Damn, the closest thing to a 4/20 bonus that we know of right now this week is the 50% off Biker Supplies - that and there's no early mention in this weeks newswire, best day of the week relative to Event Weeks to max it out all week and everthing. Unfortunate, even if they are saving it for just Wednesday - 4/20 is the only highlight between the end of December Dripfeed and the build-up to a Summer DLC.

 

Although, now I'm thinking; imagine if they put a Pegasus version of the LD Organics Van up for sale just on Wednesday, with no announcement or anything - the salt from people who want that but then miss the opportunity would be enough to cover the map of LS 3 times over.

I wonder if we'll ever see some significant quality of life updates. The rebalancing they talked about a while ago sounds nice, and it's definitely a step in the right direction (at least on paper) - but I'm more talking about menu stuff, like the vehicle selection screen in races, a "Claim All" option for the insurance, better contacts/garage space managers (especially some "master garage menu" where you can move stuff around between all garages for the 1% of the 1%), changing some vehicle classes/restrictions (the Ardent still can't race, and there are many inconsistencies in regards to vehicles' names, their class, their upgrades, it's all a bit of a mess). I'd still love an actual progression system, but I guess they made the Career Builder as a replacement to that which... okay, it's something. But it's still the same, confusing game. And I say that as a longtime player! They've made some steps forward (like rearranging some icons on the map, and adding bits of descriptions about the update in question when selected), but I expected a bit more, especially from E&E. However, I'm afraid it's a bit late for that. Which leads me to the next question... How big exactly are the next updates going to be? Even if we're just taking into account the new gen consoles. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Edit: To give credit where credit's due, the new gen main menu is a very nice and welcome addition, and I'm glad they did it (same with the Career Builder, it's not exactly what I wanted but it's a nice addition and it's pretty well made). But I still think the game needs much more.

Seriously tho. Could you imagine Michael being in GTA Online? With how Franklin left out a hint when we went thru the Richards Majestic Studio at how he knows one of the producers over there and hopes he isn't at work on that day. Mix in the possibility that Solomun Richards had a role within the canned 2020 Cops n Crooks update. Due to the Movie Props added with the LSSS update. Deep within the files, the Movie Props script was originally planned as part of the CnC update.

 

Maybe we would assist Rosalía produce a movie in the next update?

Well, just look at FiveM, seems like people are having a lot of fun with those things. The problem with the game is that R* never invested in Role Play mechanics. Being an associate in a CEO organization is the most useless or i rather say, the thing that is more disadvantageous for you, since you help your boss selling 4M worthy warehouse crates to get 5k's. Each role in the game should have their own rules, perks, exclusive features, exclusive mechanics, etc. I think the problem here was R* always basically adding different bussinesses but the ilegal part of it, are always the same thing, usually drugs or heists. They could change that a bit for example, the nightclubs having in the basement a "sick bondage club" lmao, like the taxi driver employee of Roman would say. (just kidding, it could be something like a ilegal motel), but in that regard i think that they could just open a motel bussiness and the ilegal part of it would be a prostitution racket. Other examples, opening a food-chain bussiness, the ilegal part would be a ilegal gambling house; a taxi bussiness » ilegal part would be a protection racket of some sort. Another example of of the box, a antiques store » ilegal part would be a burglary racket where you would sell the stuff you would steal from private houses and public buildings, etc.

Michael would obviously lend his help or be involved in some other way. And maybe because she wants to dabble in other things? She's big on music videos and film stuff irl so it's not unusual or anything for her to want to make a movie, whether it be just for GTAO's sake or in real life too.

 

And I very much doubt R* would revisit anything story related if they plan on bringing Michael into the next update, least of all anything to do with Dave or the FIB. They'll likely find a fresh new way to make the integration happen, much like they did with Franklin & Lamar in the last update, though there were quite a few nods to story related events, but that's all they were, nods.

I love that this game keeps getting updated, but I wouldn't care if they stopped updating it tomorrow, I got my money's worth, AND THEN SOME, long ago, obviously I want to keep getting updates, I just recognize that I have gotten more than enough value out of the game as is.

I mean it was def not a big update, but overall I thought it was still a decent update, especially considering the circumstances, I really enjoyed the Yacht missions, and I always love new vehicles

now if only they'd update the yacht interiors with a lower level with Test Drive Unlimited style garage with a master control terminal towards the bow

The only thing that just does not fit into this whole equation is Rosalia.

Personally, she doesn't scream "Michael DLC". Tho, the part about the movie studio and Solomun does make sense...

 

If only we had a cut SP missions connected with movie studios and, let's say, a fighter jet and maybe a mission where we'd steal said jet for movie purposes.

If only we had a DJ/host that not only made a soundtrack for a movie about fighter jets. but also is on good terms with R*, would fit with Michael DLC and would probably bring a long-awaited update to fan-favorite radio station.

 

If only such a guy and such assets ever existed...

Michael will probably get her killed accidentaly when the bullet is meant to be for the GTA Online Protagonist, like a certain event at North Yankton back in 2004.

Probably will put our GTA Online Protagonist into witness protection, or atleast on Michael (again).

It's like if GTA VI will be in the 80's vice city it's a bummer to me, since it's going to be very limitative, specially car wise (and it's not like the designs of 90% of the cars were cool back then - minus the muscle cars). Sure, maybe that would prevent of having mk ii's in the air, but doing GTA VI for that kind of people that lives in a time bubble of the 80's? a) maybe they are "too old" to even care to play games in general and b) maybe it would not work even for the kids of the early 2000's that played gta vice city that by the time we get gta VI they will be at their late 30's, early 40's and idk if games will be one of their main hobbies at that age, notice that i'm not trying to be "agephobic" towards people that play games at their 40's or 50's all i'm saying is that i believe that's a very niche age for gaming and i don't think R* would want to bet on that for GTA VI just because a nostalgia calling from the 80's if the game will happen to be set in vice city. Still, i would be totally ok if the SP story is happening in two different periods, starting in the 80's and then jump to nowadays, tbh i think it would be the smartest move.

okay? I didn't say one way or the other whether it would be a good or popular update, I just said the reason there is so much speculation about her is because hints of her being the focus of the next update are more concrete than the next eligible idea

Tbh, i didn't really car who's the next contract, Rosalía or not, the same why that i didn't cared if was Dr. Dre or anyone else. I knew for a fact that what ' was interested in was the content like vehicles, clothings, bussiness aspect, etc., bcz i already knew that this was just a DLC that would be another "heist".

 

About Michael, i don't believe that they will reduce him to such a side thing like VIP contracts of the "Franklin DLC", i bet that Michael will have it's own DLC with an unique theme, if not, then, R* will be lazy and wasting another opportunity for a Vinewood movie industry bussiness dlc.
