jezebelletooner
I don’t understand why so many vehicles can’t be stored in a personal garage/hangar/facility. in a game so full of randomness, there’s kinda some ironic—like—officiality with these vehicles you basically lease from this “Pegasus.” whats up with this? Also, why can’t the game itself give a simple description (as opposed to dry humor of the 3rd degree) of weaponozed vehicles? Willy A. Jeep
Pegasus was the system used to serve players their oversized and weaponized vehicles back when the game first came out. This was when players could only have a single property, there were no offices, hangars, bunkers, warehouses, et cetera. The vehicles ordered from the Mechanic were actually driven by an NPC - and very poorly at that. There's no doubt that the game's ease-of-use quality assurance is non-existent, and Rockstar has, so far, been very reluctant to go back and fix even tiny issues with old content. Pegasus is a relic of a time when the game was a lot different, and, like a lot of the features, has been mostly superseded by better (or, sometimes, worse) alternatives. It's very much a mess and I can't help but recommend players not even bother trying to play into Rockstar's weird paywall game and just enjoy Online with friends. It's far more enjoyable that way. Thanks for info. i do agree that playing the actual missions is more enjoyable than some of the open-world stuff. LOL, but yeah a few weeks ago (in general I’m brand-new to GTA5) I bought a monster truck from Warstock (cuz it said it was armored)... of course it is not. And I have to order one vehicle (or steal or run) just to reach my stupid Pegasus monster truck which has probably been the single dumbest purchase in the game (but could have been sweet with upgrades). Summed up perfectly. R* should, for the next update just streamline everything, fix all bugs, glitches etc, open up more interiors and just polish off the game rather than do another whole DLC. As each DLC comes out, it makes previous features all a bit haphazard and the game becomes more messy that only experienced gamers who have been playing it since 2013 will understand. I can't imagine the utter confusion and chaos that new players must experience when going online. _Celldweller, Ceeohthree and Yellow Dog with Cone

Because there is the GTA wiki, appreciation threads on this forum, and a million reviews of varying quality on YouTube to tell you everything about every aspect of the game and its vehicles. Quick lesson: do some research before throwing your money away.

Pegasus Lifestyle Management is a relic of the original 2013 game, back then the development team had a complete different vision for Online and it's Free roam mode. Armed, armored and overpowered vehicles like the old Rhino couldn't be delivered next to you like a personal vehicle would, you had to call Pegasus and go retrieve them...And their spawn points were heavily limited. Beyond that, Pegasus was also the default for vehicles that are too big to fit in our garages, which is where the monster truck you bought fits in, making their use much of a hassle. Sure it would be nice to get these Pegasus vehicles stored in our hangars so we could order them next to us and maybe even allow us to customize them, but sadly, R* devs are either too lazy, uncaring or incompetent to revisit Pegasus coding and rewrite it...In fact, it's a well known fact around here that they deliberately don't fiddle and tweak with old content to make it better because the game's coding itself is a mess and any changes to it can get something unrelated broken, I mean just compare how long it takes to spawn our personal vehicles and how long it takes to spawn a CEO Buzzard, that's because the coding from spawning Personal Vehicles is from 2013 with slight changes dating back to 2014, and the CEO has a new and much superior coding added in 2015. elfoam
Stop playing the game now before it's too late.. Actually it's too late already. We all should have stopped playing in 2015. jezebelletooner
The monster truck actually is riotously fun to drive over mountains, but not very useful overall.

Honestly, they should've done this 2 years ago. Pegasus verhicles are insurance free as well. Back in the day, one could actually defend himself if attacked by a hydra, rhino or Insurgent Pickup. Personal Vehicles where not militarized at all. The Gunrunning came and suddenly, there where weaponized PV's driving around, of course insuranced, so now you have to pay ~20k if you defend yourself. Arrows to Athens
Not mention that they are unable to spawn my requested vehicle and refund me 50 percent of the time. Ridiculous.

This was what this so called "business consolidation" update was meant to, but we ended up with an AFK simulator, a poor excuse of an A-10, a flying bike that no one asked for, a silly truck and lots of paywalls, or course. A Quality of Life update is just as probable as R* adding a Comet Classic without bullsh*t on it to the game, aka, never.
