Happy 5 years GTA Online!

5 years of crazyness, insanity, rages and all other emotions, damn, over 2300 hrs playing this game.

Saw the rise of this monster, how this game made part in the gaming r/evolution, how a hype for a game influenced people, we saw a evolution of a game:

 

From Owning Supercars like the Adder or the Enity XF to Owning state-of-art Hypercars like the Visione or the Tyrant.

From racing with sports cars over the Sewer to racing with super cars in the sky.

From cruising in Vespucci Beach with a Surfer or with a Bifta to crusing in Vinewood using rides like the Swinger or the Stafford.

From wreaking havok with a Armored Kuruma or a Lazer to wreaking havok by using a B-11 Strikeforce or a flying Broomstick.

From making money by ruining randoms drug dealings to making money doing special assasinations.

From making money in some Heists/Scores to making money by saving the whole World of a army of clones.

From having a little special cargo and products warehouse to sell to having a whole underground Bunker making weapons to sell.

From having to go in a Strip club to have fun to having a whole functional nightclub to have fun.

 

I can't forget when i created my character, i was suspended from the school and we decided to play in one of my friends house, 1st of October, 2013, 9AM, we brought a lot of Doritos, Coca-cola bottles and Bubbaloo bubble-gums. 3 TVs and 3 Xbox 360s 9:30 we started playing ... MAN ... that first cutscene, the race with Lamar, my first lobby which was playing I Don't Care Anymore (I didn't know that song was in the game), putting the Ballas down and getting that damn Schafter, robbing 24/7s, racing with Coquettes and Comets, playing that DM at the Port ... that day was insane, one of the best days in my life, yes we had that problems with servers early and all BUT ...

It was funny because i was like a liitle kid, i was amazed by the game, the details, the overall NPC's, cars, missions the adrenaline ... and after that ... i bought the Enhanced Edition for my XB1 and was once again amazed, the first-person mode, the new details, when i modified my Voodoo Custom, i lost almost a hour just looking at that ride, the combat, interacting in first-person, DAMN.

 

We come though a hell of a path to simple game with simple mechanics to a more complex game with a lot of things to do.

Even with bugs, questionable actions from Rockstar and annoying kids/tryhards we saw and played one of the best open-world games of the whole history.

 

Happy 5 years of GTA-Online fellas, maybe we can enjoy this game for 1 more year or something.

BUT PLEASE ROCKSTAR ... FIX THE DAMN SERVERS.

i wanted to play yesterday to celebrate this sparkly day hihihi but but but it couldn't download my fluffy character's files, so i couldn't. maybe the data was frozen, because it was so silky cold hihihi so:

GTAO Playerbase:Surely R will do something for the 5th anniversary on GTAO. Im pretty sure they'll do something special for us.

I recall getting $400,000 last year to celebrate 4 years. Or was it 40k? Either way, can't remember if it was exactly on the anniversary or if it took place a week or two after. R* do weird things like that. Hoping for 500k this time. 5mil would be better though...
