I think was new Ron missions , icons founded in the files...plus that surfer cut from bennys... hopefully that ecola - sprunk event goes live for all players instead of GTA+ only members

Let’s talk more about the LC skyline reflection at the Opium Nights being discovered on last gen/PC and removed from new gen.  How do you guys feel about it being there in the first place and then removed?  
 

With all of the LC references and characters in LS (plus the LC skyline reflection facing the airport), it seems clear that Rockstar wants to bring LC into GTA Online at some point.

 

It really wouldn’t surprise me to see LC remastered into 4K.  Question remains:  if LC is being remastered, will it be for a GTA Online expansion or simply a GTA IV remaster?  Or both?

Lol LC is on the other side of the country, they wouldn't put it next to LS so it can be seen in the distance.

Are you really saying that you believe that R* were able to look into the future and knew that GTAO would be a massive success?

Trust me.

No one at R* expected that.

No Developer would do that.

Deadlines change all the time.

So no way in hell would they already have known what they would be doing 8 years down the road.

LC is not coming.

And if it would, you would have seen teases on this thread months ago.

And then definitely not summer update

Past statements and dreams don't always come true. Sometimes things are moved/removed/abandoned due to other events or realised limitations down the line. I kind of expected it less from R* (and Leslie Benzies) to be honest, as they have always tried to keep tight lipped in an official capacity, but nobody is flawless. Even the new versions suffer from the same past issues so I wouldn't expect too much development with the current Online, besides DLC similar to what we've already had.

Lester and Pegasus are free on consoles (including Next-gen), meanwhile PC gets tunables for 0 cost for destroying PV, but the free call isn't there

I have the suspicion that the event will just join the impressively large list of dripfeed clothes and vehicle liveries that are locked away and have been long forgotten to be enabled by R* in the game.

Where did I state that?

I’ve been wanting an LC expansion for like 6 years now. As much as I’d love it i know it’s a (crack)pipe dream. best we can hope for is GTA 6 online to come for a change of scenery and I’m not holding my breathe.

Then why did you mention some reflections of LC on the hotel airport... Unless you were implying that, but ok, my bad. And no they wouldn't tease LC by applying those reflections, they're just reused asset.

Reflections of the LC skyline can be seen on the entrance doors of the Opium Nights Hotel across from the airport on PS4/XB1/PC.  They are obviously not real reflections but simply an easter egg.

Well then perhaps they were simply estimating that the next GTA game would be out by 2021.

I would love to see Rockstar’s planning board for GTA Online going back to 2013:  what is/was planned, what was scrapped, etc.

Hello, is there any way to see the changes made on this page on April 18, 2022? I needed to check a command, that's when I noticed the page had been updated recently. Mere coincidence, but April 18, 2022 was also the last time qalive was updated, before finally moving/updating again today. I saw the discussion about the PC version (oof) so I thought maybe there were some changes or even a quick addition/removal of a command that day without anyone noticing. Did the last update bring a new command? (probably a typo fix).

Unfortunately that URL is excluded from the Wayback Machine as R* never allowed crawling in the Support website, but I'm assuming what changed was the Microsoft Support page that now links to a Windows 11 page. The noChunkedDownload option was probably also added at some point for R* Launcher compatibility.

Im not arguing that LC is coming or that R* knew GTA Online would be such a success BUT they did call it GTA Online and not GTA V Online which clearly means they planned for Online to not be limited to just LS.  Also,  R* not knowing 8 years in advance is a strawman argument.  They definately did predictions and planning for online years in advance tho.   Lastly,  Im confused by your confidence in what R* wouldnt do after knowing and even acknowledging in your post that even R* doesnt know whats ahead and changes things all the time.

Hell, let's go back even further, in GTA III they've planned to have Tom Novy, irl DJ, appear in missions. Sure, he was cut, but it was really late cut, judging by the leftovers.

What about radio DJs? They are played by irl musicians or radio hosts, ever since GTA III. MC Codebreaker, Stretch Armstrong or, most importantly, Lazlow are not made up people, they truly are DJs and artists.

What about stand up comedians in IV?

All I'm saying is that real life people were always part of the GTA, as long as they stick to the ingame lore and don't mention Detroit every 5 minutes, I'm good.

 

Really, what DOES irk me the wrong way are real life companies, that made into recent updates. Sure, they are just relatively small clothing companies, but the day R* adds any big brand or irl car (which in recent years they are borderline anyways), I'm outta here.

Between, they mentioning Detroit is something that blows my mind...now he have real names of real lifes cities, mixed with fake names of real life cities...what? At leaat i would say itls pretty safe to assume that Detroit will never be a gta city as a free roam map.

Since I restarted on PS4, my pride doesn't let me run from most battles. I win more than I lose but when I'm losing its aggravating.

Got spawn trapped on Vespucci beach while doing some work. Glitched arms marksman rifle spamming 400+ level. Die. Spawn on the beach like 2 feets from where I was with nooooo cover around. Rinse and repeat. Finally out sniped him, sprinted to cover of one of the lifeguard lookouts. He started spamming RPGs but got a little too close and I was able to use my Combat MG to gun him down. From there, ran into the city and had a proper battle.

Is there a faster solo way to increase strength other than beating up civs over and over? Feels like my bar isn't moving
