I just hope that I will be able to preload whole thing before 26th of October and that day one patch will not have 10GB...

My internet connection is really bad and when I download 1.5MB/s I am happy. And as Blasterm said, I will gladly delete everything just to play this game...

Game is not 105gb. Its just over 50gb and then there's a 3gb patch.

The game itself isn't 105 gigs you need 105 to install it but once the game is installed it's only gonna allocate around 50 gigs..

No, that's not true at all. 

Just like Black ops IIII,  Red Dead Redemption II will be 100-105 GB.

Black Ops 4 is 55 gigabytes, 55 to download/copy and another 55 to install which in is in total 110 but once the operation is done the download gets deleted.

Yea nevermind, I just noticed that too.

 

Red Dead Redemption II, is probably going to be 60 GB then.

Anyways the "day 1" patch for RDR2 is around 5 gigs believe, as someone I know on twitter managed to get of hold of the PS4 .pkg file from the playstation servers  and has asked me if I knew how to decrypt it on PC. 

 

I assumed to files in it are encrypted and are not readable yet. expect leaks if the update contains any.

why do people not read?
 

all ps4 gamecases list double the size because it needs double the size free to install on ps4. is this your first videogame?:)

 

so its not 105gb and never was.

 

the size of 88gb on xbox is the real size as it does not need double the size free on xbox,and rockstar actually uploaded the game to microsoft servers. but the size shown is very likely including the 4K assets of around 30GB as happened with other preorders showing the size with them included. So the game for base consoles is likely exactly fitting on a disc with around 50GB! Plus likely a day 1 patch of 2, 3 or 5 gb Hope this helped.

 

and yeah there might be some size differences between ps4 and xbox base consoles, as well as pro and X, but they probably wont be very large its because of the different hardware
