It's just one of those lil' things that plagues the game really. If you don't need or chase money, you must be a modder or cheat. It's the go-to all too often.

 

Don't get me wrong, an easy score is always welcome, but the game's been out for years too. Easily forgotten by some.

 

Though I do love this variety on here and out there. That part won't get old for a while yet, probably need a new GTA too, lol.

If you already have a sufficient amount of cash I don't really understand why you'd be grinding these jobs this week unless you're saving up for something. Playing a few a day just for gameplay value is understandable but actively grinding them just to see your virtual bank account rise? 

 

Technically, solo players are left out to some extend. First of all, the mandatory public sessions joining. Second of all, the need for more than 1 player to get some missions done. Gunrunning deliveries with 4 vehicles and 1 player? Not gonna happen anytime soon. Of course, there are tricks to get stuff done, but the game is not designed to facilitate the solo player in all aspects. With this DLC and the current bonusses, they are. Doing a good money/rank grind solo has never been easier, or possible without a laggy connection as it is now. 

True, grinding them is not really an everyday thing, but getting the most out of this event is not wrong. Boring at the end, perhaps and ready to kill Paige too, but it's still worth it to a lot of players out there. See, if they release a free car you like to have, eventhough your bankaccount is close to exploding, you'll get the free version. With double money grinds, cars you wanna have kind of become free too, with a bit of imagination.

Not everyone has the time to grind out $800.000, just because you did does not mean everyone else has. Just because you don't find this week profitable does not mean no-one else does as well.

Also why are people getting so offended by me assuming he glitched or hacked his money when I explained my reasoning as him quoting the word money. Why did he need to do that unless it was to convey something other than what was written or be sarcastic.

That said, you gotta agree it's just such a common 'joke' for folk to assume those with money cheated it all. It's just petty crap that don't need saying to make a point over weather the weeks bonuses are good or not, you know.

Excuse me? You don't seem to understand what I am saying. I never said certain people are not rolling in hundreds of millions. I said everyone, as in all players new or old should have enough money to live comfortably for a while.

You seem to think that I am calling everyone who plays this game poor and taking offence at my imagined slight towards you. You enjoy your digital bank balance, no-one is stopping you.

Out of all the "double" things they've had with Nightclub popularity, I like this double slow popularity going down best.

I can play over 3 hours doing something else, and get 40k still before it's time to do a mission. It almost acts like double money too in that sense, lol.

It’s nice, I agree. But I don’t care much about the money, however, it’s very good for my OCD to be able to do other stuff and not have to worry about the popularity meter being under 50% when I get back. Having it at >95% makes me feel whole and satisfied.

Ah, yeah. You're right. I forgot about that. That's indeed another 815k added. Oh well, a 2 day casual grind will fix the complete bill and then starts to make a good profit. 

Even without the double bonus, it's a very wise investment.

Totally get your points dude. These pay great, and the RP is handy for my rank 1k quest.

 

Just it's a bit strong of an investment for newer gamers, especially with other businesses being ideal to link up. For some that don't enjoy the business side to GTA:O too, they're just 6 very expensive to buy into VIP jobs.

 

Wouldn't have hurt to make the Terrorbyte available as a Pegasus vehicle so more can choose their toys/missions, you know. (Maybe set the NC like the hangar and then if people want to put the OP MKII in it, then they must buy into storage to add a workshop/mechanic).

 

Just thinking out loud and as I went there, lol. Just more potential to mix things up I mean.

All the mindless grinding to upgrade the terrorbyte finally paid off. Grinded the hell out of the life invader job and ran the bunker for stock which I never really did before. Bought the nero, tyrant, op mk2, and pyro this week. It would be great if they continued this again next week.

Well I just did some searching, double checked by looking at my vehicle list in a Heist lobby lol Didn't have the Tyrant so I decided to go ahead and snatch that up, 800k saved is quite a reasonable discount... I couldn't resist, the car's pretty nice too after driving it around.

 

Only thing I don't have on discount atm is the Comet SR..... and I have NO interest in buying it. They'd have to pay ME to get that piece of sh*t lmao

I gotta hand it to R* on this one, they made a good event. 

 

- Bought a Drone station for the T truck.

- Bought Strikeforce.

- Bought Lazer.

- Bought Banshee. (3rd purchase was the charm for a clean one).

- Got my Nero back.

- Did a bunch of crew colors.

- Upgraded the engine bays of 3 Benny vehicles.

- Got a new Vanity plate for my Cavalcade.

- Bought a boat load of Gunrunning supplies.

 

I leveled up 16 times & I'm 11 million dollars richer than I was last Tuesday.

 

 

Best of all? It didn't feel like a grind at all! I truly enjoyed it.

 

The Buzzard & Strikeforce had the Headhunter duty, & the cars handled everything else. I took cars I haven't seen in months for rides. I got reacquainted with older cars (Banshee, Cavalcade ... etc), bonded with cars I was indifferent about it (Rapid GT Classic, Elegy Custom ... etc) & hated some (Slamvan Custom & Comet SR).

 

Its been a productive week.

 

Oh & Paige can go #[email protected]& herself.

Awesome they extended the double $ on client jobs.  I have been busy with life and didn’t buy a Terrobyte until Saturday night.  Easy 60k a mission for 5-10 minutes work.  With gunrunning and nightclub running in the background this is a big money week on the level of double $ for IE. 

 

I personally don’t have a lot of cash. After splurging on my nightclub and terrorbyte and buying a few biker businesses to max out nightclub product I’m only at 1 million.   I really welcome weeks like this because i tend to spend money as I earn it.

For me, the Op MkII is on sale. Bought another one, upgraded it and sold my first one=profit. 

The Menacer is also on sale. Bought it for the looks and it appears to be quite a fun drive too. 

And yet another week of double$ is pretty amazing. Like R* doesn't want you to buy fishy money anymore. It's gonna be another good week for those who can do with good money, be it a day#1 player or a noob. Kaching!!!

I made a bit over 11 mil last week, and I'm on vacation this week and next, the double Client Job payouts are really sweet (and I don't use that word lightly!).

With Paige's funtimes, some VIP jobs, and throwing in nightclub and bunker sales I can make 1 mil in around 3.5 hours easy, no more draggy I/E jobs.
