Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

Another way for players to share big money and exploit the game. Won't happen.

Well, it could be an exploit, in the same way that Heists can be. But as stated above, more often than not there would be backstabbing and sabotage. Anytime multiple players are required to carry out specific tasks to complete an objective the risks are high. I could see something like this being what free mode organizations evolve into honestly. Why have separate organization like CEO/Biker/whatever's next if they aren't going to interact?

 

I mean, they already do in some ways. I've only had my Biker businesses be attacked by NPCs a few times, never had to defend my warehouses but I'm assuming it's similar. There are several different scenarios that play out with the different businesses and they are pretty fun actually once you learn them. But the first thought I had when it came to that, was why not have let rivals be the attackers/narcs/raiders/whatever? Like a free mode event?

i think it could work, if implemented like i suggested...

 

money from investors go into a securoserv account, that money is separated from your regular money, so you cant use this investors money to buy cars and stuff like that, so it wont be THAT exploitable for profit.

 

ofcourse it would be exploitable with people splitting sessions to make sales and stuff like that, but still i think something like this would have been fun to have.

I think next update will bring a big dlc content. Shark card offer now. I guess one will follow in 2 weeks with a lot of sales (properties, offices, warehouses and upgrades; same for the biker stuff). But more freeroam activities and events would be great; combine this with a short cooldown period like they did a few weeks ago (or was it months?) to make freeroam more interesting again. It was really funny. Bring back armoured trucks and crate drops and businesses stuff from the older games. I think Mach1bud is right about the clubhouse as garage space but i guess if this is really is about cars we'll get more space. And if they ever bring something like a mansion or helicarrier or whatever please let us control all our businesses and properties from there (just wishing, that will never happen) and/or give us an app! On topic: I think there will be more armored stuff, weapons and attack vehicles. I'd like to see a turreted suntrap or tropic.

Ever since they updated the Newswire website they have been posting fewer posts. I just hope this isn't some excuse to not post posts more frequently. As if they posted much posts before it anyway. Since this is the last week this update will be updated, it almost safe to say we can expect an announcement post no later than next week. but here's hoping we get a post regarding the Next DLC™ this Thursday. (I doubt it, but we will see when they decide to post it)

 

- Bikers' announcement was posted on the 19th September
- Bikers info/date was posted on the 27th September
- Bikers was released on 4th October

- 2 week gap...ish -

You mean, Sanctus wasn't supposed to be time-limited vehicle? I thought it was, just like any themed stuff? The Lurcher from last year's update isn't available after Halloween.

But maybe it is because Sanctus is hella expensive so they made an exception.

I'm a strong believer in the fact that we need more property slots but it's ridiculous to say we don't need any more cars because you're scared you might need to swap one of your existing ones out.

The lurcher is still available, if you bought it. That's the problem. The sanctus isn't.

That is actually just a generic response and doesn't mean anything. I've seen them respond the same way 1000 times. That's why they call it the "issue" instead of actually addressing it by name. Unfortuately I don't think this proves anything.

 

I do however think they intended for the Sanctus to stay, for everyone, and do think they will fix it in the next patch.

Yea well, im out of space and and until i either get extra properties to balance out the amount of awsome vehicles this game has or i get a 100 percent refund for any car i sell....i call bullsh*t on it

If they do add another vehicle themed update like Lowriders (most likely Tuners) I hope they add the wheels from other cars into whichever shop they use. Cars like the Lynx, FMJ, Reaper, 811 and many others have some gorgeous rims that would look boss on other cars. Also, I hope they show some love to cars with no upgrades like the Picador, Asterope, Gauntlet, Furore GT and a few others. A genuine hatchback Futo like the Initial D AE86 would be awesome as well.

Don't forget the rims on some really "old" vehicles like the adder and vacca and felon....

 

Really, i dislike the looks of the adder to, but those wheels would look great being chromed and put on a vehicle like my furore gt or albany alpha, and black vacca wheels would look great on my reaper.

Im thinking a tuner dlc would be a great way to upgrade lsc with new a major overhaul of the rim/tire selection process. New HD rims, update existing rim textures n color options, add dlc rims for every car. Maybe even have different tire sizes available depending on what type of tire you choose. Muscle tires increase rear tire width/diameter while offroad tires increase width/diameter and add offroad tread. All rims would be interchangeable with the tire options. They had tons of tire/rim customization in Midnight Club on old gen so its def a possibility.

The Verlierer wheels too! There are a lot of great stock wheels that should be added to LSC.

I like to see both. Themed updates with new gameplay and corresponding vehicles. And filler updates with a smorgasbord of new vehicles including pegasus.

Good question. I think that is a good idea, but I don't know how well it will work out. By that I mean I don't know if it will actually minimize the complaints at all. Like for example if an update like that had one dirt bike, but nobody liked it, then what if they complain that the whole update should've been dirt bike-themed so there could be better options? That's probably not a good example, but I just feel like a bunch of people will have something bad to say no matter what.
