What's a "Shotaru", and why is it so expensive?

The Shotaro is the Tron bike, as mentioned ^. It has glow-in-the-dark effect to it woo, aswell with the outfits that's been talked about on this and the last page.

What I can see from in-game footage of it, it's VERY fast, handles well, superb acceleration... And turns like a dream in high speed. Worth the money? Maybe. We'll see when it's available to the public.

 

Also, I'm digging the Sanctus. Red-ish headlights, engine sound on-point, can drift, does wheel spins when accelerating... Neat.

 

Are the Shotaru and the Sanctus Limited Edition bikes?

And a driveable ufo. Saints Row had that in it's second game.

 

True. However GTA V already has the sh*tty driving physics and the sh*tty damage models.I found the guy who hasn't played saints row. Gta physics and damage is is on a completely better and more manageable level than saints row.

They are unlocked already (never were locked to begin with). I needed to use something that is in the shops already to check the prices - the blazers were the first I came across so I used them.

so i just watched broughy's new video and he mentions he is not doing the biker dlc test videos until a later date or something? I'm a bit of a pea brain so could someone explain what and why he is not doing the new biker test video sooner rather than later? thanks.

Since he completed all the classes in his "Fully upgraded" series many new DLC have been added with loads of new vehicles, which meant he made update videos which were specific to those DLC, in those he mentions in what position the car ends up both in that DLC and in it's own class overall, this in turn split the actual information over a wide number of videos, confusing the viewer.

 

He is now redoing the "Fully Upgraded" series with all vehicles up to and including the Bikers DLC, that also includes the eight vehicles that have yet to be released, there will not be a separate "Fastest Bikers DLC Vehicles" beyond the short one he already did with the Hakuchou Drag, the only really fast vehicle in the DLC currently.

 

Note that he is not actually retesting all the older vehicles as most have not changed at all, only vehicles that have changed will be retested (like the RE-7B), but he is redoing the videos, putting all the cars in their right positions, and of course doing a new voice over, it's a lot of editing work overall which takes time.

The Vindicator's description actually seemed to reference Akira already so I could be wrong or they're referencing it for a 2nd time.

Do you think they'll actually make an interior for the tron mode? If they actually put effort into it, this will be going into my good adv mode list.

Three interiors were added in this update.

 

Two user clubhouses and the Lost clubhouse in LS. This mode will likely be outside.

 

 

What do you mean with "two user clubhouses exactly?

My biggest disappointment with this dlc are the same restrictions as the ceo thing.

 

For example:

I hoped Rockstar would let us build real clubs with permanent members (filled with occasion members whenever needed?)

So whenever a president would leave the session, his other members could still do work/missons or hang out with other members in the clubhouse.

Just like ceo at this time every single player has a club with most of all temporarily members in stead of nice build up clubs/family's.

 

Realistic thought? maybe not but i would really love this setup more then the way they did this now.

There are two different interiors for the clubhouses we can buy. There's a single story floor clubhouse, and a two story clubhouse.

 

But I had no idea about The Lost MC clubhouse having an interior now. Although it's heavily reusing assets from the user clubhouses, still cool to see.

Might aswell add some more fuel to the hype train:

 

Sanctus is a chopper, and has the acceleration meter full as stock. Upgrading the engine improves horse power, transmission for quicker gear shifting and turbo for more power.

Also, its turning radius is actually quite small, even though it's a chopper. Worth the $1.995.000 + ~$250.000 for upgrades? Absolutely. The uniqueness you get from it is magnificent. Red headlight w. paintable skull, wheelspin during acceleration, a unique backfire animation... Oh, and it's just as fast as a Cliffhanger. And that's fast for a chopper.

 

It's the same with the Shotaro; full acceleration as stock. Also, the Shotarto can outrun a Ha-ha-coochie-koo Drag, so expect every single bike race to be TRON themed with glowing bikes n' sh*t everywhere.

 

Edit: Also, the Shotaro is AWD.

The Vindicator is based on Honda NM4, which itself is inspired by Kaneda's bike from Akira.

 

The Shotaro is based on the Lotus C-01 (body), the Tron Legacy Light Cycle (mudguards, glowy bits), and Kaneda's bike (swing arm, and especially the bulbous wheel hubs), like all vehicles in the game it's a mashup of several ones from real life and other fiction.

Note that the Lotus C-01 and the Tron Legacy Light Cycle both have been designed by the same guy, Daniel Simon

 

You can also completely remove the mudguards from the Shotaro, making it look even more like Kaneda's bike, and other bikes The Capsules (Kaneda's biker gang) ride.

 

Edit: Also, the Shotaro is AWD.

Would be in tune with both the Tron Light Cycle and Kaneda's bike, both are AWD if I remember correctly, I know Kaneda's bike is, as early in the movie Tetsuo is going over the bikes features while Kaneda is in a bar, one of the things he mentions is "ceramic, double-rotor, two-wheel disk drive", it can also be seen while Kaneda drives the bike with an electrical charge coming off both wheels, indicating some kind of Electromagnetic Drive system powering both wheels. dont know how to do it but i know there is one, just now i was fighting a crew that keep teleporting back to the base to get jets.

How fast were they teleporting? Because you can legit go anywhere on the map in 30 second with a custom race. I still have all mine setup from the pre timer nerf mission grinding days.

What you want is called a Crew and has been around since the game first came out (longer actually with Max Payne 3). Go to R*s Social Club or there are crew recruitment threads on this forum. There are all kinds of crew including biker focused crews.

one of them were spawning next to me.

 

2 of the members werent doing the glitch and leader was teleporting back and forth to the base, stealing jets for them.

 

i message him "teleport much i see" and he confirmed he was using it "just for fun"
