I'd just like to add that the same guy posted (on the same general) about the Bikers DLC before it was released, properly predicting the Tron bike, Esskey, Youga Classic etc.

As of now I'd be inclined to believe what he's saying is true.

Well then this update is trash.

 

 

Because of a few vehicles? What about the 60-car garage, and the new cars that were shown?

 

A car that can jump and has homing rocket will kill freemode. It's just gonna reveal more crate/supply/product destroyers.. Basically, it'll spoil it for a lot of people.

 

 

Well, can't wait to see what GTA VI would look like if Rockstar decides to add stuff like this to their game.

 

It'll look like a flop, that's what.

 

My 10 years younger me would love that. My current me, not so much.

an import export update has the biggest chanse of adding fan favorite cars and what do we get? A rocket powered voltic,a car with homing rockets,mostly Benny cars etc.

 

 

"Mostly Benny's cars", which aren't Lowriders. This literally just means that all the cars that aren't gimmicky, (all 7 of them) will have that in depth level of customisation people have been wanting since Benny's was first released. How is that a bad thing?

Explain to me how they will redeem a f*cking parachute car. How will they make that NOT be childish bullsh*t? It is. It's stupid. I will complain because there is no possible scenario where that doesn't make this game instantly be ruined.

Too much leaks for my brain to function. Imagine if we got over-hyped for 2 weeks and then when the DLC came out we got flying cars and Quad Jetski with machine guns. Thank god this guy told us the content.

I still think it's going to be a good update but my standards have dropped.

Turns out, some guy on 4chan has been leaking stuff since Bikers and he's legit, everything he said then was spot on and what he said will be included in the update will mostly be outlandish gimmicky cars with broken attributes and high price-tags.

While I appreciate faith in R* is pretty low, I found a lot of what he had to "leak" very unbelievable. If he had some other proof, other than his word, it'd go a long way.

I don't think the KITT car will be any threat at all in freemode. Jets and helicopters will still rule everything. You just can't move a car like a helicopter, even if it supposedly can "jump".

The more i think about this awesome update, the more i feel KITT could be my fave. Its just a modern jb700 with a few extra gimmicks essentially. Plus i wonder which tuners will be benny's. Very excited atm.

Ramp Car and ramp truck- Ok no big deal, so what? They have ramps? Whats the big deal?

 

Boxville with guns- Literally a turtle with firepower. It will be a rolling sticky bomb target. Slow af. It's a Boxville guys.

 

KITT- People have asked for this car for ages, and the functional JB700 guns. Congrats they combined them and added rockets. Still will get destroyed by jets and helis. Still won't be super car fast either. A parachute. As a person who has literally dropped real vehicles out of aircraft irl I don't see the issue.

 

Water Vehicles- People wanted a reason to go in the water, congrats we got water vehicles and missions go with them.

 

Its all about perspective.

 

Just releax people. It won't be as bad as you are making it out to be.

because a update that defines gta gets destroyed in favour of gimmick stuff that has Nothing to do with import export. The only things that fits are the garage and the some of the new cars. Even the masks and clothes are just a slap in the face to people who where asking for better clothing.

 

So yeah i already complain. It's a forum afterall. I'm not gonna said silent and take it all because it a beloved company.

Again, "No cars people really want". Really? I'm pretty sure just because you don't like the sound of two cars, that means the whole update is sh*t and literally nobody will like it. For a start, buy what you want, ignore what you don't. As for vehicles nobody wants? An R34 is being added, something many people want, but because you don't like it, its worthless to everyone. Lagging out public sessions isn't hard if you wanna play this stuff, and if you enjoy the company of other randoms, consider changing to a less used aiming more like free aim. I've found everyone to be much friendlier when you can't kill them as they drive past full speed.

 

It's honestly ridiculous how much of this bitching is all based around one car, the Ruiner2000, and so people completely disregard literally everything else from the update. I've not seen a single person be happy about the other aspects leaked, it's literally all just whining about one vehicle. Get a damn grip, people.

Last I checked, 6 out of 20 vehicles doesn't constitute "mostly".

I don't see how it's selfish to be concerned for the future of a series that I've played since I was a kid.

Especially when they choose to release all this ludicrous stuff in an update that I was hoping would take GTA back to the roots of what the series is based around.

Did Shotaro or even Sanctus destroy the Bikers? No, 'cuz we got 15+ other great bikes.

Yes, I'm not gonna pretend like I like the concept of Ruiner 2000 nor that Boxville, but those are not the only cars in the update. We gonna get XJ220, updated Reaper and (hopefully) R34 and "some more ricers".

Being salty about one-two cars ain't gonna change nothing.
