I just can't wait for that Tron bike.....

 

It'd be nice if they let us buy the tron suit..... just so we can match the bike. But nah, another cool outfit restricted to a game mode I bet.

We're in luck - the in-game description, straight from Fun's Tweet:

 

"0xAA40ACDC = Adversary Mode Deadline is available. Play Deadline to unlock an exclusive vehicle and outfits for purchase."

 

So yeah, outfits and the bike. I'm guessing 'outfits' = multiple colour variations on that suit.

 

Hopefully just one game..... if it's win 25/50 games I might cry.

^^ I think it can be summed up in one sentence:

 

What the developers themselves want the game to look like, and what's beneficial for an open world game are two very different things... I believe only in the early days of GTA Online was it actually somewhat focused on the latter.

I've long said it comes down to one thing - they playtest against each other, maybe even in the same room. No squeakers, no AFK, no jet griefer, no houseplant IQs, and no lone wolfing. These things are given consideration, sure, but you only have to watch a R* free roam stream to see the result.

Do you think they'll actually make an interior for the tron mode? If they actually put effort into it, this will be going into my good adv mode list.

Three interiors were added in this update.

 

Two user clubhouses and the Lost clubhouse in LS. This mode will likely be outside.

in mpbiker files there are props for deadline which looks like cunning stunts ones

I find it strange they have removed "gb_vehicle_export" script.

Thought it was coming with this DLC, but I guess this means they have something planned for this december.

Actually I heard the Bikers was planned for this Dec, not sure what happened and caused them to release it early .. hmm maybe for hallo

GTA is a game willy-nilly about car theft. We can buy and sell things, now we sell drugs and counterfeit money, robbed banks in the assaults missing now ("gb_vehicle_export"), we'll steal cars, cars, finally, I think that will be the new DLC

And yes, Yellow, Green, Orange, Purple, Pink, Red, Blue, Gray, Cream, White, and Black are the available colors.

Basically Deadline is the same thing as the "Don't cross the line" minigame you can find in the CEO offices, but as an Adversary Mode, using the Tron looking bike and the Tron looking clothes, that you then unlock after playing / winning a game. Only thing I wonder is if it uses the topdown view I talked about a while ago (https://twitter.com/Yan2295/status/772596906333724672). If it does, then it's literally the same thing as Don't cross the line. Also curious to know what kind of maps and props will be used for this.

A solid black version of that would do nicely for a Street Hawk outfit.

 

...we just need the modified '84 Honda XR500 to go with it (or '83 Honda XL500 trailbike)...maybe even Tangerine Dream (no stranger to GTA V) could loan us some theme music (j/k).

 

Add some machine guns and mini-rockets, and you've got another nice addition to a Spy-themed DLC.
