Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

Now can we talk about what we might get? I don't give a crap if it becomes a wishlist or not, what do you think is possible? What cars? Properties?

I just want two, maybe three cars with further customisation like RS/900R. Futo, Comet, Elegy, Done! And hopefully we get this in the Import/Export Update, however we should call it at this point.

I'd like a 7th property but only if new ones are released like mansions or beach houses. Customizable yacht interiors. 2 or 3 more Benny's cars, I'd love a Comet custom. And some actual info on the next DLC and for said DLC to be a little more solo friendly.

I'm with you. I mentioned a few pages back that if this update is anything like E&OC last December, then we should be in for a few nice extras besides a new way to make money with the "vehicle-based business ventures."

 

Last year, E&OC gave us the VIP mode, yachts, penthouse suites, stilt apartments, an assortment of vehicles, and the 5th property. The 4th property slot was released two months prior with Lowriders part 1. Being that we received the 6th slot two months ago, there's a great chance that we'll receive either property slot number 7 and/or a special way of storing import/export vehicles. I think that if this new mode falls under CEO, then I'm hoping for garages to be added to the existing offices along with a new chop shop which leads to unlocking a mega garage.

 

And as far as new properties, again, I'm hoping for the beach houses in Vespucci and Pacific Bluffs to become available along with mansions, even some of the remote ones on the other side of the hills in the west. It would be nice if and when mansions are introduced that they come with dual ten-car garages and a personal Pegasus spawn point, otherwise they're just expensive eye-candy.

 

I'll still buy one though.

I could still live with just a property cap removal....and bug fixes....

Heck....if they would tell me they would not release an update containing a GTA version of the lamborghini countach, Ferrari F40, Mazda RX7, delorean DMC-12, volkswagen beetle, apache longbow, mil mi28, pzh 2000, a-10 thunderbolt and propper gta renditions of the ford gt, shelby cobra and instead are gonna focus the next year on trying to fix this game until all bugs are out and everything is usable in some way and there are no balancing issues anymore, i wouldn't be mad at all....if they would, i at least would be assured they finaly got their priorities straight again.

As much as I love classics, I really don't want any unless it's a classic Mustang (no restomod, just pure classic) or a classic Challenger or classic Feltzer. Those types. Otherwise some 90's icons and modern cars focusing on unused brands would be great.

Alternatively you could just buy an old console and the game for very cheap nowadays.

Then not only can you play Red Dead, but also thousands of other games that are on old gen.

 

It's great that RDR is going to be playable on CG consoles, it isn't great that they are hiding behind a subscription paywall.

 

Edit: OT: This coming next week should indicate a release date for the next GTA Online update.

 

Ah, I've already played the game on last gen and it's definitely a favourite. I've still got it although the online isn't working anymore.

 

I just wanted to relive the game with improved graphics, although the game does still look bloody amazing on PS3.

 

On topic: we'll probably get vehicles for the next update.

Rockstar aren't going to just let you walk away with millions of dollars worth of cars without there being a catch. I wouldn't be surprised If we finally see,

- "fixed an issue where some players lagged out of lobbies". (When it should have been fixed before F&F)

I can't wait to see what new "risky" ways they have planned. You just know for Rockstar to even mention the word "risk" themselves on the newswires before the update is even announced, there will no doubt be some risky sh*t.

As I've said earlier, I hope the cars get "welded" on the Packer when they've been properly placed by a player. We all know how lag/latency can cause things to be at slightly different places when traveling at speeds. Having a group of people riding the train is one example.

 

Also, OT but I just realized I painted my Monroe in the exact same colour so that means Lamar will eventually steal my Monroe...

really? I have to download it again for pc and see if performance improved. I wouldn't mind playing GTA 4's story again for the 6th time.
