They "baited" into hypnosis the console players from old gen with the 60 fps. But, we PC players, i think i can say that we got a more wider perception of things that everyone would think of, alonside console players if they were so distracted by the 60 fps. And that's why i said that not putting npc animals like in SP was a ball drop, not giving bicycle helmets like in SP was a ball drop, not adding the cable car of Mount Chilliad from SP was a ball drop (and anyone who goes to mount chilliad and loses the personal vehicle there knows how F you are and the cable car could bne a good ally to go back to a place where you can call again a personal vehicle, instead of dying a couple of times in the hope that with each death you will be near the foot of the mountain ).

 

But there's also a lot of stuff that they dropped the ball, like still gas masks don't protect against gas; clipping issues with clothing; some clothes that you can't match that doesn't make any sense, like some watches with necklaces or watches with pants; not adding different cars to npc traffic, etc.

Now that this stuff can always come in a posterior DLC, sure...but i find that a lot of those stuff that is from the "basics" of the game, not coming with the release of E&E itself, makes me believe that they will probably not come at all, unfortunately.

I was heartened last Halloween with the interesting new wrinkles they added. You're asking for too much about npc's...remember, they don't even put them with winter clothes during the snow events. That would be problematic to deal with since it would mess with the game code. But we can say that it was a dropping ball from R*, we can say the same of them not using umbrellas when rains. That's why i said, that GTA IV, maybe because they went the "more realistic possible" touch, they made the NPC's feeling more alive than they are in GTA V.

 

But yeah...it's the problem of them reducing the numbers of DLC's per year, that's why we don't have nothing new for Independence Day for many years...but the Valentines Day is being a bit of a misused of the winter DLC's...they could put a vintage car from the 1900's up to 1950's in the drip-feed, with also some new clothing valentines themed - not to mention a new mobster weapons - and release it in February...but either they don't want to bother in making new clothing and guns or they are just forgetting that.

It's a shame they stopped adding Valentine's Day and Independence Day-specific new stuff. It's not like there's any shortage of material, there are enough iconic gangster weapons and cars and iconic American weapons and cars that they could add one of each a year for the next decade. Some could even pull double-duty for both, such as the BAR (iconic WW-era US automatic weapon, also used a lot by Bonnie & Clyde).

If you're on pc, get a modder to unlock all the old event items. But after I did that, the amount of stuff I had missed over 8 years of GTAO, holy smokies. Found 100s of new items that I've never heard of being unlocked. If rockstar only gave out 20 of a shurt from a Twitch livestream and you missed out, you can get it now.

Beer hats or whatever item they give as a gift, let's be honest, almost everyone just uses them 1 time and that's it.

One clothing item they could implemente in the game would be backpacks. Imagine you wanna role-play by climb up Mount Chilliad. (not joking, rly).

When NPC's have better clothing options than you.

 

Edit: while searching for pictures, i spot this and i remember, we should also be able to have some binoculars, instead of everytime we want to zoom in to a certain place, we have to use a sniper.

really by mere logic R never skips the summer to add a dlc it doesn't matter that there are few consoles you can easily receive in the old gen of course it depends
In addition, in summer, since people do not go to classes, it would be very useful to release a dlc in these months to rockstar, obviously, more income.

If they are gonna add the BAR I want a Villar Perosa and Tankgewehr m1918 lol.

If the update is coming early, we'll get the double week tonight and the update on the 12th. Unless they do a 5-day week, but as far as I know they've never done that. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Another semi-serious problem that used to happen, but not as bad, and has become MUCH WORSE with E&E: Nightclub goods accrue very badly sometimes. I checked my nightclub a few hours after selling all goods, and like 6 hours later the ONLY goods that were actually accruing were the first two, Cargo and Shippments and Sporting Goods. The other ones were not accruing at all. Switching the techs around started one or two of them up, but a few hours later, one or two of them were still not accruing, and I had to switch them up again.

 

For the record, this used to ONLY be an intermittent problem for me with South American. Now, since E&E, it has gotten much worse.

That particular shot has caused (and still does) quite the commotion in the beta threads of GTAV lol
