Simply because R* has made announcements on Fridays recently, there was literally no other sign  It could be anywhere next week for all we know if Tez's suggestion of "in two weeks or so" is correct! It never had to be today.

 

I'm glad we're back to the years-old cycle of expectation and disappointment instead of grasping at straws for something to speculate about though I guess?

I've had 2 vehicles that were fully insured get lost for good after getting blown up. The notice on the screen just said "your personal vehicle has been destroyed" without the option to call Mors. They were vehicles I stole from the street and got insured when merging Benny's wheels onto them so I don't know if it's a coincidence or if R* is up to something with glitched cars.

They should give us custom lobbies.. "Something new" for me would be a simple 28 person lobby with no Oppressor mk2's. I've played online for 300 days and have never seen this anomaly.. Isn't ever basically a p2p connection anyway? Why cant people host their own lobbies and say no to certain DLC's being applied? "Sorry you cant access your Nightclub, Terrorbyte, etc etc"

Fun way: Realistic Steak ™ dlc...

We now can Buy the slaughterhouse, we need do some setups, retrieve some machinery, after the place is setted up,we

 need get supplies, meaning fat cows...we go to some ranch and get a truck full of cows and deliver them...after that production starts...You Main objective is find the most refined steak to sell for higher prices, You can choose to feed the cows with different stuff, like feedlot or You can instakill them and produce quicker, results may vary...when steak is ready is stacked in crates and ready for shipment...during selling missions You might get attacked by animals rigts protestes who try to sabotage your sell.

In your Office You can get some trophies...source 1000 cows gives the "gold cow statue", selling more than 750 crates worth of steak You get the "Golden steak statue", killing more than 600 animal rights protesters gives the "bloody skid mark" trophy 

 

2 weeks or so more to go

The fanbase has gone more mental than usual with this one - I know time is pressing on and we're approaching the Summer release period, but Tez worded that tweet in a way that has me remaining neutral on the matter - I can prevent myself getting unnecessarily excited before I even know WHAT is coming up.

 

Bear in mind, 2 weeks from his Tweet is June 2nd. What we DO know is happening that day is;

- The focus on Freemode Events being the focus of weekly bonuses comes to an end.

- The next GTA+ period begins.

Which is also a good period to talk about whatever new GTA Online content, I'm really not sure why people expected news today specifically I mean there certainly was a *possibility* but nothing specific suggested that. I guess everyone's just hungry for some info.

 

Again what I think is gonna happen is that they're gonna give us something to munch on until Jul/Aug with some new modes or smaller additions, then the actual Summer pack. But the post that talks about that might include a teaser for it so we shall wait.
