steeljacket488
As we can see with the last Bison pic Rockstar gave us a few days ago, the black Buffalo taking center stage in the pic is a cow, she has a set of teats that we can see. In the first RDR 2 trailer we can see a train scattering the Buffalo herd. In the lower right you can see a 8 to 12 month old calf keeping pace with what appears to be its mother. So has anyone caught any more animal young, What are your guys, and gals thoughts on this. And thanks again Rockstar for the little things that make your games great. Below is a pic of a buffalo cow and yearling. https://www.bigstockphoto.com/image-169241156/stock-photo-bison-buffalo-cow-and-yearling-in-pelican-creek-grassland-in-yellowstone-national-park-in-wyoming-u-s-a Edited September 27, 2018 by steeljacket488 ivarblaauw
ivarblaauw
As I see it, they have created an entire wildlife system. Young, young adult, adult, old. For both humans as other animal species.
CrimsonFolo
I would think the larger animals would be more likely to have young. Like Bears might have cubs they protect but i think that the smaller the animal, the less likely it is to have younger versions of it implemented in the game. Either that or only farm animals will have young. Flannelmagic1

But then again large farm animals may well have young too. Edited September 27, 2018 by steeljacket488

Not sure on horses however as you can rope and break them, would be bad to have a colt fallow you home, crying after this mother the hole way. So horses I doubt. Would be cool though.
