Well, when they literally join our lobbies in order to destroy product and ruin the lobby, well, you can't expect mercy from us.

 

I mean, attacking a lobby full of players with the same crewtag, then complaining about said players ganging up on you is having a complete lack of self-awareness.

 

Thankfully, this is a thing of the past, we haven't seen a single random in days on our lobbies and that's good!

I mean, I wouldn't say "ruin" the lobby, maybe he is just looking for some friendly competition and then ends up being spawn killed by like 7 people.  You should try 1v1ing them into oblivion, that when they really lose it.

I mean, spawning their Deluxos and Oppressors Mk II so they can destroy cargo without skill is not exactly friendly competition.

 

I'm more than capablr of dealing with a tryhard, the thing is that we don't want to deal with them, we want to distract them from sales taking place and drive them away from the lobby by either kicking them or making them leave.

 

Tryhards are not above using underhanded tactics, so why do we should? We're not even a PvP crew, we're a grinding one, we just want to be left alone, which as I previously mentioned, we finally managed to.

That is part of the competition, preventing the cargo to be destroyed by killing them first, or setting up an ambush. That's exactly what I meant. You may not be a PvP crew, but it's all fair. That's a nice challenge isn't it? All of that falls under skill. I've managed to fend off other groups of players alone.

You may have to be ignorant to not realize that other people do want the competition, and will instigate by destroying cargo. It's part of the game you know?

I wouldn't exactly call it competition because only one party has something to lose.

 

While I used to enjoy defending our sales when the lobby got overrun, lately I got quite tired of it because of the lack of variety. Only jets, Deluxos and Oppressors Mk II up the wazoo.

 

The high from actually managing to make a sale against the odds gets numbed quickly because of how repetitive and derivative people get when trying to destroy your sales.

If you 1v1, both parties have nothing to lose, and it's still a competition. Both parties do not have to lose something for it to be an official competition. It's just rivalry. 

 

It sounds to me like you're tired of the game. Maybe take a break? Play the sims? I have all type of players come at me, Deluxos and Jets are just the icing of the rush.

Uhh, when I did said I was tired of the game? I said I was tired of the state of PvP in Freeroam. I still like proper Deathmatches, Racing and helping my crew mates. I want to give a shot to the R* Creator and Editor. This game has more scope than simple, repetitive, mindless PvP all the time.

 

Also, why everyone comes up with The Sims as an alternative? I mean, you can actually kill people in those games too.

If you're implying that I'm not playing GTA correctly because I don't want to bother with the pissing contest that is PvP on Freeroam, no offense, but you're wrong.

 

After all, racing and golf are actual PvP modes too.

I don't know where you got that, but no. I'm not implying that. I've mentioned that this game has a lot of freedom. Especially since IV and the portable versions.

The best solution probably would be if it works the same way it works in TDM, ADV. Modes, etc: EWO, you lose one kill on the score and it counts on K/D.

T-shirts, lol. Ever since San An at least, I indeed have been playing 'sims dress up' here, lol. (#thatsdemonicbaby!). Among many other things of course. No need to change to GT to race, no need to play COD to fight, no need to play The Sims either.

 

And as much as other areas grew with following games or content, so did the customising And role play potential. (And RDR2 looks like it's back to the San An days too with eating, rotting food, getting fat, beards and hopefully so much more. Soon could be playing 'Sims dress up - Cowboy Edition' lol).

I'm sorry, but it's a horrible thread and horribly written.

 

There are many people who go after other players for the hell of it, and you have to decide whether to react to that or become that type of player yourself. The secret is mentally deciding whether this is a good tactic for you from a fun / making money perspective. If it's not fun or lucrative then don't do it.

 

There are times, however, when you just want to go about your business but can't because of a naive player who grabs an Oppressor Mk II and has a go. It happened to me last night - an unarmed Dune Buggy that blew up after a single hit, except the attacker was so inept he shipped 15 deaths at my hands for his petty, weak and paltry 1-15 hero mission. What's even the point? I lost 4/5 arms shipments and he got rage killed by me until he finally left the session.

Yup, R* need fixed this sad mistake, when statnerds abuse suicide without punish.

Just call them a pussy for killing themselves and annoy them as much as possible. Go passive as soon as they do it and walk away unless you plan to use the same methods..  Passive pop them. Go passive and annoy them or ignore them until they get distracted and then passive pop them. Just keep blowing yourself up and never give them a chance to kill you. I have drone killed a few of these guys as well. So beautiful. 

 

 

Personally I like this method because it gets rid of the cops as well which are a constant hassle. But I don't kill anyone unprovoked.

I don't see how any of that has explained how comparing GTA and the Sims shows someone up.

 

The way some choose to play GTA is extremely sim like. There is a clear comparison between the two.

 

How does pointing out the comparison show anyone up? You're laughing it off as being a stupid comparison without giving any kind of reason why it's a stupid comparison, I suspect in an attempt to belittle the comment because you do not want to accept that you/some people play GTA as a life simulation game.
