So the color of these doors changed. Honestly, for the better. Love the new turquoise!

The old one was the same shade of blue as the rest of the walling around the door.

You know, reading through a lot of this thread, makes me think that a lot of people want the next DLC's content to be like some kind of an...oh, I don't know, Expanded or something? And maybe, also they want...oh, what's the word for it? Oh yeah Enhanced? Yeah, I think that's what players really want and—

pc is 1.59 in the files not 1.56

I think they gonna add option to enable hdr, dx 12, ray tracing, but smoke and fire effect would be just upgraded without option to choose them unless they are specifically tied to directx12 in which case they will be disabled if using dx 11 for example.

They put hao npc assets in the contract dlc update, we should've known it was Hao and E+E

Can anyone on a lower spec (or who commonly monitors their game performance) tell me if I'm crazy or if the game feels smoother? I used to get frame rates in the 60's inside the Diamond Casino and I was getting about 75+ now. Could be a fluke.

It's probably placebo, but here on my base PS4 the game also feels a bit smoother inside the LS Car meet, I used to get like sub 20 fps in a good day in there.

okay, this is awesome, two things, one, not sure why people are still skeptical, I was POSITIVE after the version for gen9 was literally rated on PC, now this, I am 110% sure we are getting the next gen update on PC

two, the last gen patch could have the adjusted payouts and the prologue magazine fix

looks like a bug, that door color is from one of the other color options

I was getting some in Game freezes lately, can PC fellers tell if this is improved , or maybe i am the only one getting those...

With a 960 gtx and i5 I'd normally get 30fps max inside the casino. Now, it's hovering around 40fps.

I had FPS drops in my autoshop, now it's stable. Same goes for other areas which got FPS drops.

When i get stable fps driving at full speed on winewood boulevard then i would call it an improvement, but that's more issue with my old i5, although if they improve performance with E&E to at least use all cores evenly i might see better frames, all i want is stable locked fps all time when i'm driving which honestly i doubt it will happen until i replace my CPU. Gonna try the game later and see if frames improved in any way. Another indicator of improvement are frames inside LS car meet and casino.

Others like Vainglorious Gaming are reportedly having wonky problems that weren't there before like stuttering or weird shadows... Which shouldn't even be possible given this man's PC hardware (i9-12900k and 3080Ti)

was that not part of the props before you set up the agency? if they are then it could be a bug, if they aren't then it's def a teaser that the next update will have a new client

The LSCM feels smoother to me as well, pretty sure I dropped into the high 50 FPS and now I can hold above 60 in the more demanding areas and get more GPU-bound. I was driving around for a while, pretty sure there were performance improvements which might mean some of the Gen9 refactoring may have been applied to PC already.

I'm polling it on Twitter as well to see if anyone in the wider community notices anything too. Pretty sure improvements have been made though, especially seeing that there's more reports in this thread and I don't seem to be crazy. I've heard from modding communities all scripts have been recompiled as well, there could have been code improvements.
