don't care if it's based on a real thing. a sensitive class like the supers need to take it more calm.

don't overdue things with flashy stuff on a class that is often frowned upon because of things like this.

That is exactly what they have been doing. You and I and the people on these forums, we are the minority. Most people, aka kids, that play this game, want outlandish cars. We have to keep the mindset that out of millions of players, we are but a drop in the ocean.

 

Well, then again, we're the only ones voicing our opinion, and actually saying what we want.

 

We could assume that there's this mass of kids (and I'm sure there is), and that they all want those cars (which I'm not sure they do), but it would all be an assumption at the end of the day.

 

I think they should go by what the people who care enough to voice their opinions say - I mean, they're the only ones who we can actually know for sure what they want anyway.

 

this. what rockstar does (if you follow this thought) is just mass producing to "blind" followers without second guessing if it's actually a good thing.

Regardless, I don't think they do too bad of a job balancing what real people want and what will sell cards.

 

Take the Biker Update for example, the Shotoro and Sanctus, those were their card sellers. The rest of the update was pretty decent and clearly took some cues from the petition.

Good point I guess. Still, not everyone's got rich parents - they're not all Jimmy De Santa.

 

I think if anything, it's the really dedicated people who they're most likely to get more money off, and I just don't know why they're ignoring some of the key points they raise (pretty much unanimously too, like jets, other stuff, etc.).

i guess in his eyes we are not as important to rockstar then the kids (which even though they are with allot,the game isn't even made for them).

 

Just because rockstar is ignoring it's ( most loyal voiced) fanbase in favour of the kids doesn't mean we should take and say it's "alright,it's a business afterall" . That's helps no one. No matter how much you love them. Critisism is needed On this case and right now needs to be heard.

Well just to to a little step back, I don't have any problem with the Shotaru; far-out vehicles don't really bother me.

 

What I was talking about, was this idea that Rockstar's always reading here and listening to what everyone says, doing what we all want. Which clearly isn't true at all, or something would be done about jets (hate to bring that one up again, but it's the best example - something nearly everyone agrees on, and something that's requested a lot).

 

As for what everyone's buying, well it's not exactly like they're putting the alternatives people are asking for up there for sale are they? If there's only one option, then of course it'll get plenty of sales (being a popular game) - that doesn't mean that another option wouldn't have got a lot more (but we're not going to know with them not putting them on sale).

 

All I know is, this wouldn't be the first time I've seen a games company ignoring its main fans, choosing instead to make assumptions about what kids want - only to pay the price a game or two later.

 

Those are my vibes anyway.

Apparently there's a glitch where you go into a job that has taser cops, kill the cops and then go to freemode, spawning you with the taser.

I am simply saying that the content that is in question, the outlandish stuff, which is always priced in the stratosphere is clearly designed to sell shark cards.

add normal looking supers first to give them a bit more credit with real detail (t20) instead of flashy lights without thinking about the real important detail.

Features in Saints Row IV = dumb and unrealistic

 

If it features in GTAO (hope not) = an open world first! Tron inspired vehicles!

 

The same thing was said about the Shotaro. Pays homage/tribute to Tron in GTAO but when Saints Row had it first, it was lambasted. People only worship the Shotaro because it's in a Rockstar game and not a Volition/Deep Silver game.
