Fun fact, the game won't boot you for inactivity while stuck in the endless loop. You only have access to your phone though, so the only way to get out of it is if you have a mission waiting on your phone.

I think that it is a crime that Tequi La La isn't permanently open with music or bands playing, as a place for players to hang out. The interior model is there straight in off the street like the strip club, as evidenced by the Contract mission that sends you in there to retrieve the item from the safe.

So I went to bed last night, leaving my Bunker and NC to cook as usual. Woke up in the morning and checked the situation. As per the latest usual "There was a problem with this session so you'll be thrown back to story mode" message was hanging on my screen. I did grind my teeth and went back into Online and spawned in my Bunker to see... well, I guess the game broke 10 minutes after I went into bed, so nothing had actually cooked. Got out of the small, claustrophobic, stinky Bunker sleeping room to go to the security monitors and was greeted by... the Minions? O______O

PS Had to restart the game, cause, you know, when modders do something like this (for example I've been a huge ball or a walking wall or locked in a cage) it follows you till you restart. You can't simply change sessions. Doesn't work like that, pal! 🥲

Not to be a dick but why in hell would you afk in a public lobby with the risk of “modders” f*cking up the session?

Too much work to go to Story Mode to go to something else from there. I usually go in solo-public before AFK, but sometimes the session fills with people anyway, sometimes the session does not fill but crashes anyway or the servers disconnect or whatnot. I'm sorta used to it and don't really pay attention. In short: it's more convenient for me to do it like I do it.

Use the Creator instead of Story Mode, much faster. (pause - online - creator)

In the creator, press P to open the pause menu again, go to Online, Play GTA Online, Invite-Only Session.

You don't even want your friends to join you, whether it's in Closed-Friend, and they accidentally bring modded stuff to you, or public, and the lobby fills up after your friends join.

Don't forget to set your spawn location in your bunker or nightclub or wherever you afk.

The auto aim is so bad that there is only two ways to do those auto shop missions. Either drive with the snack menu open or pay the $5k for the Distraction to make them go away.

3rd way is to go in your garage and bring a weaponized vehicle which are much more suitable for these missions. C* actually said something like we get to use the best suitable vehicle modified to suit each mission best. In no way are these sh*tty tuner cars more suitable than my Scramjet, Toreador and Mk2.

At least you get to play them, for me it's like, open the lobby, turn catchup and slipstream garbage off, one guy come, stay on the lobby, then we have a parade of low levels that come, look, think, am I going to play against a level 1380 on the PC? nope! There is the option of joining races with catchup and mayonnaise on too, sometimes with custom vehicles off so stray bullets can turn your race into a lotto game. Or also be kicked before the race even start.

So now you don't spawn back outside the Casino doing the Cayo prep, you have to exit the penthouse and off yourself in the corridor again?

 

And now in the UD Contract, you don't have to shoot your way out the vault and there's no guards?

 

I wish they'd stop f*cking about with pointess sh*t like this. If they have time on their hands, fix some things off the giant mountain of messed up bollocks that actually matters.

The pop up enemies in some of these tuner contracts and the cayo perico heist piss me right off! My low level teammate died twice at the first clubhouse so I had zero lives and completed the entire heist. I would have rage quit so bad if this biker hit me with a burst fire! Oooo I'd be mad. 😆

There's still guards on the vault floor. If you're silent there will be one dumbly standing in the elevator. He's hidden in the corner and disappears the moment you step onto the elevator. If somehow you alert the guards before going down to the vault level, then a few more guards appear. A couple stand in the hallway and a couple more will be in the elevator, all waiting to be shot. The two guards who used to rush towards you after exiting the elevator will also appear, but they spawn in late and will shoot you in the back if you're too quick.

 

I think this guard setup makes sense, most not appearing unless the alarm was tripped early, but they are glitchy and don't react. They just stand there.

I had my MC raided while inside the Agency. I registered as MC and sat behind the computer to run agency mission and heard the MC soundtrack playing but did not connect it with the raid. Thought it had something to do with the Agency. At the last minute I decided not to run the Agency VIP mission and do something else. I quit out of the mission menu to see that I had lost the product and MC business was shut down.

 

I usually turn in-game music off but I had not done it this time for some reason. If I had turned it off, it would have been an even bigger surprise.

 

I probably should not have done it as MC and MC businesses are tedious nowadays anyway, so it is not that big of a deal, but still this is not a good look. All other interiors do not initiate raids. What if it had been Bunker and all product would have been lost? Would have been way worse.

So I enjoy watching TheProfessional videos in my spare time. I know this is an old video of his but I didn't know where else to say this. I feel like he uses a bad example for #2 here.

 

I think Professional was in the wrong here during the heist with Death Star. 10% is too low for anyone. Heist cut fairness is a two way street. Yes, if you're a finale hopper, you shouldn't expect a high cut. But the host shouldn't lowball a finale hopper just because he didn't do the setups. Don't forget, that finale hopper is still a contributing member of the team. Without him, you would have waited even longer to get the heist done. He also said "$50000 for one mission"...except that anyone who's done heists can tell you that they are longer than they look on Youtube, especially when you do them with randoms. In Death Star's eyes, Professional and co were randoms. He had no idea how good they were at heists. He didn't know how long the heist would really take. So it's no surprise that Death Star left. For a heist that takes a while with randoms, $50000 is peanuts.

 

Yes, I know the video was covering the original heists which aren't as relevant today. But people are doing Cayo Perico which is a heist and has the same cut mechanics.

TIL that if you start shooting your gun on the vault floor after the alarm is going off you'll spook the one guy in the elevator. You'll get the prompt to put on a mask and the other guards spawn in.

He also may be the best player on the team that can drag particular finales all on his own (Pac St Finale, for example, which I've done numeral times - and there's the caveat - with noobers that LISTEN).


This is a foreign concept for some idiots that think that rolling me less than 15% will make me play better. "But you are at this Rank, it means you don't need money". Shut up, b*tch! I didn't made my Rank and money cause I played for peanuts all this time! Not many bugs in this game require a full reboot, but that damn persistent wanted level bug during the first superdollar deal prep is one of them and it's really annoying. 

That wanted level never goes away so you can't complete the prep. Finding a new session doesn't help so you have to reboot.
