I think for me, the best incentive is already here. Some great ideas mind, always would welcome more variety in missions.

These being invite/solo session stuff, just something I hadn't expected since public only came.

What's the big deal if the promo missions themselves are so boring lol

I'm not sure I follow dude, lol. I enjoy them and they're no different to the million other things we do really. Just plodding along spamming all sorts of jobs and such. (Even been doing Adv. Modes, lol).

Had they been public only, I'd have not done more than the DJ job. Long past even trying things in public and love the variety of on call too much to mess about with MTU so would have lost interest fast.

Just surprised how solo/lone friendly this all is. And even if one gets in a session (inevitably as it is) these selling trucks hurt, lol. Sweet!

To each his own but they're by far some of the most tedious jobs I've seen in this game to date. And to think we waited so long for a juicy update...  only to end up with these.

Crate/biker/bunker/hangar/vehicle source missions were all better than any of these new jobs even if they required us to be in public sessions.

I think the only solid thing I got out of this update gameplay wise was the MKII Opp and Terrorbyte. At least the client missions aren't as tedious and pay out a worthwhile amount.

Yeah, I get that they aren't inspired missions really. But at the same token, not much different from VIP work or other resupply jobs too. Fetch quests at their finest, lol. (Though the posters job is a bit different though). I really wasn't expectinf that part to change though, been too ling where they rehash things and call it something else.

These definitely suit a role player/story gamer more I feel. And as it's PvE proper, it just fits in for me. I rarely do more tgan 2 in any sessions myself, but get these don't appeal all round. Not helped by the low pay of course. (For many at least).

Proper mask for a proper job

Ju0AD7Y.jpg

Now, it's obvious I'm sticking posters on the walls again, and this made me think of this thread here. What if they'd let you keep the duffelbag after you've done this specific job 100 times? Or 25 times within 8 minutes in a row, or something like that?

We obviously can't teach someone, who spends his entire days at the nightclub, to do his job right, so we wouldn't need to do any promotions at all anyway (yes, I'm pointing at you, Tony). Might as well get a nice reward for it, right? That duffelbag is a highly wanted item, especially to those with a higher level of RP in their gameplay.

Is it too much to ask to let us earn the bag (and backpacks) like we can earn the Epsylon shirt by getting smacked on booze?

My popularity has been at 0 ever since I got the

damn Kifflon shirt. This week I raised it up again

only to take advantage of 2x$ in the safe but will

let it go down to 0 again once this is done. I just

refuse the be someone else's errand boy, Tony

can go fly the blimp and put posters himself. To

be honest, before I got the shirt I was getting my

popularity to stay up by re-booking DJs all the

time. Most of the missions take way too long for

the amount of popularity we get. Way more cash

in the safe would get me to keep it up, other than

that I don't know. Like 4, 5 times more cash. Tbh

I'm totally underwhelmed by After Hours, thought

we were getting consolidation on our business but

we sure got nothing of the sort. only good thing

was the OpMk2 that I use exclusively to grind.

Let me use my popularity and pull with celebrities to have different abilities.

Like let me ring Lazlow or Tony and have them use their connections to celebrities to have Paparazzi's harass players. Instead of Merryweather shooting and killing the player the Paps wont stop following the player, ramming them off the road like the Police do, flashing their cameras which blind the screen for a moment and bumping into the player. Killing the paps would get the player a two star wanted level.

Give us the ability to have another way to remove our wanted level so if we have already used Lester we can do it again in a pinch.

The ability to have a celebrity "send a Bleet" which would cause all NPC enemies to stop and look at their phones for a few seconds

Let us pick up the protagonists from GTA V story mode, who will acompany us on the next promo mission. The very first protagonist pickup mission could be a helpout at a heist first, help the protagonist escape from it and deliver him at the nightclub as a hideout for a while and then will acompany you on the next mission after which you'll have to take them home and pick them up another time again, somewhere in the city either in a normal situation or a gunfight. Trevor has a chance to become a nuisance after drinking too much or smoking meth to which you'll have to help the bouncers to throw him out the club.

Michael might have a good tip to score some nice cash in a mini heist, which you do with him and get rewarded decently. Franklin might have a good tip on a I/E car nearby, which you can also retrieve with him and deliver it at your warehouse or sell immediately to Franklin if you lack a warehouse.

Oh, and of course, on a very rare occassion, and only occuring once, LJT visits your nightclub. You will be able to either kill him and pour him into a concrete block, which needs to be taken out to sea with a Cargobob and dumped into it, or rough him up quite good, steal his phone and send him out to warn every other contact in your phone to stay the hell away from calling our phones ever again or they risk the same treatment as he got. You'll have to take him to your contacts, because he doesn't have knee caps anymore, after you smashed them off with a wrench.

Much better to not promote at all, in my opinion. I don't have to see that half-full popularity meter anymore, which is good as it always gave me a headache to see it go below 95%. The promotion jobs are all just a waste of time. Swapping the DJs around is a waste of money.

Only benefits, the way I see it. There are still a few hardcore clubbers on the floor, but the VIP section is empty and I don't have a joint anymore (biggest downside). The best part is I don't have to keep emptying the safe all the time. I can go kill people for several hours, come back and see it's only filled up with a couple hundred $. It's perfect.

But whatever, I'm on vacation from LS anyway. It's refreshing taking a break from watching tryhards kill themselves!

^ I can completely agree. It is either keep the club full, for mere scenic reasons (like I do), or keep it empty, for 'so what?'

I wished R* would provide a second tier of how to engage in club "above ground" business.

So players could either settle with the conditions as they are now, with the club being a nice backdrop and the option of trading tedious low effort missions for extra-glitz and pocket money,

or enter some kind of advanced business mode, e.g. by integrating English Dave into the club, or any other suitable initiation of such a mode, that henceforth offers/demands higher paying and challenging jobs, source mission style, or all the Story mode business missions, in exchange for max buzz in the club and bigger payouts.

Point being, that the club could be used as a more or less standalone business alternative. Mustn't be big money, because solo-able, but it should at least be possible to get a sum out of it equal to low contact mission grinding or Sightseer, ~ 100K/hour

(don't call me out on the number crunch, please)

I keep my Club's popularity maxed out to:

1) Help soften the blow of my daily fees. I pay around $16k in daily fees & the daily income helps.

2) Payback the money I spent on the club. I made just under 3 millions, that covered my initial investment, but I'm pushing to cover my later upgrades as well. That way the money I make from the Club's sales is pure profit ;) .

3) Be prepared in case R* do another 2x$ on the daily earnings.

4) It feels good to walk into the club & pick up cash from the safe.

5) The empty club is depressing to be honest. I let my club's popularity go early on, but I decided against it once Dixon became available.

6) The Black Madonna plays decent music.

Something got glitched during VIP week & my Club's popularity kept decreasing way too fast despite having the Staff upgrade. I couldn't keep up with it without derailing my plans for the day & eventually said f*ck it. The whole bar vanished in the span of 2 hours & I haven't done a popularity gig since then.

I already got the Hottest Spot gold trophy & I'm $300k shy of my $5M in Club Earnings goal. So I decided to let the Club rot until R* have another 2x$ on CEs, then I'll do the DJ switch to increase the popularity & sustain it long enough to get that $300k.
