Holy sh*t the amount of misinformation in this forum atm. The PEGI 18 rating is not the same as the ESRB M rating which has ALWAYS been 17+ for all games rated Mature, including all GTA games. There is no such thing as e.g. a PEGI 17 rating, it's still 18 and yes that's the new "E&E" version. No one changed anything, GTA V is still M in ESRB and 18 in PEGI. Search before you spread bullsh*t that apparently other gullible people can't go look for themselves either.

Also let me be completely honest with some of you, all this discussion of sex shop DLC's and pimping DLC's and what not is just starting to get nigh on absolutely creepy and not funny at all. You don't want R* to go "PC" but you yourselves are at the opposite end of the scale at this point. Almost feels like there's somewhere else to discuss this crap.

Reminds me of another member we had a few years ago who seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with the prostitutes in the game. Ended up making an absolutely disgusting topic about it IIRC.

I wasn't wearing my "mod hat" with my last post, and I really don't want to be drastic about it, although I probably should be, but I have seen multiple people say these posts just ruin the enjoyment of the topic as it looks like it's being taken over by a bunch of creeps, and from the point people start complaining either publicly or privately, you start thinking about actions.

 

I repeat this for the like 10th time now. Tone it down, or don't do it at all, otherwise, when the entire topic just turns into this kind of creepy sh*t we'll just start nuking posts, or warning people. Again. We (well I wasn't staff yet) had to be drastic a few years ago with the other prostitute BS, and we will now too if we have to. It's just... uncomfortable - is that all you can think about for DLC, sex stuff? Are you obsessed with that? Sure seems that way.

The VIP mission "Haulage" is way too short, it's just so much fun doing it with the Phantom Wedge, especially since it got buffed and never takes damage anymore for ramming stuff. It would be nice picking up the cargo in LS, having to drive to LV, then to SF, and all the way back transporting other cargo. Just earning money for driving around. Oh god yeah im such a bored person i would do that.

GTA San Andreas had trucking missions, so I suppose that could be a mini business opportunity they could give us, or just add some trucking missions. Problem is I'm sure there'd be global signals and the like.

Relax dude, we have 0 info about the next update and we wanted to have fun/talk about what we want as a player + those things we talked about are in GTA SA so it's not Irrelevant to a GTA game ! 

+ Why some people should feel uncomfortable with some optional in-game outfits and jobs that people wear/do in real life as well? they can ignore!

 

If these ideas are not suitable for a GTA game, what can be suitable for a GTA game? This game needs new ideas for some fun DLCs! 

Imagine if they give Liberty City map expansion + a heist, it will feel soulless after a few weeks without story mode characters and new things to do! I'm sure this idea got canceled! 

 

I think if we look at GTASA we can have many good ideas as a DLC for GTAO! including those things... 

But R* made GTAO look like a game for kids + grinding stuff for selling shark cards and GTA+... it's just a FACT!

A brothel, a sex shop, kinky clothing etc. is like 80% the bonker knight comes up with, the rest is bonker reactions and some posts about actual other realistic ideas etc.. If he wants to play something kinky, he should just install Skyrim with Loverslab adult mods, and stop posting his sh*t here. Because it's just unrealstic that in the last few updates of GTA Online R* adds kinky stuff in any way. It's just nothing but nonsense.

What i would like in an update is seasons, spring, summer, autumn, winter, weekly changes of weather in GTA Online like Playground Games did in Forza Horizon 4 and partially in 5. They should bring back the animals and props from singleplayer into online. Just some quality of life stuff in general, to make use of the new consoles. It would make the map look less boring and more immersive that would already help a lot to make it less stale.

When Liberty City is not very likely for a Map expansion what about North Yankton? It would probably take time too because over 80% of the map is just a low textured flat surface with no Collision but the entire map is smaller than Liberty city and could maybe work like Cayo Perico.

 

I also like the concept from the north yankton topic with adding more city's that have different things

What if every week is a new season?

Imagine a DLC based around Kortz Center. 

 

It could take the same approach as the old DC&R followed up by a heist. Not necessarily in that order.

 

We could have en executive office/lounge right below the area where Micheal and Dave meet. 

 

A part of the Center could become an exhibit where players can hang out in with weekly rotating  artworks and art pieces to purchase. 

 

Obviously a sort of co-partnership again and our tasks could be promotion and security related.

Edit: Well me as a central european guy, we got actual seasons here, the weather is not always the same like in Los Angeles, i honestly got no idea how it is there. But i mean there must be some differences over the year.

 

Seasons is maybe a thing in GTA VI, if it takes place in a different region.

Ok, lets say eight weeks instead with every even number week is a hybrid of two seasons. Like when autumn turns to winter with more rain and odd chance of ice on the road. And with that they could ad tires for different seasons.

 

I wouldn´t say that the weather is brilliant in RDR2 with limitations with the game engine. But it is a move in the right direction...

I don't know if you ever played it all maxed out in 4K HDR, it looks amazing. The moonshine at night, if there is a storm, the awesome looking clouds and all that. It's just awesome. I haven't seen better weather effects in any other game yet.

I agree, it's getting silly. Also, to be honest, this is more Saint's Row's bag than GTA. GTA is generally risque and has plenty of suggestive and even adult themes. But the games never really descend into frat-boy sexual themes. Don't get me wrong, that's fun, and there's nothing wrong with these kinds of ideas that sort of all derive, at least in a sense, from that 1970's movie Animal House, with John Belushi and company. I don't think that's something Rockstar has ever been particularly interested. Yeah, you can get prostitutes in your car, and more funny than sexy, it bops up and down in GTA III, but it never really gets too sexual.

 

The strip club in GTAV/O is probably the one exception to this, but let's be honest. As much as they show topless women dancing, there is something almost tasteful and even artistic in how it's presented. Volition, on the other hand, loves their frat-boy sexual themes, and they do it well. You know what? Maybe GTA doesn't need septic trucks and the kinds of pimpin'/strip-club side diversions of a typical Saints Row game.
