I just love multiple lobbies of hacking griefers, playing with sociopaths with a god complex who's only source of entertainment is my repeated, spawn camped demise, I love dying over and over before i can even open the menu to change lobbies.

Seriously, Rockstar need to make a better system for GTA 6's online because this is just impossible.

Was it actual evidence or just some left over scripts and junk that people jumped conclusions over? I am sure that if R* left a single file called (rick_never) people would be all over and predicting a Rick Astley DLC.

What exactly does this prove? Could be a single cutscene for an unrelated DLC.

You both miss my point, I am not saying there is not "evidence" of these DLC's, but I think people are jumping to conclusions. I don't blame anyone, R* needs to communicate better.

Conclusions that came based on hints discovered in the game files. Not to mention that today Tez said that he isn't feeling the Michael DLC for summer now and only for December. Note that Tez did said it in a way of a Michael DLC not "if" but "when". In my opinion at this point the inner-circle knows that this DLC it's real and are already drip-feeding the small (or big) knowledge they already have about it, but not yet fully saying "it's real and will happen" because #it'stoosoontosay.

As far i remember, idk if was Tez who said that but it was in a way like if it got canned and R* don't want to release a DLC about that theme, they could do some kind of adv. mode.

i think the "Cops´n Crooks Pack" comment next to the Qub3D controls in the controls file kinda count as evidence lol

Also the change in the lines which says ''you can't modify the stolen Police vehicles'' which you found on Aug 2020, but yeah 'Cops n Crooks pack' mention is a more clear evidence.

Oh, i can't wait to have a fancy clothing shop like Didier Sachs with fine tuxedos and golden watches and...not being able to pair them together for some f*cked up reason. :sadkek:

Edit: even GTA San Andreas you could put a watch with almost every kind of clothing, sure it clipped the hell out, but no ones would care that much at that time, but now, for some reason sometimes, more than fewer, if you put certain pants, the watch disappears, if you put a necklace, watch disappears, etc., not to even mention that you can't lift a bit the sleeves of clothing in order for your watch to be seen, there's only the option is going with sleeveless clothes.

Man, if they can disable flight mode for the Deluxo inside the LSCM, they damn well could have disabled it for races.. so sick of not being able to use MY Ardent, Deluxo, Imperator, ZR380 etc in races.

R* somewhat follows a release pattern and 85% of the player base starts foaming at the mouth the closer we get to an update, claiming it's the end of days and we won't get an update this summer/holiday season.

It's funny every time.

Okay bud. That doesn’t mean it isn’t a sh*tty MO, it’s a tired method and for a dying game on life support they should communicate better. R* in general is on life support, the last impressive thing the produced was RDR2. The last few DLCs have been more marketing than actual worthwhile content. The Contract has very little replay value and the fact that you can’t skip the cutscenes makes it even worse. Between that, abandoning RDO, and the laughably mediocre 3D remakes it’s hard to deny that they’ve become a shadow of their former greatness. Now go ahead and move this post into B&M so R* will deposit 10 cents into your bank account.

I'm with you and one they could do which I think would actually bring something new to the game is Brucie Kibuttz and a Fight Club DLC.   Brucie being the contract similar to Dre where we help him with something and Brucie's brother Mori Kibuttz brings in the Fight Club aspect of the DLC like the Autoshop was in the Contract DLC. 🤑

So Fight Club DLC in the summer and Michael movie DLC in December then? :colgate:

Tbh...Brucie is an ok character, not too annoying, but his brother, way too annoying...i would suggest that R* would give us some less annoying characters that don't have "lil dick complex" that have to compensate that low self esteem by having a social activity showing (trying) that they are the giga chads.

Also, you guys keep insisting in the fight club dlc but imho, it will not happen if they don't revamp the melee mechanics of the game and if they don't, it's almost like it wouldn't even be worthy to invest in such dlc. And i don't think it would be easy to make a dlc based only in that concept, a fighting club could be a side thing of other bussiness. Or in other words and to make it more simple: i think a fighting club would be better if it was just a "simple" free mode activity, but i don't think that R* is pron to go throgh that kind of work if - like almost of the times - a couple of highly request cars will do to make people happy.

And speaking about it ("it" = those low efforts where R* many times do shortcuts), first let me apologize to the guy who said this, i can't quote because i lost track of his post, but he said how back in the day, 2014-2016, was the golden period of R* "really care about their Online content", he said this, but, it remind me of the Lowriders DLC and it boogles me how they, in such "caring period" they didn't gave us a Lowrider contest, like in GTA SA.

Very true...the Dr. Dre record studio cutscene toke the 1st place on the podium, taking it from the Bogdan submarine cutscene in the category: "you can take a break from the game and go pee now". In my opinion, real life celebrities creates some difficulty for R* to make something more "gta-ish" with them due the "backlash" that they could get in their image - and even with this in mind i got surprised in seeing that they made Dr. Dre killing a guy in cold blood in gta and basically each time you had to go get one of their musics, if there was a party (such the one that happened in the "playboy mansion") Franklin was like: "so Dre, what are we gonna to do to make the guy come out? Messing the party sounds good..." Dre be like: "yeah...f*ck everyone up, what? they may be innocent people just enjoying a party? Ok, i still don't care". I was just paraphrasing, but it was basically what happened.

And one other major problem with the Heist DLC's, is the lack of replayability in the fun department because there isn't the "funny" value there. But worse are those ones that have cutscenes you have to go through. The only exception is almost only Cayo Perico, because you can do it in like 1 hour, it doesn't have long cutscenes, just small transitions - unlikely Dr. Dre's un-freaking-skipable cutscenes - and pays a lot of money.

Sounds about right, if there was any actual proof to warrant this much "buzz" it would be provided instead of being met with butthurt hostility and thinly veiled sarcasm.

Now, let me be clear, I am not saying there is no proof of something, I just want to know what proof there is to warrant this wild speculation, the fact that I am being met with hostility instead of solid proof tells me all I need to know.

This discussion again, for like the 10th time in 2 years, I used the forum search and this same thing was being discussed in Part IX. :kekw: "Packs" are the internal name for updates, for context, there's more (such as special particles related to police stuff, and text strings) if you search around these forums. And not just internal, the DLC's are literally named "dlcpacks" in the files. I wasn't and am not personally too interested in a C&C DLC myself anyway so... Honestly don't really care.

My dude, you have here the biggest known and probably best data-miner of GTA* i think we can say that he found enough clues and evidences of CnC - the tex files with codenames about CnC; the codes about new weapons that police usually uses like tear gas; the police vehicles references, etc. Not to mention that the inner-circle probably already got the final confirmation of that DLC more or less by the time that it got suddenly canned.

With Michael DLC is happening the same thing. R* wouldn't put there in a certain location and only in the next gen files a new prop that doesn't have any link with anything that we have in the game, not to mention, it wasn't on purpose (or maybe it was, lol) that they left it there.

No, no, not quite. With this supposed Michael DLC all we have is speculation and a scenario (that is clearly missing files) left over in the current-gen console versions of the game without any specific mentions as to what it's for, just that it tries to call a set of objects named "movie_set", which fits with the speculation. The C&C finds were more explicit and clearly mentioned a "C&C Pack".

For all we know this supposed movie stuff could be for Winter. Or not. We don't know lmao.

Whole bunch of nothingburgers until it's official from R*. CnC is probably scrapped, although it would have a potential to be good DLC if it's focused on PVE and solo friendly content, they could've added flash and/or stun grenades as tactical gear, then again R* tends to miss potential which was the case with stun launcher added with the contract update that might be content from CNC, that was a sh*tty weapon. As for Michael DLC, who knows, one would think he is next in line after Frenklin got his content, but maybe there will be something tied to movie business that won't involve him at all even though Frenklin mentioned him, it could just be something to tie to the story mode without any other plan.

People can speculate as much as they want, it's not really speculation when you have people intentionally fuelling these flames with vague "leaks" is it?

This topic is reminding me of the Cyberpunk 2077 Reddit before launch. Hostility to people who question the status quo and wild speculation. Can we get a LowSodiumnext-dlc-speculation-topic?

For those you said that the CnC wouldn't make sense because we are criminals, ok, fine, could this way serve? ---» For example, we could just "join" the LSPD for our own criminal interests. Lester could make a fake ID for us in the LSPD, then, we would have a system like the one from GTA IV where you would acess a police car computer to search for criminals, you would use that network to help Lester and yourself in getting some products, etc., to retrieve to your bussiness. Imagine that in the police database there's a guy that is wanted for holding drugs, you got info that he's hidden a a very valued pack and you want to steal it or any other type of goods really, then you go there with your cop disguise and you steal from him. If you kill him or arrest him you have different repercussions. And only to make your disguise ore credible you would have - if you wanted - just do some police free mode missions to lower the suspicions about you.

About Michael DLC, Movie Studio bussiness is what could be more easier and more related to go with, but sure, it can be something different. Like i said before...Michael owning a Didier Sachs boutique s/. :cringekek:

In other words...probably fight club will not happen (i don't think that a DLC like that would work if that wasn't just a free mode activity, which would be welcomed, don't get me wrong). And it wouldn't be surprising if R* launches another nightclub that would be for the flies to use it. But if they want to put more DJ's on the game, they probably will use the Music Locker, at least, it's less one "social space" that can have anything minus real social gathering. 😅

Game-quality-wise the Rockstar brand is maintained by a reputation they built in the past, and while that may run out at some point, right now they're making more money than ever. And I'm sure their marketing department ran the numbers that elaborate hype campaigns for GTA DLCs aren't worth it for them. So I don't really agree with your classification of a dying game / R* on life support. Even moving forward they just have to suck slightly less than other major publishers to stay profitable.

Tbh, they are just marketing their stuff they better way they can. They now more than ever have a music bussiness to mange and if they can use their other products, in this case, their game, they will. I guess gta online for some time went the route: "less effort as possible, aiming for maximum profit, so we will just put here some nice cars and call it a day". I mean, not that i'm trying to sh*t their work, usually the developers don't are the ones to blame but investors that don't necessarily know or even have love for the game itself. But i get this odd feeling that, i wouldn't change the GTAO of today for GTAO of some years ago that was way bare bones than today, but we have a feeling that somehow, and sometimes, they did put more love on it than nowadays, such as, this massive music focus and DJ lifestyle, i mean, f*ck that, 1 time would be enough, they made 2 attempts and was way below the expectations of everyone (AW and Music Locker), give me some mafia theme DLC as we are fine.

Still, content wise i'm pretty satisfied, i would just request at least, some more little things such as: give the rest of the most iconic cars of previous GTA's; give some classic melee weapons, katana preferably; open some more interiors for social gatherings and pass a time with friends, more free mode activies like some billiards and for last but not least, a mansion.
