the biggest FO76 update, Wastelanders, was smaller than any GTA Online heist update, it literally only brought one heist to the game, I'm not saying the free updates for that game aren't good, just that the free updates we get for this game ARE good, sure there could be more, obviously I want LC, but to act like the free updates we already get are bad is just laughable

Why can't product and progress from our businesses accumulate in real-time OFFLINE so that I don't have to leave the game running for hours or play for hours to get a bar of progress? Businesses should incorporate the real-time mechanic that the Casino Lucky Wheel has so that when you return to the game an estimated amount of product or progress is automatically added to your businesses.

It would reduce the player numbers, if they would do it like that. Also having a nightclub would be way too OP then.

Special Vehicle CEO missions are fckd on PC, what a sh*tty week...its unplayable for me, when I join rando hosts the screen is all blurry, I dont know if it is because I join from Invite-Only? 

 

Edit: checked on google it seems to be an old bug..its around since their release in 2017

 

They should have made 2x VIP for two weeks instead.

What @Mexicola9302 said AND Rockstar makes accumulating money intentionally difficult and/or time consuming (particularly for newer players) so you're more likely to buy Shark Cards.

The only issue I got with updates now is that there aren't a whole lot of them.

 

In 2017, we got Special Vehicle Races, Gunrunning, Smugglers Run and Doomsday Heist, they were all pretty big updates and three of them had motion capture and a lot of work done into them.

 

They can't pump out updates as much as they used to? Sure. At least patch the game periodically then, we shouldn't have to wait for a content update for bug fixes, that is the worst thing they are doing at the moment, whenever we find a big issue after an update, you just know it won't get patched for the nexg 6 or 7 months, I remember back in 2017 when we had the issue with the steering on the Infernous Classic, they patched it relatively quickly and with an actual patch, why can't we get more of that now?

because as requested they moved most of the Online team to work on VI, there's literally no other explanation

honestly you guys need to get on the same page, some of you want more and more frequent GTA Online updates, some of you want more and more frequent RDO updates, yet even more of you want them to stop updating both onlines and release VI already

The only bug I've met was in Ramp Buggy mission - one of the robbers didn't want to move towards the getaway van, so we had to push him a bit.

They got the "manpower" to do all of it at the same time. Also that company is rich af, there is no excuse.

RDR2 was all hands on deck, you are delusional if you don't think the next GTA is also all hands on deck, T2 are rich af, you have no idea what R*'s budget for Online and their various other projects look like

Hmm... this is flawed, by 2017 RDR2 was still in full production, yet we still got all of those updates I mentioned in that year, Rockstar isn't some small indie team with limited resources, they are a gigantic company, they can absolutely maintain both games.

 

RDO players aren't even asking for frequent stuff now, they are just asking for updates.

 

What you said about frequent updates for GTAO has also been talked about in my comment, if they can't give frequent updates, they shouldn't leave the game with no bug fixes though, they should release patches outside of the regular content updates.

That's the thing, RDR2 was still in full production by 2016-2017 and yet we got many big updates during those two years.

I feel like the closest thing to a garbage update they've done was the LSSS, even if it had some welcome changes and stuff, it was rushed, and really didn't like how wonky it was, and considering CERTAIN events, even if back then, GTA Online only had some small updates and content additions, everything else is welcome but, LSSS is just... don't like how it turned out and the lack of replayability the yacht missions had, atleast the content from tuners and the contract was more enjoyable, even lackluster content CPH, which is a big money maker

The worst garbage DLC was Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series, adding 14 useless cars with advanced handling flags. So much time wasted on these cars, and then make them completly useless. The only good thing that this DLC added was the Sea Sparrow, everything else was garbage.

some people buy cars because they go nice with their collection, I bought many of the SSASSS vehicles because they aren't useless to me

I bought them too, because i hoped they would remove these annoying flags at some point, i mean even Broughy made a petiion to get them removed. But it never happened, and i still got them in my garage.

I bought all the Vapids from that DLC, Ellie, Caracara, Flash GT, Dominator GTX, GB200 the Överflöd Entity XXR (damn what a waste) and Tyrant because i thought it's not soo f*cking big, Weeny Issi Classic was for free iirc, well and the Taipan, Hotring Sabre and the Sea Sparrow. So not all of them, but most because i still had hope they would remove the flags someday. But yeah it never happened. Only sold the Tyrant and Entity XXR so far, because i needed some garage space back at some point. If i ever run out of space again i sell others of them.

 

Everytime i look at one of those cars in one of my garage or while calling them via mechanic they feel like stones of shame or something lol.

Your thoughts don't show up in stats. They see you purchased the majority of the cars from the update, and didn't sell them. So you counted in the successful update column. I've said it a few times, but analytics far outweigh post feedback. If everyone that hates an update is still purchasing the majority of items from it, or even playing it, that's what they see. As much as many think they are here reading every word, and that feedback is getting to the decision makers, I guarantee you it isn't.

You realize it was a replacement for the actual summer update that year? Due to real life events that happened, LSSS was quickly developed to cover up the original 2020 summer update and so that GTAO wouldn't be without a summer update that year.

 

Sure it wasn't massive or anything but I thought it was a solid enough update, especially with the vehicles and quality of life changes it brought. The new playable content (yacht missions, diamond casino adversary modes, open wheel races, business battles etc.) weren't really anything special but they weren't really meant to be either.

 

When they announced this update, it already seemed like it'd be mediocre in size from the wording R* used and that the real update to look forward to that year would be cayo perico.

I paid for the stock car because stock car with neons and chromies

 

xxr is a free car that looks nice from the podium
