Tbh...i don't know that if that's not going to be one of the very few possibilities in terms of mansions, if that comes at some point, bcz the ones from vinewood hill, not only are a lot of them with mission checkpoints, are too small to have enough stuff that you "need" to buy in the menu in order to spend 4M $ like all the other properties (although a mansion probably will cost like 20M). And being underwater it saves space. It would be cool something like this:

 

 

But if they don't give some sea life there, it will feel a bit depressing.

Or they can build some near the beach and have half of the mansions underwater:

I think people are mistakenly conflating the two statements into being one thing, tbh.

 

The first part says that the next wave of GTA+ stuff will begin on April 25th. The second part says that the next GTAO update will include special GTA+ items (which could just mean something as simple as exclusive t-shirts and the like). But there's nothing joining the two things - i.e., it's not saying that "the next GTA Online update arrives April 25th".

 

I mean considering they're giving away special exclusive items from the next update to GTA+ subscribers, I'd be inclined to believe the next actual update isn't too far off, otherwise they would have saved the giving away of special items for later.

Since the + bonuses last a month, so end of April until end of May, I'm thinking a June update.

 

Edit: perhaps it could even be announced before the T2 earnings call which happens in May?

And let's say to "appease" the PCists that probably the PC version will only come with the new DLC. People thinking that R*/Sony's deal would be just for 1 month and then Consolists would be happy enough to buy the game again for 1 month of exclusivity and after that PCists getting it right away. Consolists would get a bit cheated (if not already for the simple fact that they had to pay 60$ for it, minus those from PS5 that got 3 months for free, i know, but was hard for Xbox clients).

I was assuming they'd do a spring update (for the first time in years) in May and then the regular summer and winter updates but considering the special items would be available to GTA+ folks for a month, it'd make sense releasing the update shortly after that period ends.

i doubt the next steam update is only fixes, they've been working on the QAbeta branch long before invite spam became a problem which should've been fixed at the server level

I really do wonder what the newer DLC's features will be for the current console hardware. More vehicles? (30+) Faster planes? More/bigger content such as Cayo? If the old generation is capable of cayo in a single DLC i wonder how big current gen "map expansions" will be in the future. The previous DLC's were certainly hold back because of the older hardware in some degree. Will we finally see the USS Luxington in freemode aside from only the Business Battles?

Not if there is an additional vulnerability in the client, server-side can very well just be a part of it.

but a bad firewall is one that requires a client-patch to stop things going THROUGH your servers

Same here. I just wanted a normal street Deluxo with no hover or flying in it. They could've charged 1.21 million and gotten away with it.

I assume it's the three braindead robber NPCs that got stuck in the loading dock hallway and you had to get out of your car and push them out of there into the parking lot so they can get into the Rumpo. Pretty often too.
