I fear that support for Red Dead 2 will end or severely hamper the updates for GTA Online, respectively GTA 5.

You can add a tracker and insurance to both The Mighty Bush and Mcill Olsen, but if you change session, they will automatically be changed to normal Bisons.

It changes to a normal Bison. Interestingly Michael's worn white Bison from single player does the same thing. We sp-mp it from single player as soon as the mighty bush started turning into normal Bison and BAMM worn white Bison stored.

I honestly don't think RDR2 will be THAT popular..but we'll see when it releases then we can compare the sales.

I honestly don't think RDR2 will be THAT popular..but we'll see when it releases then we can compare the sales.My theory about vehicles not available in SP is that they planed to release them in gta 5 SP DLC/ gta 6 and then they will spawn naturally.

They stopped adding vehicles to SP because they want to force people to buy them in MP where they might use cash cards. People wouldn't waste as much GTA dollars if they could try in SP before buying.

 

They also aren't going to stop updating GTA once Red Dead comes out. They have more than enough manpower to do both simultaneously. GTA is practically printing money to the tune of several hundred million per year, they aren't going to arbitrarily cut off updates until those updates either stop making obscene money or R* decides that it would be more fruitful long term to have that team focus on making a new game.

Just to add to that, there's a way you can customize online vehicles in Creator Mode, without the vehicles disappear, so you can test them out before buying.

i dont see how it affects Gta online at all. They were giving us a lot of content for gta online while developing RDR2, so I dont why people would assume they cant handle both when they already have and are.

 

Gta online was inevitably gonna stop getting new content, but I think thats gonna be because they'll get in that stage of developing GTA VI.

• Police Cars - All of them gonna be replaced, b/c of the new city,
• Commercials & Industrial & Vans & Utility - High possibility of replacing them all,
• Lost Slamvan and Gang Burrito (Original one) - The Lost MC is destroyed by the Trevor,
• Go-Go Monkey Blista - Reward for collecting all mosaics in SP. It wouldn't make any sence to have it in Online let alone in different city,
• Space Docker - Same as GGMBC. It's suppose to be one of it's kind.
• Deludamol Rumpo - It's mostlikely delusion by the Trevor,
• Bugstar Van - It seems that Bugstar is really small company, it doesn't seems to reach beyond LS.
• Cutter - It's only purpose is to drill new metro line. Most likely in next city there will be no need for this.
• Boxville - Other than PostOP one (which we can buy it), all of them are strictly tied to LS.

The list goes on and on. Rockstar knows what they are doing.

RDR2 won't affect GTA Online as they are made by 2 completely different parts of Rockstar. GTA Online is made in the UK and RDR2 is made in USA

Remember when Rockstar released the Hot Rod Blazer, even though it was strictly made for Single Player only? Yeeeah, good times Same with the Buffalo S. And the Stock Cars

Remember when Rockstar released the Hot Rod Blazer, even though it was strictly made for Single Player only? Yeeeah, good times Same with the Buffalo S. And the Stock Cars BuffaloS is based off normal, mass produced car, so I don't see problem there. Racecars are not really specifically hand made neither Hot Rod Blazer...

I agree. That is exactly why they chose to stop updating SP alongside Online.

I disagree. The reason why they would stop GTA Online is not because it could stop generating money or there isn't enough manpower, but because they don't want to "milk" it. Believe me Rockstar could easily continue making GTA Online last for a few more years and people will still be playing and paying, but that's not the point. It's because it's better to stop GTA Online soon due to it causing a high demand in the future. same goes for Rockstar's games it important not to "milk" them. Bigger picture

 

For example: If I take something away from you, you obviously want it back causing high demand. you will be excited in the future when I give it you back.

I guess if the Lost Slamvan gets finally released, it wouldn't be the original Lost Slamvan. It'd be rather a liveriless Slamvan the panel van we all love, sans the Lost MC logos. Think about a case of a Lost Burrito vs the gang Burrito from Heists.

However, I think that the liveries available for the Lost Slamvan gives it "the extra charm".

 

So if another version of the Lost Slamvan comes, it better be with liveries!
