Imagine you swinging a katana like a Bat lol.

Wouldn't look good.

I think animations are not the problem

They added new ones for the hatchet back then as well.

But i think katana would just be uneventful.

With a katana you would expect limbs or head to be chopped off.

But that would definitely not be the case with V.

I actually think VI may have the Katana.

Since RAGE now has dismemberment.

And with VI they could improve it more.

But who knows.

They added new ones for the hatchet back then as well.

At this point i wouldn't care if the katana would have animations like 3D era gta's. I really would love the katana, period. 🙂 Tbh, i don't think they had to go dismemberment route. Maybe too violent...and thinking that the vanilla gta's were way more violent than nowadays gta's, but i guess it's what we get from going from a game +18 to +17. Still though...in the 3D era was kinda goofy how you could just blow the head or arms of pedestrians like in gta 3.

Sometimes i only think that R* are only for the trolling. We have the ability to do ninja outfits, well, kind of, we have elements of "yokai culture":

I was thinking, how about a ‘heist’ where we stop a heist? Imagine they open up Rockford mall, and we are hired by Securoserv to protect an auction of an expensive item, given our experience, taking place there by some famous heist crew from out of town. We need purchase a high-end store there (e.g., clothing as a new legit business) for surveillance and we hire our old friend Vincent as our communications contact there (Justice for Vincent). The mall will act as a new social hub and can have new business missions too.

 

We need to do prep missions to identify the gang, destroy equipment, take out high-ranking members, and prepare also our own defenses. The finale’s difficulty will depend on your prep, essentially a hold the line mission where we run to different areas of the mall (both new interiors and outside as well) to stop the attackers / subdue the leader. After the first time (story based) we can lure other factions by paying for the auction of new items. More expensive the item, lures in a tougher faction with a bigger reward.

 

The missions would have different modifiers, changing how the attack plays out – e.g., EMP causes lights to go out, jammer affects your minimap, ballistic equipment, weaponized vehicles attack the parking garage. Maybe use our tactics? Oh no, they used a HVY Cutter to drill directly into the basement! Damn, used a stealth chopper to land in members we couldn’t detect. The Leader may come in some MOC / Avenger / Terrabyte as a boss vehicle. Just some thoughts – let me know what you think!

I really want the mall open and vincent involved, there is SO much potential for a Big dlc packed with so much stuff and different possible approaches, such as protect stuff or steal stuff, heists, robberies, etc...i Even sent My ideas to Rockstar feedback page...by the way, You should sent this idea to them...who knows, maybe they see several posts about the  mall opening and Vincent...they might give it a shot...

You guys are asking for mall, you ask for new heist or anti-heist, you guys want fightclub...others want CnC, pimp, restaurants, LC map expansion, but the truth is that we will not have none of this stuff if R* keep their recipe in nightclubs and tunings. :sadkek:

The funny thing is new NPCs these days use the same skeleton as the online character.

So basically for R* it would basically be a copy and paste job to add them to the player.

But they...just don't want to lol

Idk why.

I think the glowing shoes from lazlow was just bc everyone wanted them lol.

But what other times did R* add NPC clothing?

Toe Shoes are pretty much requested...i think...right? Paige use them, but so far, nothing. We have some cool patterns of this "vice city" vibe, very colourful and with palm trees, but it's in a shape that makes our character look pretty fat, instead of looking like Tommy, we look like Diaz.

I'm not trying to body shame here, lol, i'm just saying that the pattern of this t-shirts are nice (we got some with LSSS and Cayo Perico, but it's not exactly the same thing. Somethin like this:

liberty city honestly as much as it would be very novel

you have to know the limits of R to carry a complete city and that there is life pff
if perico fell it cost him insurance
liberty city is triple

We have to take into account that CP was done from home so some lack of optimization. And the purpose was only for the heist or it became only that due to deadlines or not possible for make it different from home. GTA Online will not die at least for more 3 years, or better saying, not until they don't have GTA VI to launch. So, DLC's will come, then it's a matter of wanting to do them with quality or not. But truth be told, so far the recipe: "give them some cool cars and call it a day", works.

This gun is just bad, even MK2 version will never compare with stock Carbine or stock Carbine Special. Its really obvious when you freeaim, maybe with full assist its better, but its not something you can trust like Advanced or other rifles. At longuest range I think MK2 Carbine is the best, first person iron sight with big scope to see the heads better.

I was talking about GTA IV (it might be just 'carbine' instead) , it's the most accurate non sniper weapon as far as I know and it's packing enough punch, the game would like to tell you it's the high tier and the ak the low tier.

 

The local ak in GTA Online is still low tier and still no wooden finish or good orange tint to make it look like an AK47.

 

The advanced rifle had a good iron sight if not the best, it's sticking out well above the gun, the assault rifle not so much.

 

And yet, the zoom power of the ar is on the high tier side.

I'm just waiting to see how much bad can it become, because it will be something...would be cool if this remained as the bonus they are giving now, half of it it's just stuff that you can even get in the game, or just some different colour pattern for glasses, for example, or for now, sh*tty livery patterns. But i doubt that they will not improve the quality of it. :sadkek:

It also boggles my mind how they put a brand like "Expanded and Enhanced" and so far, no animals in online, no new npc cars on the street, no new building interiors, but hey...this last one i will still not say a thing bcz so far we just got a filler mini-dlc for consoles, but animals and different npc vehicles i thought that if to come, that would be something for release day of E&E.

Not to mention that the way P2p works in GTA Online would make that new system unsatisfying, like they can make the animations and overhaul the entire melee system to make it great but because of the lag and bad connection it would be complete sh*t at the end of the day.

I think i'm far from being the only person in the entire gta community and even of this forum that want a pimp dlc. :cringekek: 

I wasn't the first one to talk about it, but maybe one that tried to propose that dlc theme in a more consolidated groundly idea, like how the dlc could work, it's limits in what concerns gta franchise with the subject, etc. And one of the higher voices against the anti "this isn't a subject for a criminal simulator game, despite being part of it since the beginning of the franchise and we dont want to piss off women ans if we defended this dlc we could be considered misogynists, so let's just maintain this game family friendly with the murdering, stealing, drugs and corruption components" speech. 😅

Do you really think that Sony/Xbox or R* will promote this kind of DLC ?

"Only this month, 40% on Vespucci's brothel, only on PS5" or "Doubled incomes on brothel for GTA+ members".

 

Some subjects are more taboo than others, murder and drugs are less taboo than sex, at least in the United States. I think R* wants to promote each DLC, and this is clearly something that would be hard to do with a DLC like this.

I think we can do without this kind of DLC, it's not really interesting. Where do we draw the line next ? Human trafficking ?

And Lazlow wore the blue ones.

So everyone wanted them and with the next dlc (Arena War) they added them to the player

Just scratch that Pimp DLC idea @VitoCorleone1992, it's nothing but nonsense and you know that.

 

I would like a car and motorcycles focused DLC again, a chop shop where we can bring cars and motorcycles to steal the cars and bikes parts would be nice. Maybe we could save parts to tune our own vehicles, or we could sell the parts on the black market.

 

Just call it Chop Shop DLC and done. Or whatever the preferred word for it is.

Of course...human trafficking, we would draw the line there, wtf...it would be in the terms of what was were present in past titles, never went human trafficking route an thanks for that. But you made me laugh there with how R* would promote the bonus weeks of brothels. :prismkek: You're right, it would be problematic. I think best case scenario theu have to be "careful" with the language and i guess that bussiness probably would only work out if you were not the owner but doing some favours for the pimp like transport the girls and protect them from violent customers, must like in the line of the Jizzy B missions. But i guess that would be a theme for just some side missions (like pay phone hits) of a dlc which the theme was about something else. 

 

Still, opening hornbills to work just like vanilla would be some fresh air.

I have to agree and now after what you said, i'm laughing my ass off in imagine how R* would pull out the bussiness in the newswire as bonus week. :kekw: "get free lap dances", "2x $ in hookers revenue" "bring 10 girls to clients and win the exclusive item, the 'you've been horny, receive your bonk tee'. :kekw:

 

Something like opening Just a free mode strip club (hornbills) and some side quests from a pimp that toke part in some way from the main dlc theme, that would be more reasonable, like Nii also agrees, here below.

R* won't open that box of pandora, that is for sure, and that is a good thing. Like @Niii mentioned how would they promote that, imagine how the trailer would look like, the social media and regular media sh*tstorm would mean the end of GTA. They would get sued, hated and all that.

 

Just scratch that Pimp DLC idea @VitoCorleone1992, it's nothing but nonsense and you know that.

 

I would like a car and motorcycles focused DLC again, a chop shop where we can bring cars and motorcycles to steal the cars and bikes parts would be nice. Maybe we could save parts to tune our own vehicles, or we could sell the parts on the black market.

 

Just call it Chop Shop DLC and done. Or whatever the preferred word for it is.

Yeah it should go into that direccion.

I even would prefer a DLC which expands old mechanics. It´s a shame that we got new options but limited to a little number of vehicle. I am talking about custom options like interior and engine options, stance option, liveries, etc. It doesn´t matter if it´s at Bennys or at LSC. These options should be expaned to new and big number of old vehicle.
