gognitti
Hi! i know that too many people had problems running gta-sa on windows 7, more then they tried to run it under 64 bits version of this OS. some said that problem was with windows DEP, also said that using compatibility mode random crashes get solved, but there are people that even doing this cannot play gta-sa or got some random crashes, well i had a solution to that. just follow this tips: 1- update your video drivers to latest (by example i using a gma 965 with latest 64-bits drivers from intel) 2- update direct x to at least jun-2010 (can be found here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109) 3- MOST IMPORTANT: DO NOT use ripped versions of game. You must have ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE MEDIA (INSTALLATION DVD). Else you cannot run this game due to securom protection 4- DO A COMPLETE INSTALLATION (including radio stations). If you don't install it using FULL instalation, game crashes when intro end 5- Disable DPI Scale, desktop composition and visual themes 6- CHECK RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR 7- TRY TO NOT USE TRAINERS* OR TOO MUCH CHEATS (app will fail due to unexpected changes on memory) * gta sa crazy trainer 2.41 run well with 1.00 version of game (i didn't tested 1.01 update) 8- If you still having problems, check Windows XP SP2 compatibility on compatibility tab NOTE: DON'T USE DEP BECAUSE IT DON'T MAKE ANY IMPORTANT CHANGE, ONLY USE IT IF ALL THIS POINTS DOESN'T WORKS FOR YOU Edited September 25, 2018 by lil weasel
