New XBox 1 player

I pre-ordered ordered the game on PS3 when it first came out, and beat it... So I'm not unfamiliar with the game.  I am, however, new to playing it on XBox...  And brand new to playing GTA online in general (I'm level 3).  I don't have any friends with an XBox One so have no one to play with.  I also don't have a mic. or headset (which is probably for the better because I play with my stereo loud), but I'm looking for someone to help me figure out this GTA Online thing and do some heists together with.

So I hit level...  13?  15?  Something like that.  I'm having trouble progressing through the "story" missions because of the reliance on other people.  Any suggestions?

As you have probably guessed GTA Online is a totally new world. You came to the right place. Are you willing to spend 25 bucks for 2 shark cards to get you off to a quick and good start? Ebay there is 1.25 million cards for $12 so get 2 and get the bunker and this week with double bunkers you can make millions and I can guide you if you want. The key to online is you need the right weaponry and realistically the best place to start is the Oppressor mkii with missiles and that will set you back quite a bit getting started but you can take a shortcut to the best if you take advantage of this weeks 2x money because you can make a lot of money this week. Make sure to buy the chumash bunker.
