Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

Hey all (and thanks Kirsty)!

 

I recently got some new informations that, I gotta admit, are very surprising, but also very interesting. Remember how I kept saying that the SP DLC is no longer a thing, that they basically cancelled it and forgot about it to instead use some of it and their efforts on GTA Online Updates? Well, apparently upper management are starting to seriously consider bringing it back, even though it would only come after RDR2 launches (and maybe not right after it, could be a while).

 

As we kinda guessed with the few things that were found about it in the files a while ago, mostly by Fun, they already had quite a lot of work done before they "scrapped" it. I was told it is 60-70% complete - mo cap, tech animations and voice over are done. Basically the biggest part of the job is done, completing it would not be that hard.

 

Supporting GTA V with a DLC after RDR2 could also mean they will keep supporting GTA Online at least until this DLC comes out, in my opinion. That goes against the info I had a while back saying that they were planning to end the GTA Online updates around Spring 2017, but them changing their minds is not a very surprising thing.

 

As always, that's just what I heard, it doesn't mean it's all spot on or correct, and as I said above, Rockstar love changing their minds, but I thought it would be interesting to share. Now please don't go make videos titled "GTA V SINGLE PLAYER DLC CONFIRMED", or I'll bitch slap you. Thx.

This actually matches with the "leak" from Soft Secret. These are good news.

 

However, SS never mentioned import/export of high end vehicles did he? This is why I think he is wrong.

 

He sure did, said it's following bikers too.You can believe what you want but everything that guy made perfect sense. Most legit thing I've ever read in this thread.

 

He mentioned Bikers after it already leaked. Also, I do not believe he said anything about import/export.

 

He talked about bikers in way more detail, including the clubhouses. Go read his post again.

by adding that ,they don't exclude the chance of the super GT returning. afterall that would be a sport class vehicle,you won't have 2 cars from the same brand in the same class. so no problem there either.

 

True, DBS/C and 458 would all belong in sports though.

Another good super would be the Jaguar CX75.

Weren't clubhouses leaked by fun previously? I'm pretty sure they were. And it doesn't matter, he is wrong. He never mentioned import/export. Come on now..

Mainly due to the unforeseen success of micro transactions and GTA online in general!

 

Liberty City will be released September 2017..

A Open ticket (for Snow Blowers) to North Yankton!

 

EXCLUSIVE VIP Membership (for High rollers) which grants Exclusive access to THE CASINO in Los Santos!

Micro transactions can NOT buy GTA CASINO CHIPS!

one was BEFORE the release of GTAV back in 2013 (Check back and have a careful read, compare it to what we have today) and one post was yesterday (2016)

 

Most if not everything mentioned in that 2013 post has been implemented or reworked into the current GTA Online we have today, from the old mission set up format, to individual heist roles, to the current free mode events!

 

With the Next four Updates to come, GTA Online will have utilised most if not all the work that went into GTAV such as animals, police vehicles, Stock Market, Blaine County etc..

Can't say much more, there on to me..... Speculating can get you in to a lot trouble.. lol

Police AND Vehicles, lets sit back and see if you can steal or Police. We know the Police cars are blacklisted because they are part of a major dlc of heist proportions. This is probably it (Cops and crooks which has been in development since before launch).

With respect to a new garage, do you guys remember the one that came in the files alongside one of the earlier DLCs? It was shaped like this: /\ (a lot wider than that, like spread eagle wider). People speculated it being either a new 10 car garage interior or a 20 car garage space even (place was massive). There were a few videos of players loading into it in single player; it had no textures IIRC, or unfinished ones anyway.

I remember one from within the past six months maybe where it actually looked like it could hold 40 cars. The elevator was in the middle and each side of the garage had enough space to accommodate two rows of ten. When this guy loaded into it, he pulled up the map and it showed him down at an airport hangar south of the runways. That gives me some hope about Rockstar converting one or two hangars into mega-garages like Jay Leno and his car hangar at LAX.

It'd make relatively little sense to store your vehicles alongside stolen stock meant for export. Even if your vehicles were bought with money stolen from the bank

Lol saying there would be clubhouses was not going "into way more detail", many people had already speculated from Fun's leaks that it would work like CEO.

 

Saying Law and Order is anything remotely close to Import/Export is delusional.

I hope if animals ever released we would have the option to disable it in closed session or solo sessionThe game is laggy and glitchy now, if they dont improve it, it will only get worse.

I dont against anyone want this feature, everyone should enjoy what the game offers. Personally just not interested by this feature (maybe im too butthurt for ppl killing and harassing digital animals because of my place most middle age ppl dont cares about animals rights and the raise horrible kids)

Well I hope that if we could be cops in the future DLC, rather than against players which rockstar wants us to be, I hope there are constantly or often NPC crime action, criminal chase happens around the map like single player. And make the prison functional(kinda), arrest NPC and send them to the prison rather than just kill them, drive away and get paid. Or certain missions try to be a prison guard to prevent prison riot or even prison break.

Well, if the 'soft secret' will comes true, i hope it will be like that way. If dont, sit back and wait for new cars and features.

If SS based his bs off of the original leak by fun he woulda included the import/export leak into his post since it was leaked simultaneously. The same leak mentioned both dlc's. Also fun said the import/export was supposed to come with bikers, but was postponed. Not saying hes right or anything. Also some of his predictions could happen simply becuz they're good ideas, not becuz he had advance knowledge. If we get a cops/crooks dlc its becuz the fanbase wants it and r* figured out how to capitalize on it, not becuz someone put out a false leak. On the other side of the coin ppl swore on their mothers graves dragoon was fake also.

At least Dragoon had plenty of evidence to back his claims up, SoftSecrets is literally just playing off the stupidity and gullibility of some people on the forums, there's not a shred of evidence that he has any clue what he's talking about, because Bikers had already been leaked and heavily speculated on before hand, and the only other thing he could claim as evidence is his post about what Online would be like before it was even launched, which was also heavily inaccurate and mostly made up of guesswork/info already being talked about. People need to move on and realise it's bullsh*t, especially since his list is proven wrong with the next DLC not revolving around becoming a cop, or a "Law and Order" DLC.
