Oh, gawd, the SuperVolito 'landing' - every f***ing time...  In that Escape Escort run, someone bailed out on a rooftop (risky, but OK, whatever), so the pilot/CEO just ...hopped out and faceplanted (fortunately they were close enough to the ground that they didn't die). Except that meant that the chopper started spiralling out of control - again, got lucky, and it didn't wind up flipping over completely and exploding, but it was touch and go.

 

I don't even blame Rockstar's mission design, there - how hard is it to land a helicopter in this game, ferchrissakes?

The "Champion" isn't suitable for time trials... Yeah, you're absolutely right Rockstar. Just another odd restriction in a list that numbers in the 100's

I was customizing some cars in my auto shop and because of the radio bug I gave up on trying to set my properties radio so I was listening to whatever the game picked for me and it was Blonded, I wasn't really paying attention then I heard "the all new Pfister Neon" and I went "wait, what?" apparently they added commercials for dlc vehicles (or at least one), which is cool, and seems off topic, I know, I'm getting there... actually I'm there, wouldn't it be cool if they added the new commercials to the old radio stations? that one small thing would refresh the vanilla radio stations and wouldn't (I shouldn't think) be too hard to do...

then again we want dlc vehicles in traffic and that doesn't look likely, oh well, one can hope

Renewing the TV would also be cool (coomercials and shows). For example, they could have done one fro the casino opening. But looks like the tv is in a time bubble, we still have Steve Haines (dead, canonically) airing his tv show and tracey de santa in fame or shame.

People probably aren't gonna like my B&M today.

So there are plenty of others who moan about Rockstar "milking" GTA V and Online and I really have to ask... what do you expect them to do? Make it free to play? Which company makes a decision to stop producing or selling their top-of-the-line product that accounts for a large percentage of net profit? That doesn't make any logical business sense whosever. Bentley (cars) have sold their Continental for nearly 20 years - are they "milking" that (there's plenty of other examples that suit) or does such an example not qualify? Whilst complaining about GTA V / Online, most people don't even mention all the other RSG titles that are still being sold that are much older than GTA V, so are people really complaining about GTA V / Online, or shark cards, or something else? Is it simply V's fame has gotten so much traction that people get a bit tunnel-visioned, repeating what 'everyone else says' whilst failing to perhaps see the bigger picture? 

 

Don't get me wrong, Rockstar's handling of various things over the last (?) 6-9 months has not been good at all - somewhat shameful actually (and the realisation set in that RSG aren't the good company that they should be and support for them should perhaps be halted) - but I'm not sure if this particular 'milking' complaint is all that valid. The majority of people who do moan about this have played the game for a while anyway so I'm not really sure what they're trying to accomplish. Maybe venture down other avenues rather than sounding like a broken record that's never going to get fixed. Rockstar's proven time after time they don't care about the players. 

 

I will however counterclaim this by suggesting that Rockstar should've have perhaps made GTA Online free for both 'next-gen' consoles to perhaps entice and attract more, in particular recognition of console shortages, with Xbox getting it free for 3 months and PS 6 months... but I dunno - I think some folks need to wake up and smell the coffee a bit and be a bit more realistic. It's true... GTA+ isn't good value for established players - that's a given at the moment - but do people deliberately ignore the simple fact that a $500,000 value shark card costs more than GTA+, and doesn't come with anything else? Anyway that's a whole other topic of complaint that I won't go into here as I'm 50-50 on that one, depending on which way my farts blow.

Have you ever seen what happens, if you drive that monster truck with the flag in the back, with high framerate? The flag of that truck has physics that is tied to the framerate. It goes completly nuts with 120 FPS.

I wouldn't mind if flags in the game world and on this vehicle are at 60 FPS, it would look smoother sure, but it isn't really needed. This is one of those things i barely pay any attention to. It can keep it's 30 FPS, it's okay. I don't even wanna imagine what happens, driving that Marshall with 170 FPS, 120 FPS is already completly weird.

Ah I remember when those fun haters removed vehicles with "special". Like vigilante and scramjet. Right before they added the new time trials. Nope we better disable the fun since the payout doubled. Even though you can still dominate any of them with an 811 with zero challenge...

The car upgrades being delayed and locked behind gta- is just the beginning. At one point they will only be behind gta-, other "content", dlcs, future car releases, weapons, properties, you name it....

Because the game has gotten so stale for me, I can't play it more than 30 minutes without getting bored to death.

 

Literally Hao Time Trials and some new cars / upgrades is the smallest thing they could have done for us PC players...

 

Imagine we still have to wait like 3 months for Summer DLC, seriously lame.

For me the worst isn't that it is worthless, its how they will sell it on a platform(PC) that have been completly helpless for several consecutive years...(aka they're not competent enough to make a better anticheat for good), you know its like selling a heated swimming pool to someone homeless...

 

The game is totally crap with such amount of cheaters able to crash, using godmode fkg everywhere. Now I'm getting network error 8/10 I'm joining a pub lobby, and I know its not normal, its something similar to modkick, these little scumbags are filtering me while I'm loading.

ALSO, the reverse route of the video would be quicker because downhill too. (1:12.578 is 17.4% higher avg speed or ~24mph at 140mph than 1:25.197)
 

 

I tried getting 60 online and no, pariah still feels faster because of the power.

Also I think GTA fps has gone down somewhat since release because of all the spaghetti mess even in SP, a cleanup with vulkan will probs fix that tho and even improve it.

Afaik i know this is the order of the cars with highest top speed.

 

1. Banshee 900R (only faster than 811 with 170 FPS)

2. 811 (faster than Banshee at 60-120 FPS)

3. Italy RSX (FPS do matter but not so much like it is with 811 or Banshee)

4. Pariah (fast it doesn't matter how much FPS)

 

In a normal stunt race with supers 811 always wins if it's a fast track, Italy RSX is best overall sports car for all races. Italy RSX vs Pariah. Italy RSX ALWAYS wins. Italy should be in the supers class IMO. It's even faster and has better handling than the Furia.

Enough of this FPS, and graphics and whatever argument. I've hidden the last few posts because everyone else was moving on and yet the issue reappeared. Open a topic in the GTA V section about "E&E" on PC if you desire so much to discuss this stuff, this is completely off-topic at this point.

I changed my graphics settings down to 1080p yesterday and tested some cars speeds at 165-170 FPS, the Banshee 900R really is the fastest car in the PC version, i always thought the 811 would be faster, but no. The 811 is only faster at 120 FPS or something, but at 165-170 FPS the Banshee is faster. So the topspeed bars in cars stats aren't complete BS. The problem is the acceleration of the Banshee is too weak with lower FPS to reach higher top speed.

 

While playing with "normal" FPS so 60-120 the 811 is still the fastest, haven't tested 144, i was too lazy.

 

I bookmarked that same race from the video.

All cars have already been "gimped" a bit. I didn't get anywhere near 1 minute and 12 seconds, i only managed to do 1 minute 16 seconds i think.

Broughy tests everything at 30 fps for consistency and in his testing the 811 is faster at 132.5mph with the Banshee being 131.0mph

811 is a touch slippy tho, as is the RSX. GTO seems faster for me esp on tubes.

Pariah has got power for days and feels/sounds fastest to me and really reels cars in on The Commute.

Would be interesting to see the S95 against a Pariah against a normal ish car. Pariah reels the other cars in like they're standing still, but S95 in turn makes a pariah look slow.

Also, S95 so far has the biggest gains from HSW. ~40mph and 5 seconds.

I wonder if we'll see anything else with that insanity.

The supers class is already 'ruined' with HSW. It will only be a matter of time they add better sports car to the HSW list.

Since Open Wheel races launched, I have played those predominantly. They had gone quiet on last gen unless there was a $/RP promotion, but you could usually get 8 to 10 participants. On this version, the most I have had is 4 including me, and they all left after just a couple of laps. 

 

I suspect that Open Wheel races just have a bad reputation for being too hard or whatever. The amount of players who struggle with them and the basics of getting the car around the circuit is unbelievable.

I have the sneaking suspicion that they will not make more HSW vehicles and instead this will be a one or two updates deal at most, like the Tuner cars, the Arena War cars, the Open Wheel cars.

 

The main reason for this is simply because R* treats content additions in this game like a spoiled child with ADHD that has way too many toys and keeps getting more and more toys from their parents: They play a little with whatever is the new toy and then move on to something else while their old toys gets abandoned.

 

This does opens up the doors for them to make +140mph cars without HSW upgrades though...

I still just want a skateboard. That's it. Don't need missions with new annoying characters to go with it, don't need a scoring system, don't need a new property or business. Just give me a skateboard with customizable decks/wheels that I can access instantly via the weapon wheel and ride around the city, doing basic tricks and be able grind on any distinctive edge/railing

but expensive mods/conversion for HSW basically print/drain more money depending on which side you're on (R* or the one buying cars)

Also, if they don't stop adding the cars to PS4/XB1, then they'd have to use HSW to get more speed instead of 2 sets of stats for cars.

 

But once it's PC and PS5/XBS only... I suppose I could see them just giving regular cars with silly speeds...

It is so strange why R* haven´t added the content yet for PC! It is not that they have to pay any third party for the dlc on PC. Or maybe they are hiding something working on so they can release GTA+ for PC without hacker/modders can´t share the content with people who don´t have it....

Or they having meeting with lawyers so they can´t be sued for information who has and has not GTA+ if people with it getting targeted by hackers/modders!

I assume they are waiting to make as much money on consoles first before bringing stuff over to PC. We my get some info soon after the Sony free GTA Online deal expires on June 14th.
