fast and Furious most likely boosted the reputation for Skylines. They are really nice cars. Probably has nothing to do with them being rare. There's 3 R35's that are in my city, Stock, Black Edition and a Nismo. I see them almost every day and my jaw still hits the floor. Gran Turismo is where I fell in love with them though.

considering the homing launcher did nothing for the jets at all and that it takes more skill to fly a copter than any other vehicle in the game. I would say yes. I take jets on all the time in my buzzard and win. I've gone up against 3 jets at once before and won. It fathoms me how bad some players are in jets despite how easy it is to take anyone out with its OP explosive rounds. Its not like anyone can get in a buzzard and be instantly good. Hell I don't even use auto lock option in the buzzard. When R* released the patch giving you an option to not auto lock it was the greatest day ever. I didn't have auto lock pointing at cops anymore.

 

Back before homing launcher, if anyone really wanted to take me out all they had to do was use the mini gun, but that was level locked like most OP weapons should be. I spent lots of money on my buzzard, but i didn't spend money on it to become useless by twinkies shooting me down with a 20k homing launcher.

Insane power they can produce when modified. AWD. Pretty good performing cars, even at stock levels.

(personally, I've long said that the best way to make something more like the San Andreas Jester is to take stuff from the SC300/Soarer, and graft those elements - taillights, for one - on to a car that's mostly A80 Supra, while something that takes similar-era Nissans, from Skylines to Silvias, would also work, whether that be a 'Skyline with Silvia elements', or a 'Silvia with Skyline elements')

Well, today has been an interesting day. So to clear it up, if this guy IS legit how many of you will buy FITT? I honestly hope he is lying, I don't want parody vehicles to ruin this. I don't have anything against parody vehicles, but this isn't the right time for them imo. Just because you can add something, doesn't mean you should. Prices aren't a problem for me, but it still is upsetting R* would do this. I'm sure we'll get over it, but a DLC like this has so much potential.

Just overall good looking car and also the history behind it. The horse power figures it was told to have was much lower than it really did have due to a hp cap cars were allowed from factory. So the skyline was one of those f*ck you and your rules kind of car.

They are pretty common in Australia and the RB motors even more so. The RB30 was in hundreds of thousands of our most common and cheap family car. I used to see 5 RB30s a day go to the scrap metal crusher, no one cared. The 2JZ is a better motor than the RB really. Anyway there's really nothing that amazing about them, strong motors that take good boost without spending much but thats about it, they don't perform well at our local drag strip either.

I might be the only one, but I actually don't mind this update. Let me clarify. It is the same old Cargo-style missions with a twist. While that statement might have some negative connotations, I see it as a positive. We are able to import and export unique cars, which is always a plus. That's not the issue at hand, though, "Special Vehicles" are.

The reason I'm not mad is because I don't see these amphibious vehicles disrupting the flow of the current online, as most of the people that go to the shore anyway (mostly CEOs capturing cargo and VIPs on their yachts) are either armed to the teeth or in passive.

The airborne vehicles don't seem to be that dangerous, just wacky. If a Hind can be taken out in 4 shots from a heavy revolver, I'd imagine this car has atrocious armor for a 5m dollar machine. That's just my two cents. Maybe it isn't just viewed as a practical repost from another user.

The thing about the Ruiner2k is, it doesn't fly, it has a parachute, so at best, it'll glide. Unless you're taking a stunt jump at top speed, it'll just fall out of the sky at a slower pace than normal. Not exactly a massive danger to anyone while it's in such a position. If anything, it'll be at it's most vulnerable.

 

Sure, if it's armed as heavily as claimed, it'll be a problem, but i still think it'll only be upgradable in the missions it's used in, and if a player wants to own one, it'll be the standard pegasus vehicle. There's no way R* would allow a vehicle with explosives as a PV if the Technical, Insurgent, Turreted Limo etc all can't be PV's either.

No one claims they are illegal in the US because "they're too fast for cops", they are illegal in the US because they didn't meet safety requirements and emission standards. Its why a lot of foreign cars are illegal in the US and this is widely known. Plus another reason they were outlawed was the high demand for them and were having a ton of them stolen to meet this demand.
