RDR Online KD ratio??

One of the reasons griefers grief and tryhards try hard in GTAO is because they wanna flex their KD and "intimidate" other players. Do you think RDRO will carry over the KD system, or will it be cut from the game in an effort to limit insane amounts of tryahrds? Obviously, they will exist either way, but taking out the KD system would definitely take the fun out for a lot of cowboy tryhards. What do you guys think? Has anyone heard anything?

The K/D system should be taken out from Freemode tbh or atleast include your own suicides/getting killed by NPCs. I'm pretty sure the tryhards would always kill themselves after getting a kill so this could counter those tryhards to an extent. It makes sense to have a K/D system in Deathmatches, grab the bag etc...

 

But tbh, there probably won't be jets or tanks or futuristic sh*t in the online (Like Hydras, LAZER jets etc...) and if the combat is mainly gunplay then i don't think there will be as many tryhards (From my experience, they usually like to go for safe or easy kills which is why they used the jets so much in GTA Online)

Surprisingly, there was a K/D ratio in RDR's multiplayer. You just had to go into Social Club to see it.

Use their tactics against them, no matter how much it may be against your very being as a human. In the last of my GTAO days, I adapted to their PVP style. I became just as dirty as them with my tactics. It took some of the frustration down by doing that. 

 

I'm not worried about RDR becoming like GTAO in terms of those types of people. You'll be surprised at how skillful most of the RDR Multiplayer Veterans are, especially in Hardcore. When a problematic player enters into our beloved game, they got dealt with very quickly. The same will happen in RDR2 Online.

My KD will never make the headlines but my hopes are that the hardcore free roam sessions will be single action only.  I mean if it's like they say where we'll be cocking and firing the 6 shooters(which is a great idea IMO), the semi-autos will make them all obsolete.

As long as there is a stat screen, there will be K/D. Regardless if it's an actual stat. If kills and deaths are shown, one could just figure it out. To battle this, I say make ALL kills and deaths (NPC and Player) count towards one stat. That way, no one will know what the actual player vs player K/D is, since it could be padded by NPCs.

 

Edit: "Look at my legit 195857227.47 K/D... I swear, I haven't killed one NPC."

@Fennimoe I quite like that idea. I'd also add a suicide stat. So every EWO (if it's back) and "accidental" death is also counted.

Not holding my breath but I hope Winchesters are 2 shot-kill, max.

The only reason I want to play this online is to rob and kill other players. Of course kd will be a thing, and honestly as a gta tryhard I actually hope they improve pvp, make blowing yourself up count against kd, strafe a bit slower in first person, no op nonsense vehicles, I want balanced pvp.

You're a tryahard, but you want all tryhard tactics eliminated? Huh?

I want fair pvp, I honestly enjoy my marksman/heavy sniper straffing fights with other tryhards in gta, but I don't enjoy blowing myself up all the time because my enemy does. I target other tryhards and fight just like them so I assume im a tryhard but yes I want more balanced pvp.

No gtfoh. I don't want no 1v1 death matches either. We should be able to duel though that would fit in with the theme of the game. I don't understand how they didn't have that in the last rdr.
