Cannot find body armor in ammunition in GTA Lcs

Are you talking about the Ammunation from Portland? Because this store only sells pistol and uzi and only the Ammunation in Staunton Island has armor for sale.

 

BTW here's a map with armor locations for LCS, you may find it useful if you need armor early in game: http://en.wikigta.org/wiki/Body_armor_(GTA_Liberty_City_Stories)

 

Alternatively, try collecting at least 30 hidden packages and you will have body armor always available at safehouse, though you may need to wait until Staunton Island is unlocked because some packages from Portland are unobtainable until later in game, so you can only get around 20-25 at most if you are still in Portland.
