Paramedic Mission

I am desperately trying to finish the paramedic mission in Portland. However, I either run out of time or get blown up. The Triads are the only gang that hate me so far. What do I do? Should I do it in Staunton?

If you're on PC you can use mini-commander so the triads don't attack you anymore. You can also use the ultimate trainer to create an invincible ambulance and disable the countdown.

It may be tricky to do in the beginning but the method is really efficient. You won't run over anyone and your Ambulance won't blow up.

If you're not too far in your game progress I would suggest starting a new game and doing the mission in the beginning when Portland is safe. Portland has the best road layout and it's the only island where no gang is hostile against you in the beginning of the game.

This is 100% correct, and is how I always complete Paramedic.

You can already teleport to the hidden packages which is much more interesting.

That method is a gigantic pain in the ass and far more trouble than it's worth. Paramedic is made much, much harder by any gang hostilities so I second what the poster above said about restarting the game and doing it first.

 

That said, players on PC and Xbox have it easy: the ambulance gains a little health on successful completion of each level. On PS2 this doesn't happen.

Thanks for all the advice, guys, but I finally did it without any cheats or glitches! Extremely proud of myself and never really thought I would be able to do it. Once again, thank you all.

I was going to say, just do it. Triads are not near as bad as the Mafia later in the game :D

I still have to pass paramedic at least once. In my ol PS2 with no glitches or cheats. I have a game with 99% I guess I will have to try it on SI or start a new game and redo all the job only to do paramedic early on Portland. I'd prefer my driving license test than paramedic on GTA 3.

Should have created a starter save. This side mission will pretty much be almost impossible. My recommendation would be to restart your save.
