[PS4] Error CE 34878-0 when joining GTAO

For the past serveral weeks I've been having issues while playing GTAO where an error screen randomly appears (strangely I can still hear the gameplay happening non-interrupted in the background) before I am forced to close the application. Fast-forward to yesterday and I decide to initialise the PS4 and reinstall GTA to hopefully rid the errors once and for all. Despite this, attempts to join ANY public GTAO session result in an error code CE 34878-0 which forces the application to close, now rendering me unable to play Online at all.

 

However, single players works fine without any errors and I can still access certain components of Online, such as creator mode and Solo sessions. 

 

My next move is to try accessing my Online character from another PS4 system, however any assistance in the meantime would be appreciated.
