I mean I like my VSTR but I'm never going to take this thing to a car meet because as soon as I open the hood I want to puke.

They always had the power to do better car details ever since the game was released in the PS4 and X1 gens, the problem is that they're inconsistent and do not give a f*ck about it.

 

You can expect more cars with 2013 interior textures and 2006 engine textures even after this game is completely moved on to the current console gens.

 

As a matter of fact, the current gen exclusive car Karin S95 is rocking that 2013 9F interior...

I don't bother with customer's specific requests, I just change things as fast as possible, like the first option in each category, and you know what? Most of the time they give me bonus cash.

Today the first time after a long time, i tried to add extras to a customer car. It was a Jugular in silver, the customer wanted carbon sideskirts, carbon fenders, a third part in carbon too that i currently can't remember, he also wanted carbon solar wheels. So i also added a carbon spoiler, a carbon hood, and carbon roof and carbon canards. It didn't change a thing, i didn't get less or more money. I won't waste anymore time on that and just give them what they want, like i previously always did.

Yeah, that too. If the car models were to be traslated in a paint:

The problem is that i don't think the issue with sh*tty interiors or engines or even some vehicles that get the calipers clipping with the brakes, like the Previon, which i have (just to be competitive in sedan's class, as if people even do that kind of races) i put the most closed rims option possible. The last Sanchez is also a mess, but it's good for wheelie free mode challenge. But i was saying, i don't think the problem is the old gen, i don't believe that it's a decent high res engine that will drop even more fps of the consoles, but rather idk if it's different teams that divide the creation of the car pack of the next dlc...or deadlines...bcz how the freak you can explain the Pfister Astron being probably the most good looking and full of details SUV (every light on that car works) and then they give you one of the most high luxury sedans/"limo" out there, the Enus Jubilee based on the Rolls Royce Cullinan, a freaking soccer mom van gta online 2013 interior! I just refused the buy that car! If deadlines, would be preferable to R* just make even less cars and make sure that all of them aren't half from 2022 standards and half 2013 standards. Of if there's 1 or 2 vehicles that they think they will not be able to make properly then post-pone them to the next DLC.

 

P.S.: Same bullsh*t with the Jester...that was so broken that R* made a historic landmark of risk it from the list and post-pone it to the next DLC but even there, they barely touched the car, it was basically just giving it some more decent front bumpers options - yet, you can't go too much crazy with it - and put a classic spoiler option of the supra. But in the end, they didn't touch the rear bumpers, which the options are sh*tty af, the rear ligths they just disguised how 3D era textures they made it, the plate is still in the same awkward place that cuts in half the rear bumper of the car, the front ligths are also pretty sh*tty and the problem was they toke too much to the letter the "hey, R*, we want the Jester from GTA San Andreas".

P.S.2: And the Taipan, i think it's a good looking car, but that non-removable or non-replaceable postion plate on the rigth side of the car, it's not good for my OCD. Another car that i didn't bought because of that feature.

Adding extra parts, outside of the visual parts that the customers wants, never gets you extra rewards, if you want extra money from that then you need to apply parts different from what the customer wants. 

 

So if the customer wants a carbon lip spoiler, you go with a parkbench spoiler, if the customer wants a off-road wheels, you put on a sports rims instead, and so on...Then it's a gamble if the customer will enjoy it or not because the game doesn't tell you if they will like the changes or not.

I think for example, putting liveries will not affect neither good or badly the outcome.

What if R* just trolled us with putting those specs, taking into consideration that they know how "whatever" we tuned the I/E cars because 1) it doesn't matter how you customize, it doesn't change the final payment and 2) taking into acccount 1), we just then customize them whatever to get over the tuning part as soon as possible ------» chrome feast.

One thing is basic stealth, but this is just goofy. And all of this just to say that when people say that want a DLC à lá Splinter Cell or just a QoL improvements in that regard, i don't think it would be easy to change how poorly done the game code was made and even when R* don't mess with game code, they can screw a lot of things (like, adding new arcade games, screw the previous), imagine then, really mess with the game code.

That was done on purpose obviously, you have no chance of getting away with that in Deliver EMP or the vans in the Series A heist (2 guards seeing each other is a highlighted possibility in both) .

 

Guard locations and patrols make a puzzle since it's a game, extremly simple in that case but still.

 

And nothing to do with the second picture, there are games where you can get that close and that's normal.

 

But they don't need to code a camouflage system, light mechanics or whatever to do stealth, they would simply need to change how things are done.

There's stealth and combat system that needs a very solid upgrade to GTA VI, and i say VI because i hardly believe that they will change deep code strings and do more bad than good. So i would say that it's plausible to not expect any DLC with QoL that will change the combat system and stealth, but it really puts out the question: "when then if you press CTRL (PC) you can walk more ninja style with your character? I would guess that such mechanic would serve to approach another player without him seeing you on the mini-map (your icon should disappear if you were walking like that).

Extortion, is one hell of a motivator. 

Antagonist kidnaps his kids and he is forced to do another epic heist; gets the old crew together and a new member (our character) to help with the job.

The kidnapping is a farce. Jimmy and Tracey, want the money to start a record label with whatever artist, Rockstar is promoting.

Man.... Sometimes I don't know what to think of this game.

 

If it's not the armies of hackers, modders and griefers constantly ruining all efforts to play, it's the game itself, usually the COPS.

 

So, I'm constantly being badgered by this guy Mark on my phone, so I finally said I'd do his mission.  So, I'm supposed to go assassinate some guy.  This means breaking into his mansion compound.  Can't get over the wall, so I have to shoot the guard at the gate.  As soon as I do, about 60 guys in the compound become hostile.  60-1 is pretty long odds, but I'm game for a cautious gunfight.  BUT, I'm not going to be allowed that, because in addition to that, I get 4 stars of police attention, so around 200 cops, plus cars, plus 5 helicopters ALL start searching for me... and they NEVER stop, even magically knowing where I'm going to hide.  Just no damn way to do that.  If I kill the cops, they just respawn, so it will just never EVER stop.

 

So I decide to do a MC resupply mission.  Got to steal the supplies... FROM THE COPS.  This involves driving around with no cover in a small area on my bike while the cops AND THE CIVILIANS all try to steer into me, shooting me all the while, until MAYBE the supplies bike will appear.  When it does, I try to hide to shed the wanted level, but NO, they never stop searching.  I get the bike and ride away, but there's cop cars every 20 feet, behind me, in front of me, down every side street, literally EVERYWHERE.  They chased me all the way from the very south end of the map all the way to the north where my counterfeit operation is, ramming me off my bike all the way there, no matter how I dodge, the cars can magically turn JUST as tightly... and again, there's no way to shake them because they're appearing RIGHT in front of me every time I outrun the ones behind me.  I even drove off a cliff to escape them, and what's this?  MORE of them at the BOTTOM of the cliff.  Just NO WAY to do anything, no way to fight them, no way to escape them, just a complete exercise in frustration.

 

So I decide to go for a nice relaxing ride in my boat.  It appears in a big warehouse type place at the docks, and as I walk in to go to MY BOAT, I'm suddenly attacked by 20 bad guys, and instantly oneshotted.  So I try to fight my way in to get to my boat, and get instantly oneshotted several MORE times.  Lovely, relaxing night.  Finally I do get my boat, but the thing is a boat in name only, as it spends more time in the AIR than on the water.

 

What a frustrating night.  I mean, I know that's the game, but it's still frustrating.  I sometimes wonder what they were thinking about with some of their design choices.

Out of that trio only Franklin would be capable to actively participate in potential heist, Micheal would be 54-57 years old if we go by gta wiki info. And even Frank is semi-retired, doing office work as broker inside an agency. The most believable involvement for Michael would be something tied to either movie studio work or some other potential business that he owns.

They don't have to for stealth, if they remove the all seeing AI that's already good.

 

Halo FPS titiles and Red Faction Guerrilla are no stealth games but they don't see everything and they can lose you (the latter is more obvious, they may slowly check you last position with the gun pointed) . Sleeping Grunts + guards is a classic combo of Halo.

 

Several Gerald missions could do that by placing guards in a way that you can reduce their numbers without triggering them, just a possibilty but not being the recommended way or no more than going loud and certainly not making the mission hell should the guards become angry.

 

I suppose the hiding mechanics with the police could extend to players... mostly hiding spots (basically every bush) .

 

EDIT : that Diamond Casino Heist prep with the guards in a parking full of cars is a good example when it come to optional stealth (plus the location of the prep is genius) .

The problem with stealth in this game, is that everybody is already alerted if you miss the head if shooting somebody. It's like a swarm intelligence, like they all communicate telepathic and this in a quarter second. If you manage to kill somebody without making noise, and they don't manage to shoot their gun, and the others are too far away, not everybody should be alerted. If you shoot somebody with multiple suppressed gunshots instead of a headshot, not everybody should be alerted.

 

I hope they fix that in GTAVI, but i doubt it, it will probably still be the same lousy stealth system.

 

I like the stealth system in Metal Gear, Splinter Cell and f*ck even Far Cry, there it works much more "realistic".

I agree but that might work well for a movie DLC, we do the dirt work for him as he did for Solomon plus maybe some stuntmen jobs. Basically Michael contact missions if it is a smaller DLC and a bunch of movie related cars, classics and modern - would work for me. I'd also like to see Vincent again, maybe working as security for the studios.

Your complaint is 100% valid and warranted. The police, as well as the enemy AI in general for that matter, in this game have gotten more and more ridiculous over the years.

Yea, they just need to remove their aimbot blind fire at your exact location even when you're moving to cover they couldn't see, when we break the line of sight they shouldn't know your position, R* made ai uber hard on purpose to frustrate players, apart from their terminator vision they also have minigun rate of fire rifles that can drain health in an instant. 

If they nerf ai shootouts would be much more interesting, with flanking, grenade to distract and quickly switch position, etc. It doesn't have to be advanced like ghost recon or splinter cell.

plus I almost always give add brakes if they don't ask for any and spoilers if there's the option.

And are you being paid extra for those parts? Well, I always add extra parts outside of what the customer requests and I never get paid an extra dollar for it.

 

I only get paid if I intentionally buy an item that is not what the customer wants, and that is a gamble, as I already explained.
