[SA] Questions on reverse-engineering the SA executable

Hello everybody, I've recently been trying to modify SA's executable, to separate the weapon sounds (The two sounds that are used for one weapon, usually each one) and give every single weapon their own unique weapon sound, though I'm having trouble with this. I use a pirated version of IDA Pro, and Fastman's ida file doesn't have the code I'm looking for when I press F5 in the desired area (Doesn't even work when I press F5, have to go into the menu to do it). Is there anybody who is experienced who could help me? I've been having quite the lack of luck with my first shot of this. (Also, Sannybuilder's files are all seen as made using pirated version of IDA, so I'm unable to use those) If anybody has any questions, feel free to ask
