TestingAcc Posted September 30, 2018 Share Posted September 30, 2018 Hello, I’ve recently thought about preordering RDR2 Special Edition but I will wait until the second trailer, most hands on previews make this game seem amazing. But I have a big problem. To make you understand lets say that I have two accounts, X and Y I use my X account MAINLY but I have always bought from my Y account (primary console) after I couldnt pay on my X account. I used to be able to pay from it with paypal and credit card but I removed it and put it back in and it stopped working (some say because it dont match country but it worked before). so now I use my Y account to pay instead, because IF i pay with my X account I have to buy psn cards which costs alot plus taxes. now I have to buy with my Y account instead or buy expensive cards. and my question is: If I preorder om my Y account will my X account get the preorder + edition bonuses (primary console)? You will be able to play the game on X after installing it on Y of course. But if that also goes for pre-order bonuses. I doubt it tbh. I would just contact PlayStation support. Im2akillerfish Posted October 1, 2018 Share Posted October 1, 2018 (edited) As long as the PS4 you're using is your "primary" PS4, all DLC is available for all accounts as far as I know. From my experience, everyone on your primary PS4 can use anything on the PS4 regardless of who bought it (PS+ being a possible exception, can't remember), but if you add your account to an another PS4 without changing the primary status, no-one else on said console can access your purchases. So all users on your "Primary PS4" can use all content downloaded to the console, but on any "Secondary PS4s" only you can use your stuff.
