You are right about everything you said, but the thing is it's still a fun game packed with more content than I know what to do with. Especially when you play your own way. The only other players I ever encounter are my friends. Otherwise, I play in empty sessions and just do missions instead of wasting time in freemode wars or lIllllIllIlllIIIIllll's oppressor MKII shooting range.

You shouldn’t have to force yourself to private lobbies. When you have to do that to avoid the garbage of public lobbies, you know your game is sh*t. 
 

And I get that the game has lots of content but is any of it of a high quality? Or is it copy/paste grindy crap? Apart from Cayo Perico, which everyone went gaga for because it was a change of scenery for once.

Most of it is the copypaste grind stuff, but the gunrunning missions have enough variety to me that they don't get boring fast. Those and the old contact missions sort of feel like normal gta, just without a linear plot. I rarely ever do missions on repeat apart from cayo perico, so it's even less of a grind for me. GTA Online is pretty much just a "make your own fun" kind of thing.

Not everyone treats it as a job or grind. The best part of GTA is all the messing around one can do, especially with a session full of friends. Most every other game out there has a forced structure to it in some way, or is limited in scope, but the open world of GTA and all of its toys still provide hours of fun.

I miss the early days of GTA Online. The game actually felt like it was about street criminals instead of secret agents and ridiculous unrealistic sh*t. I hope GTA 6 ignores Online like it is non canon.

I’m sure there are a few sadists out there who enjoy it (such as anyone who enjoys finding the collectibles in these games) but for 99% of people the grind is a chore. 
 

Anyway the openness of it is fine, it’s the poor design decisions permeating the game that turn me away. If you need friends to enjoy it, it’s a bad game. Simple as that. Because I guarantee you wouldn’t put up with GTAO’s BS design, awful menus, cluttered inventory, grindy missions etc if you were alone.

5 minutes later i got an notification that the guy i protected before destroyed an MC Sale with his Mk2.

It's been a while since I've sold anything at the public session. But the last time I remember well, there was a MK2 flying towards me and I already said goodbye to my profit, but the guy just accompanied me all the time and took other MK2s that came towards me from the sky. After the sale, he sent me a "you're welcome" message and protected the next player.

Am i the only one who thinks Franklin is just teasing some DLC lately with his captions on his GTA posts that he will just delete after some time? I'm wondering what role Franklin will have in the next DLC

if they were to update the single player traffic they could still add vehicles from updates later than 2013, not every vehicle in every update was a modern vehicle, we've had plenty of older vehicles added as well

Do you guys need a story mode dlc?
for me not anymore because thanks to gta online it is where the 160 million copies are at the same time that it is still alive let's go if it were launched I don't think it would even reach 100 at most 50
today it would not be very profitable
Also, I heard that the expansions of gta 4 sold little
so rockstar did well to sacrifice the story mode dlc

If i would go overthinking i would say next one is about Franklin & Lester in MHC? They both have money to do something big, rebuild or rent level in building so maybe that's one
Many says next one is with another VIP Client (Rosalía) to Agency but i think that's cheap for rockstar to adding only One new client in Agency Computer, they would do much bigger thing or maybe decent size DLC in summer and another BIG one in december with Franklin & Lester, there are many possibilities and lets not forget for similar thing    with Michael & Trevor Coop Mission which they could do like Short trips but with M & T with some rampage / action missions or something
At the end the have also experience with "map expansion" as locked interior for mission but they could do that too (Liberty City Heist but preps in LS & Cayo pipping dreams)

I don't think he was using godmode because he said he was killed multiple times by that player. 

 

I'm wondering if it's similar to thermal sniping people through buildings, but because you're inside a property, you can't actually die.

Yes because SP > Online modes any day, any game, any place. Games are supposed to make you relax, not pissed cause you stumble across Tommy Basement Dweller and Angry Micropenis MK II

This late in the games life cycle, nobody should hope for a SP dlc. It's complete nonsense to even speculate about it.

 

The only thing i could imagine, is adding cars from MP into SP, into the traffic and added to Legendary Motosports Cars and SSASA, else absolutely nothing.

Is this really what GTA Online has became? Is PvP dead in Freemode? It happens in Versus mode too. When your team is winning, people on the other side start leaving.

 

In my experience, the people who do this don't leave, but instead hide in their facility or something so they don't get killed by you. Or they just EWO for days. Something's wrong with them mentally.

Still apart from that kind of players that you can encounter in the game, i would always pick up  online bcz it's funnier to play with other human beings rather npc's. There's always the factor of you don't know what's going to happen.

I had someone in my session yesterday. 104 k/d, always in a jet. I sat in 'Out of Sight' and as soon as I put one round of explosive ammo into the plane, they teleported to the facility. Constant pause menu, watching to see if it was safe to chopper over to Zancudo for a new plane. Ghost as they flew back only to get a round in the plane again. They left after a few times, which is sad, because I thought we had a thing.

Yeah, I've seen players do this, too. This facility warping nonsense is getting more and more common, especially on the PS5. It's gotten to the point where around 7 out of 10 players do it after I kill them or am about to kill them. It no longer becomes PvP at that point, just a teleport fest. The moment I see them teleport to their precious facility, I instantly go to the RC Tank/Bandito and take shelter until they get bored and leave. Idiots.
