My auto shop job board didn't change/update for two days, so I did The Lost job to try to get it to update. It was replaced with the Bank job, but still won't update. Can't get a Union Depository dammit.

No way in hell were keeping 10%. Players with hacked trillions arriving with Elon levels of cash would break any in-game economy instantly.

 

At best, we might be able to port our existing characters over and be given a $1 million - $4 million bonus as a "thanks for playing GTA Online!" Ala the starter pack with current transfers. 

 

What concerns me is how nothing was said about the loss of save data and progress when transferring from last to current gen GTA. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull that sh*t again, transfer to GTA6 Online deletes all save progress and character data from GTA5 Online. All the time and money spent over the last decade *POOF* gone.

 

We all know they'd do it and not even blink an eye.

Doesn't update even after starting one, going outside and calling to cancel it?

Money probably won't carry over anyway because they are likely going to change the "economy" in 6. Major adjustments to prices and payouts, especially if the rumors about crypto being in the game are true.

Why would anyone be so stupid and transfer over the char to GTA VI Online, for 1-4 million if they would lose all progress in GTA V Online? I wouldn't transfer my char, if that would mean i would lose everything, i mean seriously WTF.

I see it now. The first mission in GTA Online 2 will have our characters pour all of our hard earned GTA Online money into crypto resulting in us losing it all.

Seeing how much this topic is becoming futurology about GTA Online 2 and not the next DLC, I wonder if someone could create a thread about their future expectations or whether we should keep all our stuff or not?

I haven't tried that, but once I lock in a mission wouldn't I be stuck with it on the board even after quitting?

Yes, lets speculate about gta online "1" dlc's...bcz gta online "2" is still a long way away.

Why wouldn't they? They've already done it.

 

If anything the fact they got away with it with the move from last get to current just proved to them they can and the vast majority of players wont care. And again, they won't TELL us this will happen. 

 

I'm not saying this WILL happen, but I would not be surprised in the least if it did.

I reckon that the 'existing player bonus' will be more like the Ultimate Edition bonus for Red Dead Online, where you get some decent guns (that take dozens of ranks and a fair amount of money to earn normally) for free straight away, plus bonus XP and cash until Rank 20. Some kind of head-start, basically - not sure if it'd be for 'anyone with GTA V online data', 'anyone who hit rank 100' or some other specific criteria.

 

But as for transferring characters and progress? It's virtually guaranteed that the character creator is going to be more advanced than the current GTAO one, so it's likely that none of the settings will match, and so your appearance won't carry over. And then beyond that, what about cars? There are some 500+ cars in GTAO, which more-or-less doubled the number in base GTA V - and with over a decade of tech advances between V and VI, the new car models are probably going to be more detailed and realistic, not to mention quite possibly redesigned. Do people really expect that every car in GTAO is going to carry over, with all the same customisation options? And if so, you're going to have people start GTA VI's Online with hundreds of fully-upgraded personal vehicles, compared to new players with zip.

 

I'm not seeing it - instead, I fully expect that GTA VI's Online will be a do-over, as a chance to level the playing field (which'll make people more inclined to buy microtransactions or GTA+ to get ahead!), and with little or no assets shared with the current Online. And the flipside there is that if you're worried about losing your GTA V progress, don't worry: it'll still be there, for however long Rockstar keeps V's Online running (probably many, many years - although no new content once VI arrives). Just ...don't expect to carry anything over to the new game.

In fact, Chen Tao's combination is very good. His tight suit is matched with a casino shirt. There is a gold necklace in the collar of the shirt and a gold watch on his left hand. I also want to match his clothes like him.

There will be NPCs in suits at the entrance of the casino. Their clothes are suits with vests inside, their shirts are open, and they are very beautiful, much like the clothes Tony wore in the final battle in Scarface.

At least if R* allowed to make a cemetery of weapons/properties/Pegasus vehicles/contacts. Just a way to hide them definitely, everywhere, for good, without refund.

Not sure about now but if you called and cancelled the job it used to reset the board.

Dear Rockstar, you can't erase our memories..your sh*t is clear as day. GTAO needs to be rebalanced but you only go back and change weird little sh*t. I know 3 monkeys who can sort through all those emails you've gotten from dedicated fans over the last 5-10 years... Just WOW

They are coming to PC, dataminers found hsw stuff in preparation, empty folders for upcoming archives, and stuff related to hao and that race with the turismo hsw You Need complete to unlock hsw garage...

But we still need wait a couple of months...Iam going for the wine anodized Pearl for My verlierer...

Not sure if it's a bug or intentional! Some of the bugs that came with E&E (PS5/XS) seem to have been carried across to the PS4/X1/PC versions with last weeks update

I still wonder whether Rockstar will start teasing the Summer DLC in the next week or so, and release it at the end of May. 

The kicker, of course, is that Plussies will be able to play it straight away... whereas non-subscribers won't be able to access anything until the end of June. 

 

I don't imagine even R* would be that short-sighted (not to mention the inherent issues with some folks in a lobby being able to access content / jobs / vehicles whilst sharing the space with those that can't), but it's a possibility. 

 

(although it would be low-key hilarious if the PvP rebalance was bundled with the Summer DLC and affected Plussies but not other people for that first few weeks)
