Some promising news for pc. While nightclub supplies bump is nice it seems they forgot to bump nc safe to the level of consoles which is the more important nc bump. 

About those chameleon colors found in the files, i have a bad feeling they gonna be exclusive to gta+...

Well, current-gen consoles have the Chameleon colours available so I doubt that. Exclusive liveries like we're already seeing yeah.

 

Also, despite the fact that PC already has HSW text strings, I don't see anything pertaining to GTA+ in the text files.

It wouldn't make sense to lock these stuff but yeah, we're talking about Rockstar, it's possible.

Sure, but everyone will have to get them eventually.

 

NC income is probs a tunable tweak or server-side like payphone stuff

IIRC, the exclusivity ended one week later. You only got EARLY access, and free access to the HSW liveries.

But the OLD Gunrunning era stuff? Eh, if you wanted them, you'd've got them on by now.

Also, I found what causes sh*tty headlights

the falloff is set to 0 instead of some proper number and the exponent is too high.

2 or so bad values lol. Like how some cars have mega reverse lights or the GTO has really intense tailights, all that can be easily fixed!

the interesting thing is that a file that handles the item display in LSC contains only the 10 paints we have right now. so they are definitely not dripfeed in the traditional sense where they can just flick them on through tunables. rockstar would have to release a title update adding them to the list.

 

there's also an oddity: for some reason Red Rainbow Flip (194) and Blue Rainbow Flip (195) use the exact same ramp texture (vehicle_paint_ramp_flip024). that might be a typo, or the paints are just unfinished.

 

unfortunately r* did not include the ramp textures, so right now the only way to find out how those paints look like exactly is by modding your savefile on ps4 to make the vehicles use the chameleon ID's and then transferring that save over to ps5. i'm honestly thinking of spending that 10 bucks for the sp upgrade just for the sake of research

It seems to me or the blips on map menu was renamed and rearranged? (PC)
Additionally I can't find an option to hide Martin's Dispatch, Gerald's Last Play and Simeon's Repo missions (before it was possible)

Yes, talk about the most unnecessary change they have made in a while.

 

It just renamed the submenu, reshuffled the order of things, remove the option to hide them all and then there's the oversight of not being able to hide Simeon's, Gerald and Martin's blips too.

 

Also, no option to hide that new blip for Lamar's lowrider missions. 

 

As it stand, this change is a net negative.

 

Honestly, if someone here could tell me what the f*ck was the point of this change, I'd be glad to hear because I just can't see any reason for this at all.

I suppose they figured that the Expanded Dong version had those mission markers on them they figured it'd be fair for previous gen to suffer through having to look at them as well.

 

PC, Ps4 users: Well, we might not have Hao's stupid chameleon colors and fast cars, but at least we can hide SimeonMartin and Lamar's blips

 

Rockstar: NOOOOOO!ALL HANDS ON DECK "FIX" THIS ISSUE NOW AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH

 

PC Ps4 players: While you're at can you fix your antichea-

 

Rockstar: NOT A PRIORITY!

modkits for gen9 cars fill in the gaps left in between the contract modkits, as expected. meaning they were developed alongside the contract, or were held back from releasing with the contract to have something for gen9

oh that reminds me i can finally update that table with the new cars

 

also the hsw upgrade has different values because it changes the acceleration. too little and the car barely makes a difference, too much and the car becomes a slidy undrivable mess. so it has to vary from car to car.

The bug with slow character switching after switching from GTA Online to Story Mode has finally been fixed, as it affected all platforms. PC doesn't seem to have any bug fixes other than the Gen9 files being pushed and the payouts etc being adjusted to be just like Gen9... I'm assuming PC will be seeing a completely separate patch with everything at once.

Now the only question is if they gonna charge something and i don't see how they gonna do that without separating player base.

I don't know what the hell is going on since the migration of my save to the PS5, but every other time I load up the game, it steals various ammo from my arsenal. Mostly all ammo from some of the throwables and heavy weapons. Oh! And I forgot, sniper rounds too. Fireworks Launcher was gone forever, though, since you can't buy them unless if's July 4th.

 

Oh, and why the hell does this supposedly expanded and enhanced version STILL freeze my game in my Agency, like it did on the PS4?

I don't think so, I don't think they would put all of those Gen9 dummy files in the PC version if they intended to charge people for it (i.e. they would keep the files away from this PC build and keep it only in a new separate GTA V). We'll see tho.
