Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

If they keep pushing back the biker DLC, it has to mean that it's at least a moderate sized DLC and that it will be bringing a nice amount of new features. Hopefully, either that or they're releasing a bunch of bikes.

Agreed. I don't see how a mini DLC adding two to three new bikes could cause so many technical problems for a developer like Rockstar. It has to be at the very least a moderate DLC and quick frankly, I can't wait for it to drop.

 

I think it's gonna be more than just a biker update TBH. Rumors has it, the update would involve every gang in LS; a feature that has been requested by the community long time ago.

 

Where did you hear that rumour from? because that's something I said a while back hoping the DLC would be about. I hope I haven't spawned a rumour.

 

Well, it IS a rumor, you and I are just spreading it here, it could be wrong though.

 

But what made me believe it more is the delay of the update, as rumored it would have new gameplay mechanics, not just new stuff to buy.

Hopefully its the pay for gas in game dlc. Imagine filling up your cars for $3000 a gallon. The price of the electric vehicles would skyrocket.

OT: I think the image from the Kuruma discount is not that old. If you look closely I think they're wearing cowboy boots, and those weren't a thing until the FAF&F Update IIRC.

Yeah, but then they would make electric cars drive only for 30 minutes before recharging. And the recharging would require 3 hours and a high-end apartment.

Only way to see the Volatus in different colors is to spawn it in Creator mode or use a trainer in SP. You can get some sweet colors then. R* rly should let us change paintjobs on pegasus vehicles.... (or at least color for CEO vehicals). Its' been 3 years! Changing skins to common vehicles would refresh this game better then other dlc. I get sick of looking at the same Titan over and over again... at least they refreshed Cargobob tho...

Wonder if the Picador is being used, I haven't played in a while, hopped on just now and discovered that it's now 4WD. Unless this happened a while ago.

They changed something? will check it out. Picador was one of my favorites but damn its slow now... would love to see him at Bennys

Personally I hope for patches and fixes! Removing of invisible cloth and ghosted but not in passive.....

Speaking of the Vindicator, that's an interesting detail. I must say, that wheel design looks pretty sick. I don't really have the energy the be hyped anymore (that's been drained for the past two months of speculations and "leaked release dates"), but I sure still hope the biker DLC will come. My guess would be that it looks promising at least.

I know it was AWD on the PS3 back in the day and always has been. It's memorable to me because I always wondered why the hell it was.

edit: Also, lowriders catered to more than just street gangsters. It even catered to bikers, actually, considering it added both the double-barrel and the mini AK.

I guess if all you do is stand around in your pretty little leather getups guns wouldn't be much use for you but most of what makes up GTAO is combat, especially when you're in a gang.

Okay. After doing about 8 minutes of research, I've come to the conclusion that the release date of the Bikers DLC will be October 18th with tunables for the Halloween Surprise on the 27th. However, seeing something on the 20th or 27th I still feel is likely, just on a smaller scale. A series of freemode events, clothing, hairstyles, vehicles (1 or 2) we can take to Benny's, etc.

Anyway, back to the real subject in a "biker" dlc---- bikes.

 

As said before, choppers! When this dlc drops and it will, I'm convinced. The amount of customization will be key for me.

 

As it sits now, it's either rockstars way or don't ride.

Interchangeable headlights, forks, handlebars and exhaust seem to be the bare essentials to make a decent bike. Without these, same ol take or leave it dlc.

 

(Also, I'd ride a good chop with any haircut)
