Club Popularity - Week 9/25 Promotion

Tez tweeted today saying that this week we "lose 5% (0.25% with Equipment upgrades) of Nightclub Popularity every 48 minutes. I did the extended math on the Equipment Upgrades scenario, and I'll summarize. I'd like a sanity check on this thought process.

 

The Gold Popularity Trophy is unlocked at 11.2 hours at or above 90%. I've heard two things, continuous 11.2 hours at 90%, and sum of 11.2 hours at 90%. I honestly don't know what the truth is.

 

If you lose 0.25% every 48 minutes, then you'll lose 3.5% after 672 minutes (11.2 hours). So, if you start at 100%, you'll be at 96.5% by the time you reach 11.2 hours, thus unlocking the Gold trophy. It will take 1,920 minutes (32 hours) before you drop 10% (hit 90% if you start at 100%).

 

So basically, if you reach 100% this promotional week, and just stay online for 672 minutes, you'll earn the Gold trophy. Is this accurate?

Actually, I was wrong about that.

It's 2.5% every 48 minutes if you have the Staff upgrade.

You'll lose 35% of your popularity after waiting for 11.2 hours.

You have to do a promo mission every 3 hours and 12 minutes to maintain your popularity over 90% or you could rehire DJs.

3 hours and 11 minutes -> Refill or rehire one DJ

6 hours and 23 minutes -> Refill or switch to your favorite DJ

9 hours and 35 minutes -> Refill or rehire another DJ

At this point, you'll lose 10% after 3 hours and 12 minutes (12 hours and 24 minutes) and you would have unlocked the trophy by the time you reach that point.
