I highly doubt that's how it would work. Why would cops protect criminals from other criminals? What you're suggesting sounds more like Vigilantes N Crooks.

Would it really matter that it doesn't make much sense? Just imagine the cops are corrupt. Edit: Or the griefed player is just calling the cops on the griefer, in an anonymous way, with a burner phone or from a phone booth or payphone.

 

It would bring back some balance into the game and would be fun at the same time.

I'm assuming not, if we get one it'll be like in the last couple years - Jul/Aug, with some filler new modes or maps in between like in the last 2 years.

I feel like C&C would only work as a game mode.

I'd expect C&C to be a game mode, but I also think it could work in freemode, if cop and crook were roles that worked like CEO or MC pres, and registering as either restricted your weapon loadout and vehicle selection. (Both expanding as you progress in your role.) But the problem I see with that approach is Rockstar probably couldn't implement it without major bugs.

Shouldn't something happen on the 14th June? Maybe PC players get the "E&E" content, and later in July or August the next DLC is released for current gen consoles and PC. Or a DLC combined with the release of PC "E&E".

Okay yeah if both sides had their weapons and vehicles restricted and people who weren't registered as either would be left alone then yeah I could see it working that way.

If they're shaking up event weeks, then ...maybe they're going to try something like they've done with RDO, where the event lasts for a month (and there's usually a theme throughout), but there are different specific activities/bonuses each week, like so:

[edit] ...also, since it's in the game files already, it wouldn't require an update to enable any of it - but it's still 'new' content, since it's not been available ever before (and most regular players probably don't even know it exists).

just out of curiousity, to the people that don't think LC is possible, do you think they would add it to the same playspace? if they did, and that's a big if, it would have it's own loading screen and you would have to choose which map to load in on, it wouldn't share the same cell/map

I dont think its impossible but I also just dont see the point either. All the activities, businesses, current heist set ups are all still going to be in LS. Obviously there will be activities added there but i dont think they would be enough to out weigh was already exists in LS past the "ooo new map" factor

A trucking dlc could have been fun but there is not a big house enough in north of the to act as a garage for our fleet of trucks.... Two is used for biker biz and the rest is the chicken factory! It feels like Paleto has a lot of cut content, that the map was supposed to be bigger in the north but was cut due to console limitation.

 

What kind of dlc in Paleto/Shandy Shores did you have in mind?

Probably a trucking DLC would be one of the most proper DLC's for that kind of map area. But i can see also some kind of drug plantation, disguised of a plantation of vegetables or corn, lol. Maybe using the Clucking Bell Factory as a front.

what they add in the beginning will never match the content available in LS, but I don't think it will matter, the map alone will be enough to get many people to play, especially those thoroughly tired of LS

Yes, that's it! We would sell normal merch, like dildos, dvd's, magazines, outfits and we could use that bussiness to have a small passive income from the money that npc's would give us by buying that stuff from our store. But we also would have an active side of the bussiness that would work as the crates bussiness, in this case, you would have to stole more valuable cargo like special editions of magazines, movies, outfits, etc., in larger quantities to be sold to special customers that would want that goods through contraband, because you would stole those items (in the form of crates) from previous owners (you could assault in a sneaky way some houses and stole those articles or stole from some shipment at the docks, etc.) and then you would sell to specific clients. And like the same model of the crates warehouses, sometimes you would have the chance to take some exclusive cargo, like, idk...some special dildo or a blow-up doll, or a kinky outfit like we had in GTA SA or even a Princess Robot Bubblegum kinky outfit, to be sold to special clients (just articles of that type just for the troll).

No? Ok. (no...really, think about that for a minute).

Just look at the past 2 years and how they handled pre-Summer DLC, I once again think that's what's happening. New modes/new event/whatever in June or so then DLC in Jul/Aug.

The thing is, unlike the last years there is no new mode there to be unlocked. So there needs to be a new patch to add something. Especially since PC doest have the E&E content yet.
