I just read through the posts on 4Chan, and as someone who has previously talked to R* employees and as a big long time fan.

 

That guy is 100% legit, he sounds exactly like a dude from R*, like 100%.

No, if you look into his post history he has made some VERY detailed comments on BIKERs Update way before its release.

I doubt R* will know which of their employees this is, plus why would they care? He didn't release that much of important details. Just more of a Q&A that we very much well deserved that R* wasn't ever going to bother with. If anything they can thank him for it, I've backed off a bit about some of my gripes now reading what he had to say.

So to summarize these leaks;

 

The Good;

 

20 car garages, with buyable extensions to create 60 car garages.

Additions to CEO work, focusing on (surprise surprise) grand theft auto.

The work sounds very interesting, being called "miniature heists".

No set up costs for the work, just find and steal the car, return to warehouse.

Players can, instead of destroying (which yields no benefits), steal these vehicles and claim them for themselves.

20+ new cars coming, with 7 of them being specialist vehicles.

2 vehicles kept hidden, saved for the Festive Surprise.

2 new Legendary Motorsport vehicles.

An R34 Skyline, for that half of the community that's been wanting such a vehicle for a long time.

All of the normal vehicles being Benny's mobiles, but no lowriders, so more thorough, in-depth customisation.

More clothes and masks being added, including Cthulhu, dinosaurs and a gorilla mask.

New styles for your Organisation.

New "things in the shop, too"

A way to finally change your characters physical appearance, costing 100k to use each time.

 

 

The Bad;

 

Most definitely the work is locked to Public lobbies, again, but this was to be expected.

It won't be cheap, but that just goes to show the amount of stuff we'll be getting.

Afew gimmicky vehicles, but nothing* too outlandish.

Instead of armed boats and dinghys, there are two specialist amphibious vehicles, a Blazer, equipped with machine guns, and the Technical. (Trying to be reasonable, so these can go in the bad, for now.)

 

The Ugly*;

 

One of the "specialist" vehicles, a parody of Kitt, the car from Knight Rider, called the Ruiner2000, will apparently be equipped with rockets, both homing and standard, as well a minigun. It will also have the ability to "jump", and has a parachute which can be used to "glide". As for how dangerous and gamebreaking it is, that can only be determined when we have the update and can test it out for ourselves, so please don't get worked up about it, yet.

Something like the LSC paint menu could easily be hidden away in the patch notes, also, we only know a small portion of the cars.

Don't think the DoD would be in R* agenda due to it being really impractical. The KITT car might have obnoxious weapons, but it can't plow through traffic and stay at top speed with perfect handling. The insurgent is as close as you'll get to the DoD, but he even said that was a mistake inputting it into online free roam.

 

 

Again, no one knows what the heck TT is?

Oh I don't know if the Technical's too bad. It should've just been an armed dinghy, but that's essentially what the Technical should be, plus it's the closest we'll get to a Vortex (true, hovercraft, Vortex).

 

The big offender is the floaty car I think, and more just that there's so much that people wanted this stuff to actually be instead.

 

But we'll have to wait and see. Maybe it'll turn out this was false, or it was leaked so they could get a feel for what people thought of it. Or it'll be like Dallas where it turns out to be a dream.
