I cannot believe how toxic Rockstar has allowed GTA Online to become!

This game's toxicity for the past years and R*s lust for it made me realize I wont be buying these new games they have coming. I bought every GTA they released and Red Dead 1. I cant give them money without getting angry at them now, what's the point there's plenty of other games to keep me going too much praise in the mainstream everywhere, giving them a pass on GTA Online which shows their future intents. They wont change from what they are doing now, they will do this to GTA6 most likely in one form or another (I'll be very surprised if they do change).

I only bought Red Dead 1 because I liked the company in the past. This company is turning bad they've changed and I dont see it changing its bad ways for GTA 6 with the money they made from 5. I cant be propping up this business plan they seem to be creating with one of my favourite games. They may have made Red Dead 2 with quality in parts but money is where they're going not the playerbase. The new games in these large companies that are made these days suffer in creativity because of this. Red Dead may go away from GTA5 formula but I cant see GTA6 being better in online for these reasons. I am currently playing two other older franchises and they are practically doing the same sort of stuff this company does heck 90 percent of the Triple AAA are, just different tactics.

Wastelander (Suzuki)

So, it's not toxic according to some of the posts I've read since my last one, it's just bad luck or bad lobbies.
Take a seat Children.

MSTR (GhillieMasters) has had a list of people that their whole life revolves around stalking this crew. They are but are not limited to
REZX Crew, Stalker Type: Orb Spam and Ghosted Passive Mode Lazer spam, usually found in Auto Aim. Status: Blocked, still joins via Join Friends Crews (Usually friending a unsubjecting MSTR player)
FCNF (FLEETCOM NAVAL FORCE), Stalker Type: Thermal Lazers with Tryhards in tow, usually jump members at random times, willingly breaks the Mil-sim Community's LS Conventions the second they are at a disadvantage, or more lately Jobs Out the second the people they attack regroup . Status: War Active, has been since we first encountered them and they leveled a gunrunning shipment with the excuse of doing a "Combat Air Patrol"
SONS (BuiserHaze Crew), Stalker Type: Orb Spam. Status: Status: Blocked, still joins via Join Friends Crews (Usually friending a unsubjecting MSTR player)
DARK (Dark Eagle Squad, Hummer Guy's Crew, Filled to the brim with MSTR Rejects and Salty Tryhards). Stalker Type: Everything, the whole lot of tryhard tactics. Status: Blocked, Still see them every now and again
LSPC (Los Santos Peace Corps). Stalker Type: Cargo Griefers.  Beef Started when a LSPC Orb'd a Nightclub Shipment. Status: War Active, Most members of MSTR seem to agree that breaking our no cargo griefing rule just for them is ok, still working out how to deal with them.
MOTMUS (The Youtuber) Stalker Type: PC And PS4 Crew Stalker, Often targets PvE players in MSTR. Status: Unknown

And this is just a short list of people who's lives revolve around stalking MSTR, There are way more but for the sake of time and sanity I'll end the list on that note, besides we have many MOTMUS style Stalkers that run mostly solo, many, many, many more of the solo stalkers.

But like people have said, it's just a bad lobby or bad luck, it's not toxic :kappa:

Both MOTMUS and similar people like ShootEmUp are just clout chasers, trying to expose actually good YouTubers like GhillieMaster and TheProfesional just because they don't agree with their playstyle.

Not only that, they try to "legitimize" their bullsh*t, trying to justify obviously wrong things like modded accounts and the like and putting players on categories like "noobs" (aka everyone who doesn't play like a tryhard), "wannabe tryhards", "tryhards" (they're the same thing duh)...

And the worst thing is that there's players who actually believe them.

Really, the problem is just online games and the people they attract.

R* is certainly guilty of their fair share of enabling bad behavior, but the issue infects any multiplayer game.

One of my favorite games is a WWI flight sim, and the online portion is affected by the same spawn killers, griefers, team killers, etc who just exist to ruin other's fun.

The vast majority of servers are tightly run and ban these idjits, but they still find ways to get on and mess with people just trying to get immersed in the game.

Point is, there's always some bad apples no matter what you do (or in R*s case, DON'T do) to discourage them.

Crew stalking is completely different than online being toxic in general.   Is it toxic sure, its just no worse than it has always been.  I think its actually not as bad.  I think the platform you play on makes a difference as well as PS4 has "more" glitches.

I wanted to change my wheels real quick, so I call up my MOC and head to it. Halfway there, I get hit with a rocket from an Oppressor mk2. I haven't even been out of my nightclub 30 seconds... I stop the Menacer and let him have at it so he can feel as impotent in-game as he most likely is in real life. 19 rapid-fire rockets later, his bike is offensively useless while the Menacer is no worse for wear. I message him "Are you done or nah?" He left the session.

R* has taken to empowering opportunistic cowards like this guy.

Imma have to somewhat disagree with this. Alot of activities require you do em in freemode which can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

Thats also true, its real hard (almost impossible) for a new player who just finished storymode and starts for the first time online to catch up with the rest of them gamers. The "tools" you need to survive and make money nowaday (in freemode) take so much gametime. But thats no news, we all know it

I don't know whether this should be for the stories topic, B*tch & Moan or here but because I'm going to be talking about players I guess I might as well post it here (and maybe in b*tch and moan later on with a few slight changes so I don't look to be cross-posting if that's a rule here)

For the last hour I had been minding my own business in a solo public Auto-Aim lobby with just myself, I'd say it was a good 40 minuets in one person joins, then another and the "Players are voting to remove you from the session" message starts flying in.. this was my own lobby where I was minding my own business and these turds want to kick me?  anyway the 2nd guy comes after me while I'm running a client Job for Paige (data drives and no I didn't reach the data drive at that point) and eventually joins the first guys organisation (must be friends but their crew tags were different),

I'm on the 2nd last vehicle to scan and it's not it, so Paige tells me "Well there's only one left so this must be it" or something like that. It's heading past the vehicle impound lot not far from Strawberry. I activate ghost organisation as I'm not in the mood to deal with bored assholes and I go after it, I miss killing the NPC driver of the car but I see the 2nd guy to join the session go looking for me this time on an oppressor, since I still have ghost he has no idea where I am and can only go off if he sees me or by last location so I quickly go after him and blow him up, he's on the ground. I've got a minuet left of ghost at this point so my priority is taking the driver of the vehicle with the drives out which I did with 19 seconds left to spare of ghost. It was at this point the vehicle was on the highway so I floor it as fast as I can to the drop off point. I would say I was a good 1 KM from the drop off point when a 3rd guy from the same organisation is coming at me in a buzzard, at this point I didn't get a look at the player but I know it was another dirty scum trying to ruin my fun. Anyway I successfully make it to the drop off point... my heart is beating fast and I was tempted to say "F*ck yeah, too bad you couldn't catch me" but I didn't bother as these people are full of nothing but low IQ's and insults and messaging them is a waste of time and only leads to frustration.

Anyway after coming out of the black screen after dropping the vehicle off, the 3rd guy in the buzzard try's to fire rockets at me but must've hit an object when trying to get a closer view of me and ended up destroying their buzzard and themselves. 3rd player respawns and is trying to scope me, she does get a hit on me but I take off on my oppressor only to hit a light pole on the way out and knock myself out with a kill going to the 3rd player... Guess what? it was a player with white hair, white eyes and a rebreather... you guessed it tryhard, on my respawn she scopes me again but not enough to kill me, I put down a sticky and self destruct my way out (because they'd do it too) then leave the lobby afterwards... Kill denied b*tch.

Too long, couldn't be bothered to read? (summary)

I had a lobby to myself, was running client jobs, 45 minuets in players join, I get vote kick messages, then 2nd player to join the session comes after me, eventually he joins first guys organisation,  I go ghost, kill him once, steal the data drive vehicle, deliver it and quick battle with tryhard from the same organisation before I leave because I'm not the mood to fight such vermin scum.

I get it, I was doing a job at my OWN RISK you'll say. But I had a nice session to myself and people have to come and ruin it and be assholes to prove what????

I wanted to vote kick 2nd guy so hard but I had placed a vote kick on the first guy not knowing who placed a vote kick against me so I retracted it. Unfortunately now I couldn't kick 2nd guy as cool down was in place and by the time I could've... I was out numbered by the amount of other players in the session.

If you're referring to me, it's not the mission I was upset about, it's the type of players I'm upset about

See as soon as they joined into my lobby which I previously had to myself they were instantly chucking vote kicks at me, anything to get me out of the lobby (I'm sure if I wasn't on a client job, I definitely would've been kicked out of the lobby after a couple of minuets) Yeah sure I don't mind if you joined my session because eventually I'm just going to move onto another solo public lobby and continue from there. I'm sure the 2nd & 3rd guy came after me just to speed up the vote kick process since I was on a mission. He was probably waiting for me to find the correct vehicle so he could either steal it / destroy it, mission fails and then I'm instantly removed from the lobby because I had a vote kick against my name, I'm not sure what opposing players objectives are for the data drives mission but now that I think about it, they were probably doing anything they could to speed up the kick process.

Salty a$$licks couldn't get a lobby to themselves so when they found a solo players one, they wanted to come and do everything they can to ensure they can take over it and that includes f*cking up what the solo player is doing. I'm sure if I was on a resupply they would've f*cked that up too.

If this is directed at me, I'm sorry that I complained about such scum and should've known better than to post about it on here out of retaliation of having fingers pointed at me instead to say I'm the problem.

I'll say 'Why give them a chance when you didn't have to'

Those are lobby optional. Unlike businesses, those we can do in any session. If we want peace and have the option for it without compromising our game, why give twats a chance to piss in your pot.

As a member of a friendly crew, let me explain this common misunderstanding.

See, ever since Gunrunning, the game now merges low populated lobbies into bigger ones, in your case, "your" lobby got merged with "theirs". From their perspective, you joined their session and started a job to avoid getting kicked.

Also, AFAIK, most friendly crews create their own solo lobbies instead of taking over ones, it saves the headache.

I'm not saying that what they did was justified though (and I said this as someone who actually kicks people), at least they should have asked you to find another session (which you said you're fine with), that's what the crew I'm with does before any bounties or kicking takes place.

Surprisingly enough, most people comply, aside from the odd tryhard that tries to prove its worth destroying sales or whatever.

Why would they ask him to find another session when THEY joined HIS and tried to kick him? He said he spent 40 minutes alone in a session and people came into it and immediately tried to kick him. THEY should have found another session.

Read my post again.

From B7R's perspective, they joined his session while he was doing a Client Job and they managed to kick him from his lobby.

From those players perspective, B7R joined their session, started a Client Job to avoid getting kicked and they eventually managed to kick him.

The thing is that, without the game actually notifying when a lobby merge takes place, it's hard to deduce who joined who.

Weird. I spend HOURS in sessions without ever seeing anyone else. No merging with others has ever happened. Learn something (that happens to others) every day.

@dieseltech20 He did mention it could've been a lobby merge but no one including myself knows exactly what happened. They could've joined a new session and ended up in mine as far as I'm concerned as I have done that before and ended up in another players solo lobby. Or it could've been a lobby merge.. I don't know

I would've just finished up client job and moved on had they given me the chance. If their intentions were to get me out of the lobby they sure stretched it out by delaying & screwing around instead of just letting me finish and move on. All it takes is some simple communication of "can you please move on when your done" and all through  I was here first (supposedly)  but I'm not losing anything and it only takes another 5-10 minuets of searching to get back to a new fresh solo lobby and continue from where I was last.  Instead all of their intentions were hostile and people are going to probably defend it as such, fine go ahead and do that if you will.

But a little bit of communication is too much for people so instead they just go to vote kicking and destroying whatever your doing. No doubt these people that can't communicate properly are the same people who join heists and can't read the simple instructions of "stay put" and then proceed to go ahead and fail the mission by taking out a NPC  that wasn't suppose to be taken out or destroying the important supplies that must be taken back to home-base.

I've moved on, I just wanted to come here and share my 5 cents of players in GTAOnline instead I'm starting to feel like I've been wronged here but how can we know when we don't exactly know how I or they ended up in each others lobbies.

Now that I think of it, lobby merging is a stupid thing to do. So what if one player is on their own... let them. Only start doing it at 3-4 players maximum. Not that the game can predict player types or what they'll do but It's disappointing if I was indeed merged I got merged up with hostile people

Of what I've learned. Some people actually get offended when mention of communicating, lol. Apparently it's like begging to play with the big kids or some crazy crap, lol.

But don't feel wronged dude. The forums are for discussing these things, I certainly agree with most all of what you posted.

Just feel R* are the puppet masters here. They put all these stupid restrictions on things while leaving the troll friendly ways get a free pass. But when we get options and you are seeking the peace, gotta take it when we know the players have been enabled so poorly for so long is all. :)

The biggest disappointment with the PvP portion of GTAO today isn't the fact that there IS PvP at all, I mean, PvP's always been a part of it for as long as I can remember. I won't complain about there being PvP in the game, I even enjoy it most of the time even though I'm mainly a co-operative player. What I'm having trouble with is the fact that people have started to play the game like little kids would (blowing themselves up, afraid to death of losing or getting a slightly lower K/D ratio as if that was a big deal at all, passive popping to get that "one up" on you etc etc etc, trashtalking if you're even slightly better than them or outsmart them or don't buy into their crap playstyle etc)... THAT is what is ruining the game, combined with all the outlandish, silly vehicles that everyone and their mothers are using.

And if you're solo in a public session doing work, you always gotta watch your back. You really can't get angry about it anymore. Sure, random people are idiots but if you thought you'd be left in peace in the first place you thought wrong. Play with friends or a friendly crew if you want to reduce the risks and have more helpful people around you. The session is never "mine" or "yours", it belongs to those who are in majority. Simple. Not saying I like it the way it is, just saying that's the way it is..

I dealt with a load of MKII broomsticks for ya yesterday. I went into a room that had 9 of the little f*ckers flying about so fired up the Ruiner 2000 CEO mission where you get a super strong Ruiner 2000 and 30 minutes to destroy turrets across the map. Except i didn't destroy any turrets. I just used the 30 minute timer to destroy as many broomsticks as possible. The broomsticks can't lock on to the Ruiner 2000 and it is super strong which meant i racked up a ton of kills on all 9 of the broomsticks. Easily over 45 kills on them. It was like they couldn't work it out and i made the broomstick brigade malfunction. Since that broomstick was released they have fallen into a pattern of thinking they are now some untouchable GTA gods and that the MKII can't be beat. And everytime i destroyed 1 of them they would instantly respawn another and come straight at me all angry. Sometimes as many as 4 at a time coming for me. It literally took them the full 30 minutes to work out that they couldn't get me on a broomstick. By the end all 9 of them had put the broomsticks well away and were all on foot and stayed there. lol Filmed some of the footage will upload when i get chance.

Funny story. All this hoopla about the new game had me thinking about how good the original RDR was. I never played that game online. Or GTAIV for that matter. I fired up RDR and logged into the online game for sh*ts and giggles... The experience is no different.  The same baby-dicked cum guzzlers that plague GTAO are there as well, doing the EXACT SAME sh*t. One or two guys, on the best horses available, wielding the most powerful guns available, riding from player to player killing them over and over. The game is different, but the same player base is just as cheap, and just as toxic. My only ray of hope is that there won't be any jets or troll bikes or Kuruma-esque vehicles that you can shoot out of, but can't be shot in.

But at least we get to start over. GTAO was great for a LONG time.

And please be willing to admit that at least we won't have to look into the sky in anticipation of that stupid rat f*ck bike.

I think you have a legitimate reason to hope. We won't have to look up into the sky in terror anymore. After the PTSD we all have in that regard, I am certain that online RDR2 will be a HUGE RELIEF.

Inevitably, exploits and abuses will emerge, just as it was inevitable that we'd agree about this game --- after all the BS.

But I'm holding my prayer beads and giving thanks that I won't have to watch for hellfire from the skies.

if there's any one thing i would wish for, it would be for more people to join the regular, old-fashioned land races when i'm doing them.
