Trashtalking them

This is probably the worst thing you can do unless you want the griefer to focus all his attention on you specifically. Acknowledging the griefer in any way only gives him fuel to continue griefing.

I spend most of my time in freemode so I'm pretty much just always keeping an eye on the map to see if anyone is acting suspicious. If I get a bad feel in the beginning I just switch sessions. Works 60% of the time all the time. :p

If I lose cargo I just switch lobbies. I don't go on a vendetta. Time is too precious to be spending on killing. There's crates that need to be collected!

I play the same way. But sometimes I wish I could get revenge. I have no idea what my k/d ratio is even at now.

If it's in the free roam part of the map and I don't have any of my crew with me, I just leave. I don't have the time to waste on those idiots nor the money to blow on restocking ammo. If I'm with friends in a lobby, we gang up and harass them, even if we get killed more than we kill them.

If it's in a race, I'll stick them in the wall, run them off the course, or...my personal favorite, I win the race.

Usually the Hunter, unless I'm not in the mood.

I don’t, I start crying and just close the game, after I got their ip addresses and reported them to the police ;) good night 🌃

I snapped recently.

I do not go after anyone in Freemode, I treat it the same way as GTA4, but I'm smart enough to stay the hell away from everyone. If someone kills me, I just lay into them until they go passive (it's what it's there for) or quit the session. But with tryhards? I found that the Oppressor Mk2 and Scramjet has crippled tryhards and griefers, they've almost given up with any kind of combat other than lock-on missles or trying to run me over with their broomstick. If I see one coming towards me on the map I just bail out of my vehicle and ready myself. 5% of the time they're just passing by by coincidence, the other 95% of the time they come to a complete stop, annoyed with the fact they can't use their lock-on missles to get a kill, then sit there, thinking about what other methods of combat they have any form of skill in. In that time however, I've already filled them full of lead from a rifle and they're back on the ground.

That's where the First Person View, BST and Marksman Rifle comes in. I've found that tryhards CANNOT callout their most "skillful" method being used against them since its the only way they could get their K/D up after the Explosive Sniper clipped their Hydra wings. Furthermore because they spend all their time as MC President to reload their OppMk2, they can't switch over to CEO to buy BST without leaving themselves completely exposed, and they can't risk getting killed even once.

Turn that passive mode, get a khanjali, off radar, disable passive mode, blast them, passive again, find new sessions, wait for salty messages

(If they're turned out to be in jets, bring your akula)

They deserved that passive abusive method...

i'm not good at combat, so when someone tries to give me a hard time, i just invite all my Tryhard buddies to give that person a hard time. communication settings are always set to "friends only", so i never get "charming" messages. problem solved.

I generally only go into public lobbies when I have guns and/or nightclub goods to sell and then I soloize the public lobby first. I have no patience for idiocy in any of its forms.

I make tryhards rage quit or they end up in passive and the griefers get griefed into submission.

If they manage to get a kill on me I usually kill them twice then go passive and let them rage. How do I kill them? By using their own strats against them, be it the facility, passive toggling or whatever. Do I become the tryhard griefer at that point? Probably, but I still only attack people when they had it coming for them, by either attacking me or driving vehicles with anime liveries.

The problem with messaging any of these degenerates is if you call them a dickhead then they can get you a two week communications ban which is ridiculous as it’s like the people that will get you banned are trolls.

Generally ignore and avoid. If it's someone who looks like they've got a point to prove / trying to compensate for real life failings, I nuke them with the orbital cannon.

Goes passive and stalk them the entire time. Get so paranoid that every time you go near them they kill them selves.

This cracks me up every time, some weeks ago I did this to a tryhard, just stood by him in passive while scrolling on my (real-life) phone, and every time I looked up he was tripping around on his toes constantly aiming at me lol. He must’ve thought I’d passive pop, which I never do.

These kids really should try relaxants haha

even better than passive, if you have a bodyguard in your org, is the VIP challenge 'most wanted' -- which basically puts your org in passive, PLUS you have 5 wanted stars, and are surrounded by LSPD and Noose, who will troll the tryhard for you, while you sit in your Armored Kuruma or Khanjali and sip a bevvy or dab or whatever.     usually they'll realize they can't get you, but you can follow them around the map and salt their game if they're trying to mess with other players, too.

ten minutes of fun, unless somebody wins the challenge, and in the case of a two-player tie it's a 20K payout, as well.

It gets even better when they start to rpg the ground hoping the fire will kill you. This prompts me to msg them with “LOL you must be new.”

I use several tactics. It all depends on how good (or dirty) they are.

If I haven't finished with my sales, I'll either split the session or go to story mode and join another session.

If I have nothing better to do I'll engage, but on my own terms. I don't go to them, they have to come to me.

If I find their tactics dirty or underhanded. I'll go into "hard to kill mode". Teleporting via heist invite, hit and run tactics and the like.

If their tactics include passive popping and orbital strikes (while using exploit), then I'll just pester them. A mugger here, Strike Team there, follow them around in passive, etc. if I can see they are trying to just get rid of me I stay in as long as I can until they leave or I absolutely have to go.

Although anymore it's usually me that is being a pain in the ass in the lobby.

Best decision.
