If i am allowed to say it but i think Rockstar Games gave up on the Liberty City expansion for Gta online because they are thinking that it would cost more money and would be more work and it is worth it in the end

probably, as much as we all want a new map, its not as easy as just porting the map over and calling it a day, the map will look dated, textures will need to be remade, new buildings will need to be added etc. and its probably not worth it for them cause they know they can get the same amount of players if they did something easier

Well, that's the theme of Event Weeks sorted until June 2nd.

 

Also, god damn those f*cking Event Cargo bonuses, something that people would have unquestionably got as part of The Guest List from 2018 - for reference, here's a complete list of items that are just sitting dormant on the files, many going as far back as 2017.

 

Sidenote; I really wanted those Red Glow Bracelets for a specific outfit of mine, but even if I were willing to pay GTA+, I can't get them because console shortage. If the Red Glow Glasses are given the same treatment, I'm gonna be greatly displeased.

So after RDO, GTAO started getting monthly events too. Maybe no more summer DLCs lol

The event cargo rewards are pretty lame, and most of players had unlocked it already, more evidence that all that stuff unreleased since 2017 Will be most likely GTA+ exclusive

I get that if the point is to give new players stuff from previous years...but for that line of thought, i also would like to have sh*t from fraking 2013-2014 that i couldn't have since i just got the game with the pc release in 2015 and R* may i add, never bother themselves to add those stuff in any other ocasion. So...for the same line of thought...i don't get why they just don't give stuff that they never had instead of re-release them. Well, i think i have those outfits, so, at least i don't have to bother to do those BB's and jump from session to session.

P.S.: The Ron missions are new or are the same old ones? (if not, then another thing that blows my mind...didn't they had new Ron unreleased missions?).

Just do it along the lines of normal exploit reports in other programs. Send them a notice what the problem is, then divulge it publicly after some time.

Either it's fixed by that point, an already known problem or rockstar chose to ignore it until the problem becomes so unbearable in news sites that they have to actually fix it.

Hell, let's go back even further, in GTA III they've planned to have Tom Novy, irl DJ, appear in missions. Sure, he was cut, but it was really late cut, judging by the leftovers.

What about radio DJs? They are played by irl musicians or radio hosts, ever since GTA III. MC Codebreaker, Stretch Armstrong or, most importantly, Lazlow are not made up people, they truly are DJs and artists.

What about stand up comedians in IV?

All I'm saying is that real life people were always part of the GTA, as long as they stick to the ingame lore and don't mention Detroit every 5 minutes, I'm good.

If the exclusive liveries of GTA+ would only be in the lvl of HSW brand liveries, i would be ok, but, i doubt that they will not f*ck the peasants somehow. Like...those unreleased tuners dlc liveries.

Between, they mentioning Detroit is something that blows my mind...now he have real names of real lifes cities, mixed with fake names of real life cities...what? At leaat i would say itls pretty safe to assume that Detroit will never be a gta city as a free roam map.

Because:

1) GTA is a parody of the America, most importantly its hyper-consumerism. Always has been, and hopefully always will be. The moment they add the real life brands, this whole commentary falls in shambles. As I said, I don't mind it (or at least I stopped caring) when its some fairly small clothing company, but the moment we're going to get Nike, Adidas or Gucci is the day I stop playing GTAs. At least the modern titles

2) I have enormous, humongous respect for Steven Walsh, who was a Lead Graphic Designer for modern GTAs (as well as Manhunt, LA Noir and Max Payne). Almost every brand, every logo, every billboard went thru him. I'm truly in awe everytime I see his work. He is pretty much responsible for the looks and feel of HD Era.

3) This sh*t is just breaks the lore and immersion. It straight up reminds me of stuff like this:

 

4) Rockstar is not some struggling indie company who needs a backup of larger brands. This sh*t is for mullah and for mullah only and imo it's as disgusting as GTA+ or Trilogy. Nanosecond they team up with some bigger company it'll lead to more and more companies trying to get in. Imagine an ad for GAP, Coke or Walmart while you load to GTAO...

 

As for the cities, it was always implied that both original and GTA versions coexist, somehow. Look no further that VC:

Well, true. That would suck. But let's not forget that the some of the gta spirit and mindset is long gone. We aren't in the 2000's anymore...you can see today that R* or bcz is under the feud of T2, so who knows where the responsability of one ends where the other starts, but it have gone to the lengths of a CnC DLC being post-poned or maybe totally thrown in the trash can bcz a very bad thing that happened irl, but if was plausible not to launch it in that summer for being a recent thing, i guess two year later i think it was time enough and still, nothing (but i can still wait to be surprised, so impress me R*...), they look like those lawyers that back in the day tried to sue them and finish them bcz "video games are responsible for someone become violent in real life and not bcz that person is already damaged for a platoon of reasons...

 

And well, from there we could go to a lot of stuff that they R* and/or T2 wanna to avoid for money reasons, so they go full PC route...i have read in an article that tr4ns npc's got erased from the next gen consoles, bcz some people saw some dudes killing them in livestreams, so they inserted the "hate" argument there...but then again even if that's true for some stooges that did that, well 1) even if they keep their limit in a video game, i think it would be a good thing and 2) what about killing old people NPC's? Maybe there's some "geriatrophobics" out there...and what about racists that play the game and kill black people, or asian people, or white people, whatever are their hate towards this or that ethnicity? At that point then we would have to take away every NPC of the game...and we could go to a pimp dlc that hardly will see the end of the day, because, idk...what's the fear here? feminists? the idea that every woman is a sex slave forced to be in that bussiness, so let's not "advocate" prostitution...? Because, now that i remember...i don't recall the last time i saw some Altruist naked and with is pee-pee without pants (tbh i don't go to the altruist camp in ages, but there's that mission of the Agency that you can have to go to the forest rescue a vip and he's being attacked by altruists, all of them are dressed, idk if that was something that was already been taken away, not that i miss see their pee-pees, but you get the idea...

 

Well, in short, i think everyone noticed that there was some gta lore and identity that has been taken away bcz politics and that's very bad for the freedom of expression/freedom of thought and takes away the very special and sharp social criticism that Rockstar used to do and that we loved.
