Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

I expected the Youga Classic and the Esskey...

Tbh, really do think Youga Classic, Sanctus and Shotaro will be available near Halloween. As much as it sucks cause I'd love to get my hands on the Mystery Machine, that's why I think it'll be Halloween with the other two.

 

 

I think the Shotaro will be a standalone release since it, and 8 specific clothing items, are tied to the yet to be released Deadline Adversary Mode. And you have to either play or win the AM before getting the ability to purchase those nine items. Because of that, and with the Shotaro's $2.3M price tag, with unlocked outfits being $200K each, this will be held back for the last tunable release before the next update. So maybe mid to late November (though I want it now since I'm saving a space for it in my clubhouse).

 

What I think will happen with Halloween is the Sanctus, Youga Classic, and Vortex will come out, along with the rerelease of the Fränken Stange and the Lurcher from last year. Why? Well the Sanctus is an obvious choice for Halloween, being a skeleton bike with glowing red eyes for headlights; The Youga Classic has a Scooby Doo (Mystery Machine) livery; and the Vortex has customization options called alien, to make it look like an alien bike. Basically 3 themes commonly associated with Halloween.

 

 

You don't think the Tornado Rat Rod is tied to Halloween? And what about the Esskey, it gets released by itself as well or? I think you are probably right except maybe replace the Vortex with the Tornado and release the Vortex and Esskey together. After all the Halloween update really only needs the Sanctus because of the holiday theme, it's not a Biker centered update.

 

 

I don't think the Rat-Rod will come in Halloween. It may come in early November with the Esskey though, since early November is really the last bit of outdoor car shows and motorsports. So here is how I think it'll go down:

 

Halloween Drop (October 25th): Sanctus, Vortex, Youga Classic; previous Halloween stuff; A new Adversary Mode. 2 week event

November 8th: Tornado Rat-Rod and Esskey drops, along with the second unreleased AM; 1-2 week event

November 15th or 22nd: Shotaro, the 8 Shotaro outfits will drop, and the Deadline AM will be available to unlock the Shotaro + outfits.

 

Again, this is just pure speculation on my part, but I really believe that the Shotaro will be held back as a form of mini update in mid-late November, so R* can keep the masses entertained. And, yes, I know it will be activated as tunables, that is why I said "a form of" as it really wouldn't be any downloads taking place.

Yes we got freeroam missions, but a mode like land grab that is more expanded ? i do not see it and i do not see it happening.

I personally doubt it being as all the cars have already been leaked. Of course you never know, the DoD and Lost Slamvan are special cases since they were already in the game.

Have to disagree; The Duke is like the Kuruma and Insurgent combined in one car. You have the full shielding armor and almost the speed of the Kuruma combined with the ramming power of the Insurgent.

Decreasing the ramming power a bit would make it on par for me.

 

I know it's in the files, was merely pointing out that if a nerfed version would be available in online it will probably be a whole new car.

 

And it would be cool to have to find it. But that will never happen because this would be a cash-cow for R*. Would really like to see some cars added that we have to pull off the street and can't be bought, even if these are average cars that have no benefit in having other then them being very rare.

Might be "only" a tenth of that if they release it within the next half year. But with the inflation rate of the GTA$ I wouldn't be surprised if $60M will indeed be the price if they release it in a year or two.

for this halloween dlc they should give us pitchfork, meat cleaver and chainsaw as weapons and also bring back the hellfury bike from gta4, because it fits the theme just like the other halloween bike, the sanctus. they could also bring the duke o death aswell.. as for christmas they could bring snowmobiles, thats something that hasn't been in a gta game so its unique, and they would only be practical for snowy weather which is just during christmas dlc.

There is at least one disadvantage with the Duke O' Death; it seats 2 people rather than 4 like the Kuruma and the Insurgent.
