Patriot mods aren't bad, welcome addition. However, stock things like the original lights, the chrome sidesteps and the ram guard seem to f*ck off as soon as you enter LSC and change something in that category.

 

The 2x client job is a god send. Easy 60k for 4 minutes of work? I'll take that.

 

The discounts on the Pyro and the B11 are , definitely picking those vehicles up.

 

Lazer discount is cool, but not enough to catch my attention for long. If it was 200k cheaper than the Hydra it might be worth it for a new character.

Wrong, they disappear as you drive in. Typical Rockstar not allowing existing mods to be used. I hope everyone with the all-mods version has already upgraded theirs or they're screwed.

Just find someone with a Terrorbyte and you can make a million in a hour. Everyone should be rolling in at least five million this week. Its even easier than double I/E and that was incredibly lucrative.

It's like pussy. When you know you had to go out of your way to get it, you appreciate it more. Nobody brags about the one everybody has or can get. Never thought the Romero Hearse would be like the rest of these hoes.

Like I said though, if you're a veteran I don't see how you could be more than a tad bit happy at this event week. Sure, it's solid money but I don't think any of us are really starving for money at this point in the game's lifecycle. Or I'd hope not anyway.

Agreed but a week where its even easier to make money is nothing to be scoffed at and like I said, not everyone even Day One players or "Veterans" are swimming in money. You may be but not everyone has as much time as you.

I can't stand players who say oh 'you modded or glitched money' and it's just sad that even veterans and high levels making these accusations. 

 

I have made right about $800 legit million in game, right now I have almost $400 million all legit in bank. 

 

I'll be dammed if I do any client jobs or anything grindy right now.

I wish our community was lively enough for this; if it was, "finding players" and "crew recruitment" sections should be buzzing with exactly this kind of invitation by advanced or even veteran players that have this equipment, and eagerly sought after by new players that don't. Yet nothing of the kind has impacted said sections. This is not meant as irony or sarcasm. I'm genuinely not sure what to think of that. Everybody, old and new gamers alike complain - rightfully - over the sad condition of freemode business and unbalanced PvP and too little PvE opportunities, and now we have an excellent PvE offer on the table, nobody seems interested.

Please take no offense, I don't say this as challenge, but out of genuine interest in this reaction. Where does "hope" come into this? The offer was quite obviously aimed at very new players, since we all are aware that most but the very recently started players will very likely own a Terrorbyte already. We also know that somewhere around 20 M GTA-$ grinding becomes less relevant.
It makes me rather sad that indeed there are in many threads quite often very few reactions by newer players, it's always the same "old gents" stating how irrelevant everything is. 

So are one day soon only the rich and bored left in this forum, quarreling over the show like Statler and Waldorf from their balcony seats?

As if everyone here is in dire need of money or something when that's clearly not the case. I know these bonuses are aimed at newer players so don't make it seem like it should be a big deal to everyone when it's not. Only to those that are looking to make some money.

 

Making money just to make money has never been something that's appealed to me. Sure it's nice to see things like this doubled to add gameplay value to this already stale game for us veterans and I hope we see bonuses on PvE friendly jobs more often but money is hardly the reason for my joy when jobs like these get doubled. I'm in it for the gameplay at this point and while client jobs offer a nice change of pace, they're hardly something I see myself doing over and over unless I really needed the money. Unlike something like heists where I'd gladly play them over and over if they were doubled just for the gameplay alone. The money would just be a bonus.

In all fairness, I am a day 1 player myself, but the cash bonus this week is more than welcome and I'm taking good advantage of it, because I am by far swimming in it. GTA:O has a good few ways to play and not everyone is focused on businesses day by day. Some like to dilly-waddle around more than grinding cargo sales. So, this being aimed at newer players doesn't fly. Maybe for some part, but definately not a given. It is a lot more aimed at the solo player, who's been left out for most of the time this game is running. Being able to do all the grinding and to actually put your businesses to some use, it all points more to that direction than newer players. 

So yeah, solo players catchup week for sure.

Ok but solo players have been able to easily get into solo public sessions for business grinding so they're not really left behind as you're making it seem. Some, maybe.

 

If you already have a sufficient amount of cash I don't really understand why you'd be grinding these jobs this week unless you're saving up for something. Playing a few a day just for gameplay value is understandable but actively grinding them just to see your virtual bank account rise?
