Seems like they update every 3 days, but if you haven't played a race in a while you might have to do that.

Franklin is our business partner. Why are we supposed to kill him in the new adversary mode?

What kind of f*cked up logic is that AGAIN????????

They're just being attacked by people who can't afford Agencies.. Simple Rockstar Logic. Better them two than an adversary mode with Sess and KDJ yelling Mu'H f*cka while he pretends to be a gangster. 😆

That would be very unbalanced, they would make love while being shot at, they can't help it.

They should have left Franklin out of this dlc and just had us buy it from a guy that's getting out of it. They could keep the missions and had a bunch of smaller client jobs that pay between 200k-1mil or so and that would have been fine but no they give us a useless partner again that does noting and crap pay out.

They really need to step back and move away from real people cause not everyone likes these peeps that keep getting forced into the game. Never heard of Moodyman till the dlc that added his dumb ass into the game and I never want to see or hear that asshole again cause of it lol.

Yet another horribly unbalanced Crapversary mode. I tried one round and was the sole person placed onto Holdout.... until everyone and their dog 'joined' the team and I got kicked to the attack team like usual. 🙄

And of course the other two high levels were Franklin and Lamar while I got the single and double digits on my squad....

All the attackers have are shotguns, everyone is big and open and if Franklin/Lamar get on a rooftop it's over!

These are the the same laments that many of us had back when Cayo launched. It's just a new environment with slightly different rules that throws you, is all.

Only the first Scope Out is a pain because it's a tutorial, so you're not so in control of the pacing. Subsequent ones are much quicker and they get easier once you get to know the island, guard spawns, loot locations, etc. Plus you don't actually have to scope everything every time, just what you need for the run, which ain't much. Essentially, you're looking for 2 stacks of Coke, maybe a Guard Uniform. Oh, and the Drainage Tunnel if you don't already have it.

I promise it all gets easier with practice, to the point where soon enough you'll be ripping out solo Elite Challenge completions and Cayo will become the insane money tap that everyone says it is.

My tip for the heist itself is stealth is The Way. Just don't get caught, and if you do, eat a bullet and restart. This means you can skip all of the Disruption preps, too, since they only matter if you get caught.

Anyway, there are plenty of vids and posts on this forum to show you what to do, so I won't recreate them here. I'll just say that everyone talks about how easy and lucrative Cayo Perico is - there's got to be a reason for that, right?

Last week i did 220+ crate source missions, i was grinding rp with the 1 crate sell method...in all that time i only Got 1 special item from securoserv network...right now i logged in an invite only session, bought the Shinobi, i was fooling around, and Guess what... Assistant calls...of course You cannot source crates in an invite only session... Rockstar trolling at their finest...

And yep, sadly you have to learn a lot of the AI's routes and there will be a bit of trial and error involved (because bugs...) but if you approach it slowly it's not that big of a deal. Also if you want to have an easier time then the guard clothing can be really effective, I just did a run with that the other day and happened to record it and even with bugs and mistakes it was a very smooth ride:

Thank you both for the tips. Sadly, I actually was using a walkthrough on Youtube (using the drainage tunnel approach while escaping at the main dock) and still had a pretty miserable time of it. I think I need to try it at night so I can see the enemies' vision-cones a little better. Also, whatever weapon loadout that gives me the sniper rifle.

Conspirator loadout, gives you the Military Rifle, which is purpose-built for this Heist.

Also, you don't need to exit at the Main Dock or anywhere else. Just head north-west from the compound gate, get into the water & swim directly away from thd island. Mission completes once you get far enough away.

Forcing yourself to use the tunnel every time is not only a great way to burn yourself out doing Cayo Perico, but also a garbage way to learn how to stealth around on that island or inside the mansion. Fastest is not always best and definitely not the easiest. Watching youtube vidoes is not learning the game.

Start somewhere remotely via longfin/plane/heli, learn guards patterns (their positions iterate, sometimes different ways will be easier). You have then easier time picking up secondary loot before you dive into the mansion for the main dish. You can often find outfits in places that require barely any killing. Once you have the guard outfit, provided you don't just stand in the cones of vision like a big dumbo or swing your guns, you can explore freely on the finale (except for the red-cone enemies in the mansion). If getting a truck or ropes proves difficult, guards around the mansion are almost guaranteed to drop a password to one of the side doors. Always poison the water supply during scouting, so enemy accuracy drops in case things go south. Leave the island via the big port with a boat. Use bikes to move around.

Cayo Perico is not only the easiest heist to pull off perfectly once you know what you are doing, it's also the most fun because of the various approaches you can do, different strategies and the random factor of guards/loot/equipment spawns. And it's fairly easy to do the elite challenge solo no matter what approach you choose. I can screw around and still leave with several minutes to spare. It's the repetitive setup missions that suck ass, but the heist is both fun and pays great.

I always choose my method of entrance by seeing where loot (coke) spawns, where are the outfits and other equipment. The sub approach sure is the fastest, but also easiest to screw up because you can't be spotted by anyone during almost all of it.

Protip 1: despite what Pavel says, you can still stay incognito in guard uniforms after you leave the mansion. Just don't swing your weapons around.

Protip 2: the sniper rifle penetrates enemies. So if you score a headshot, the round will keep traveling and may alert some other guards. Rifles are your friends.

Protip 3: I always do the optional armor destruction setup. It ensures that guards will die quickly without staring the alarm in case I screw up a shot and it's a very fast mission anyway.

I remain in slack-jawed amazement at the sheer number of players who think they can skip all the optional preps and still get thru the Casino heist.

I also remain in awe at R*'s diabolical genius in making so many of the preps optional. I can't imagine how many thousands of hours and trillions of dollars have been lost by the 90% failure rate that skipping preps causes.

Level 2 Security Passes, people. The prep takes 5 minutes. It'll save you way more time than that.

Security Tunnel. Sewer. Staff Door. There are no other entries.

Oh, and Uzis are no match for fully armed and armored Duggan guards.

Why the cars with Imani Tech™ have custom icons, if they not even weaponized? Some griefers just stop following you once they see you're on the new cars.

I just want to make them waste as much time and missiles as possible!

I mean, we are supposed to be the boss. But except for Pavel we are constantly being bossed around by every character like we are their delivery boy.

I'm paying up to 2 million for some facilities just to listen to some unlikeable character treat me like their little bitch.

That is hell on earth.

The payphone hits when you have two players are f*cking garbage.

Why is there one that involves killing 4 targets simultaneously when there's only 2 of you? I'll never get that bonus.

Forget that though, get a load of this sh*t. It gives us the hit where we have to kill the dudes driving Coil cars before they get to the destination, and the bonus is to do a drive-by using the Micro SMG. Well, I have the Micro SMG hidden, and guess what, the game WONT LET ME DISABLE CUSTOM LOADOUT DURING THIS MISSION. So I literally cannot do the bonus, but hey it doesn't even matter because one of the targets got to the destination (Paleto Bay) so quickly there was no chance in hell I could have gotten to him in time even if I did have a Micro SMG

You weren't there in my run with a non-random host (which is a kind of personal B&M itself) , thousands of guards capped with the pistol and a good deal of corner shooting. Took something like 6 headshots I believe.

Only because host was trying the impossible hack on a door, punishing with a harder finale I can get that but I remember the hack (a minigame with dots) and it's going at lightning speed with a bad hacker.

With that being said, there was no pushing so I don't see it in the room before the mantrap where it's probably the most intense and unavoidable room.

The hacker is the worst to select poorly by far, it's THE guy giving time in the vault after all (the one thing the non-random host did but can't be excused) .

Because there's barely any space to land your Sparrow, and that's what I normally use to pick up the incompetent clients. It's just a stupid location in general. Literally any other location is fine. It's just this specific location one that gives me issues.

Ah you got the location where they're all at the dried out river... thingy... whatever...

Either way, landing a copter there is pain. And when I managed to land the client jump right into the back rotor despite there being a space open for her on the side she was at but she insisted on running around aaaaaaaand she's dead.

I just use a car like my Buffalo STX to get there and back, since the the drop off is close enough to the damn. Using the sparrow is just asking for trouble with the landing.

Is there even a chance of there being an RDR3 at this point? Plus even if there is a chance, I really doubt it would becoming out before GTA VI.

RDR 2 sold well so yeah, obvious there will be a third one.

And tbh I'd take it over Online ANY day. At least GTA has GOOD updates to fill my hunger for content, RDO just flatout sucked! No Outlaw content, just hippy sh*t.

Does this happen to anybody else? You go on call for a short trip mission, you get thrown into one, you back out, and then you get stuck in free roam, unable to move, use your phone, or even pause. You're forced to restart the game.

Example:

This sh*t pisses me off to the max.

The AI in these missions is horrific. A few pages back I posted a picture where the guy I was tailing fell through the floor and couldn't progress. I had to kill him.
